Background
Being a Freshman at Northwood High was hard enough as it was. But when you added the rankings the school did, it made it even harder. Most Freshman never made it in the top 20. There being six rankings: smartest, most athletic, hottest overall, hottest boy, hottest girl, and finally, best couple. The school was big for a small town, but still everyone knew each other, making things simpler. Though the school was like any other, having cliques, they weren't as bad, since most students fell into more than one clique.

Story
She was a Freshman at Northwood, her parents weren't the richest, but not the poorest. She had heard of the dreadful polls of Northwood High that determined your role in the life of school, but she never thought she would qualify. During the first week of the first quarter, you got a good look at your fellow students, and then you voted. When the results were announced, she was stunned. She was the second in brains, first in hottest girl, second in most athletic, and second in hottest overall. Not knowing the boy who was ahead of her in not only most athletic, but also brains, and hottest overall, she never minded. That is until she joined Northwood's Academic Team, meeting the boy who was ranked above her. He was a senior, and on track. Rumors were true, he was gorgeous, had a great build, and above all, funny. Though she does not see him fit for being ahead of herself, because of his egotistical and overly sarcastic ways. But through the team, and classes she is stuck with him in, she may learn that the students were right for him being above her. She may learn, it's not all about the looks and smarts, but his actual personality, causing her to fall heavily for him. Him being a Senior, makes things difficult, but she just prays, he has the same feelings for her.

My life before now: I grew up being an only child. My father works doing cable, so he is never home, and my mom works at some country club,so she spends all of her time there. Leaving me home alone to deal with things. I try my best in school and my sports. I love my life, though I do miss seeing my parents. Other than that though: I have a pet Alaskan Malamute named Tango.
