So I was laying on my bed and something friggin stings me...I reach down and try to brush it off and see what it was, and whatever it is I picked up moved. I jumped and ran into the hallway, and a centipede crawled under my bed. Its swelling up and it hurts like hell. I dont think its poisonous but we caught it and put it in a bottle just in case.
What about you guys? Anyone here have any painful insect encounters lately?

Not recently, but when i was a child I had an earwig in my ear...they eat your earwax and hurt your ear like crap! If they get far enough in they can make your ear bleed.

If they get far enough in they can make your ear bleed. ow! the worst i had before this was a red wasp got me twice in five minutes...but i didnt lnow about the existance of earwigs D: shiz is scary man

used to be tons of them where I lived.
Red wasps? I got stung by a paper wasp twice on the same finger in the span of ten seconds...hand swelled up pretty big.
but red wasps...wow.

I got stung by a sweat bee before,was minding my own business and bam...
Had a lovely bump on my hand.
I also got chased by wasps,buggers are out for revenge...<<
