I don't know... My father had a girlfriend for about a year, but decided to stop seeing her in part because she was still friends with her ex husband. I really don't think it's appropriate to keep seeing A. If anything, you should tell him to get over you.

Well, this is one of those situations where you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Personally, I would stay as far away from A as possible. Any relationship with him could have harmful ramifications, for you or your relationship with A. I know it sounds cold, but nothing healthy could come of it.

Fights are like cuts, heal but leave a scar. Personally, if someone did all that to me. I would drop kick them so bad. But to avoid further drama, befriend him again, but don't pour everything into him. Make it just a friendship and ensure your boyfriend this is to avoid drama. This is a super late reply but hope its already resolved xD

i think you should do what your heart tells you, but be careful. i just got out of a kind non relationship, turns out the guy was(is) still married. yeah we are not happy around this house. but always follow your heart! heart
