Lets Play!
In the world there is alway's a rival alway's able and willingly to challenge you. In this world rivals are common, and in the world they play a game called Duel Monsters. It's a common game that two or 4 can play and face off against the odds. You begin with 2000 LP. The one who can get the other player down to 0 is the winner. But it is quite different, since we live in a futuristic world. The game has been tweaked to feel and breathe. You only get 5 monster cards and 3 magic and 2 Trap cards. In this game you enter a world that you can face off alone, or face as a team of 2. Your partner will share the same LP as you so it is kept even and fair. The one or two teams to fall is counted as a - 1 point. The team that succeeds will get a + 1 the team with the highest of 30 points will win and rank to the next level. The Highest of all ranks is S class and they are deemed as Master Duelists. People who have challenged the best of the best and became one of the best. Being bestowed upon a god card they will be able to challenge other's but will not rank any further.
This is the rule of becoming a Master Duelist, A Duel Legend.

The Story Line
In the story your character just started playing the game. You made your 20 card deck and your ready to throw down. In the game you are given a rank. All new ranks start at the lowest which is D level. D ranks are basically newbies. They start with a basic deck of their choice. Choosing a card from the stack they are able to construct a deck of there own, and will be able to play them by legal standards. Also they have a choice to partner up as a team of 2 or they can go solo and face all odds. The rules of the game is quite simple knock down your opponents LP's to 0 and win. If you lose a match you are deemed with a -1 point. This will not change a D rank, but it will change other ranks. As you grow stronger, and battle more challenges. You will be able to earn points to buy or use to get new cards for your deck. But remember this, 4 star or lower can be summoned anything higher then 4 is a special summon and will need the required sacrifices to summon that creature. If its a Tribute summon, you will need to use a card to fuse them together and create a Fusion monster. Rules are stated and will be followed correctly. This area you will begin to play is none other then Battle city. But instead battling in the open, you will be put into a Virtual world where you will challenge yourself and against other's. So good luck and get your game on!

ID: Bio: Starting today, my first day, of becoming a duelist just began this morning. I made sure my deck was legal, and I hoped I didn't have to make any changes. But of course earning points is something I would have to take advantage of. My friends always believed my skills would be beneficial to dueling then doing homework. They believe my skills are great, so I'm going to prove them that I can do it through strategy. My best bet is to start in Battle city, I heard they had this new machine that wires your brain and your deck at the same time. Allowing you to face other rivals challenging for that prize. I guess I shouldn't wait any longer, I will need to show them what a true master can do. Something you forgot?: My stupidity Gaian name: Arcos Magna
Character's Name: Serenade Raulings Gender: Female Age: 17 Rank: D 10 card deck: Summoned Skull, Gemini Elf, Jinzo, Copycat, Penguin Knight, Pot of Greed, Monster Reborn, Raigeki, Mirror Force, Enchanted Javelin 10 card main deck: Gemini Elf, Magic Cylinder, Swords of Revealing Light, Dark Magician, Mystical Elf, Yami, Dian Keto the Cure Master, Neo the Magic Swordsman, Trap Hole, Ancient Elf Char. Choosing my starter cards, I found that I like a specific type, the Spellcaster type. I dunno. Just something about it makes me feel confident, so I'm going to follow my feelings and stick to mainly Spellcasters. As a D rank duelist, I want to work my way up the ranks and become a Master! I have only one question in mind: Should partner up with someone, or should I go solo? It's a hard choice to make, but I'll figure it out sometime. Right now, I need to look through my deck and find some strategies I can use against my opponents. Something you forgot?: I get my hopes up easily. Gaian name: The Raining Soul

It begins as a new day, a new semester a new beginning. Outside, their seems to be a fresh new breeze in the air, duelist around the world gathered here in Battle city. To face and challenge there hearts content. But today we have a new story, about two duelist with a smile on there face, ready to face what comes their way.
It is the afternoon of which every duelist gets out of class, they begin there first day gathering new strategies and new ideas on what to make through there work and their cards. Yugi the king of games has stated a challenge to all duelists out there, Those who can reach S rank and face him one on one or two on one, will be able to receive a God card from his deck. It will symbolize the courage and heart you put though the battle.
Standing outside of Hawkins school, Hawkins was fired and ready, taking his deck out preparing for the best, he studied each card over and over, watching in his mind that each card had its own specialty. "Alright, now to get signed up before the whole thing ends. Don't want to miss a thing, right." as he looked at his deck he placed it back in its deck holder and started to run off to the competition.

Serenade was standing in line for the sign up table at the place of the competition. She was looking down at her main deck, holding it close to her so no one else would see her cards as though it was a secret. Her heart was beating faster and faster with each step closer to the table. One by one, duelists were entering, and she couldn't wait until it was her turn. "Oh man, I can't wait to start dueling. Yugi is my dueling role model.. I have to meet him..." She said to herself quietly.

