i vote smash bros style, though it'd be neat if you could HAVE both styles in the game. like bros style for the adventure mode, and Vs. for some actual fights between people.

Yeah, I actually read a while ago that the street fighter creator expressed interest in Nintendo vs Capcom. So maybe it's actually gonna happen!

That would be awesome. I would prefer Smash Bros. style, but either style would be great.

the reason i say both is mainly cause tourny fags are like its unbalanced with items on, well now it's got a fighting game element in it without taking away from the adventure mode madness.

If there's going to be another smash bros. game, I'd rather it be a true smash bros game. Let the smash team work on that.

Maybe incorporate some elements of smash, like grabs... are there grabs in street fighter? Or maybe charging attacks, but don't just make it, items free, flat stage smash bros. The game-play wasn't built for that, and the platform fighting is really what makes a smash bros game a smash bros. game.

I'd rather play a straight up fighter. It doesn't need a goofy story mode, as long as it has decent wi-fi support.

yeah street fighters grabs ORIGINALLY was you jsut be really close and attack, now its usually hit punch and kick in some combination like lk + lp to do 1 grab.

and yeah your prolly right, bros. should be bros.

If it were to become reality, I'd be fine with whatever the hell they do, as long as they have one thing included.

Servbot. Playable.

well, To be honest I would not really want to see a fighting game if it's going the path MVC3 is going. Nothing against the idea, I was not a big fan of TVC

I'd rather see it smash bros styled. With supportive DLC, perhaps this would influence nintendo to not seem lazy or simple?

yeah whatever nintedno does do for its next big game no matter what it is.

DLC
Online co-op AND vs.
no friend codes
endless gameplay.

nintendo needs its own little big planet.

anyone remmber the game, Amazing Island?

perfect starting point.

DLC

No.

Not unless it's at least a month or two after launch.

Aren't they doing Street Fighter/Tekken crossover games? One is SFvT and one is TvSF and they'll both be designed in each game's fighting style? That would be pretty neat, to have a standard fighting game under the name Nintendo Vs. Capcom, and then maybe a Super Smash Brothers + Capcom game with the Smash Bros physics, too. I'd probably get both.

And I kind of agree yet disagree with Kegan on the DLC thing. DLC can be a great thing, but the way Capcom especially does it, is bullshit. I don't want to pay for s**t that should have been in it regardless, or sometimes, IS in it. I'm interested for Nintendo to get into the DLC market, because they haven't entered it themselves, and they generally release pretty finished games, which, months later, we wish we had DLC for. It would be neat if they would slowly enter the DLC fray with certain games months after they come out.

Then there's no "yet disagree" part.
