It's okay if you want to stand out from the crowd, but you're not standing out from the crowd if you follow herds of others like I've seem some other hipsters do.
Ugh. Just ugh.  How many hipsters does it take to screw a light bulb? Oh, you wouldn't know, it's a very obscure number. Some guy on the forums What are Hipsters exactly? They're people who go out of their way to like things other have heard of so that they may be special. 'Course, I may be being a bit harsh on them. Some hipsters aren't that bad.
I don't see how that makes them special... having a rare talent or skill makes someone special right? |

i like Arcade Fire! i like some indie music, but just because of the sounds/lyrics, not because they're some group that i've "discovered" before anyone else, before they were cool.

i agree. it's funny, most hipsters try to be different from everyone else. they like different music, dress differently, act indifferent, they try to be unique... but at the same time it's like they're one giant clique. they've even been labeled: "hipster." they're not really different at all, they just think they are. maybe i'm stereotyping, but that's how things seem to me lol |