Running through the crowd a young man raced through as he watched as kids and adults began to group up to hear what the announcer was going to say. "Awesome, just made it." as Ben began to walk through and noticed a girl holding her deck as though it was a secret. Looking over he could see the same thing as others were doing the same thing. Having his deck in its holder he began to watch as the co worker beginning to talk about the whole battle rules. Talking about how the game will be holding. It was in the battle city but inside Kaiba's corps battle pods? "Battle pods? Is that something new?" as he asked a stupid question as others laughed. Ben just just laughed with them to show he wasn't stupid but began to hear more as they were selecting partners on the side to whom ever wants to work as a team, to do so they would have to pair up duelists and fight each other to whom get's first place. From listening to this, Ben began to get his duel disk ready. "Alright! Time for some action!"

Serenade finally made it to the signup desk, and by then, she'd practically stopped breathing. She gave her name when asked to, and stepped aside when she was done. She looked around, seeing a lot of people, as well as seeing the pods. "Those look strange..." She said to herself. She'd put her deck back in its case and in her pocket moments ago, and now she had her hand on her pants to feel the hard rectangle from the outside. She noticed that some people were partnering up on the side, and she began to ponder on whether she should find a partner, or if she should solo.

As Ben began to sign himself up he made a sure note that he would become a dueling champion. Sliding here and their he made other's wait, and it made them mad. After taking a few minutes designing his own name, he stepped away to see other's with a glare. Slowly penning there way on the paper. Finding himself in the practice field he stood there kinda lost. But someone came by one of the people that were in the line, challenged Ben for the stakes of his duel cards. "So how about it? Lets Anti up."

Serenade saw people gathering around in a large circle somewhere close to the practice field, and she walked over to see what was going on. "Hm?" She stood on her tip toes to try and get a good look at what was happening, then gave up and squirmed through the crowd, ducking under people until she got to the front with a good view. She saw that there was a man who was challenging a younger man of about her age, and the older man looked serious. "This is gonna be good... She thought to herself as she watched what they were going to do.

"Sure" with a battle smile from Ben he stepped up and got into his stance, taking his right hand back he pulled out his deck and slid it in the hole where his cards began to shuffle. Only 5 cards popped out and they were random so the cards of the owners wouldn't cheat. The other guy held out his hand and grinned slightly. "Alright, to make this easy, I'll start first." as the man began to place a card on the battlefield. "I summon Celtic Guardian in Attack mode!" Using a flash stance while summoning the monster to the field, the man grinned with a evil smile. "Now it is your turn, bean sprout." With a sudden move, Ben drew his card and looked at his hand. Hm.. well I guess I'll start with this card. "Alright, First I'll play the card known as Scapegoat, this allows me to special summon 4 beast tokens onto my side of the field. They can also be used to sacrifice to summon a level 5 and 6 start monster. After that I shall place two face down and end my turn." with a sudden change the man grinned and drew his card. "Alright since your asking for it, Celtic Guardian Attack his red Scapegoat, make it scream!" as the Celtic Guardian obeyed its command it flew towards the red scape goat. "Not so fast, I activate my trap card! Tragedy!" the man posed back as he saw his Monster being forced to defense position. "What the heck!" Ben stood there sighing in relief. "Tragedy allows me to change the opponents Face up Attack to Face up Defense, and destroys all monsters in defense position. Since your Celtic Guardian is the only one in defense position it is automatically destroyed." as Ben commanded, the card which was on the field was destroyed instantly, along with his trap card Tragedy. Placing his trap card in the graveyard it was his turn. "Alright, my draw!" drawing his card he looked at his hand and picked a card through chances. "I sacrifice my two Beast tokens to summon Luminious Soldier in attack mode! And when he faces a Dark type he gets 500pts more to his attack." as Ben stood forth he ordered his soldier to take front. "Now attack Luminious Soldier! Attack his life points directly!" the Luminious took point and began to face with a incredible power sending the duelist to the ground. Watching as his LP spin down to 0. Ben was declared winner. "Alright!"

Serenade watched the battle, impressed that the guy her age was smart in his moves, when his opponent just focused on attacking him. "Hah. That guy got owned." She said to herself. She then remembered that she didn't have a duel disk yet and squirmed back out of the crowd and walking away from the scene to go pick hers up. She wouldn't have a custom made one yet, just the plain blue and white one. All new duelists started out with those until they were advanced enough to have their own custom made one.

After the battle against the challenger, Ben was allowed to leave on his own accord since he was having so much fun, beating the crap out of the annoying wind bags. Stepping through the gate, he decided that his cards needed a little more tuning and went off to card shop to buy some more sweet new additions to his deck. Finding his way around he entered a little store and began to look through the rarities and commons. Hm.. they all look so good, but what I'm looking for, is something that might increase my chances of winning. hm. Looking around more he sighted a few cards that seem to be the chances, but they were risky. Each card he picked and looked and read. Each effect was there own. They didn't have a corresponded team effort, but it seemed from Ben's point of view, they had a group effort. Using what credits he had he purchased them all, and began to sit down re-doing his deck. "I think I'll call it, Future's Eye."

Serenade had received her dueling disk and easily got used to it. I actually feel epic with this thing on my wrist... She said. She felt the adrenaline pump through her blood, excited that she was finally an official duelist. She fast-walked back to the dueling area, looking around for opponents. However, she wanted to start slow, taking small steps. She wanted to see if her deck was good enough, or if she'd have to go buy cards to enhance her Spellcaster deck even more. She finally found an opponent of her level and began to duel with him.
