The exam was held near evening, which was odd because Professor Malcolm was usually known for his early exams. In the classroom some students were oh so familiar with, there was a barrier around the the middle "road" that most of the exams had been held on. As the students started to filter in, Malcolm looked up from where he was, leaning against the edge of his desk, and gave them a small smile.
"You have to take the water path today," He gestured at the stretch of water to the side of the classroom, "Your task is to rescue Vlad. For non swimmers, you may take the rowboat... This is a team effort, so I expect cooperation from everyone. There will be no free riders in this exam."
Meanwhile, Vlad - the invisible dog - sat in a small floating bucket, wearing a frilly pink collar and a shiny crown on his head; your minipet training professor had a sense of humor at least.
Exam Mechanics -> This exam is done via dice rolling. -> Everyone starts off with 30HP! -> Every time you get a fail roll, it means that you got caught/trapped in the obstacle and lost 5HP!
First obstacle: Fishing line hung across the stretch of water, making it impossible to pass. Can be disabled by pushing four buttons, two on either side of the watery path. -> Roll 1d4: Get 2 to 4 to pass and disable trap! -> Only needs to be done four times among all examines!
Second obstacle: Lots of seaweed, tangling up limbs and boat oars. Can be disabled by pushing two buttons on either side of the watery path. -> Roll 1d6: Get 3 to 6 to pass and disable trap! -> Only needs to be done twice among all examines!
Third obstacle: Whirlpools! Almost impossible to pass for both swimmers and boaters. Can be disabled by pushing two buttons on either side of the watery path. -> Roll 1d6: Get 5 or 6 to pass and disable trap! -> Only needs to be done twice among all examines!
Fourth obstacle: Tentacles?! 'Nuff said. Can be disabled by pushing a button on either side of the watery path. -> Roll 1d10: Get 7 to 10 to pass and disable trap! -> Only needs to be done once among all examines!
Get Vlad!: Since he's on a boat, it moves... Surprisingly fast. You can't see Vlad's troll face because he is a dog, and is invisible. -> Roll 1d20: Get 18 to 20 to successfully grab him! -> Only needs to be done once among all examines! -> RP going back to Malcolm once someone had grabbed Vlad!
-> To pass, you need to do at least 3 out of the 10 actions required to rescue Vlad and someone needs to rescue Vlad at the end of the exam! -> You cannot post to roll twice in a roll. If you rolled once, you must wait for someone else to post after you before you can post again. -> If you hit 0HP, you dissipate and appear at the starting point, where Malcolm is. Depending on how well you had done till that point in time, might pass or fail after the exam is over, aka when someone had rescued Vlad. -> If Vlad is not rescued by the time everyone had hot 0HP, everyone fails. :V

Vaith wasn't familiar with the classroon. Nor with the professor. So he wasn't sure what he was quite expecting, if anything at all. But it wasnt to rescue a invisible dog. He stared at the floating pink collar and crown suspiciously. In fact, he almost wanted to walk straight out of the room. It took all of his will simply not to, keeping his feet planted to the ground.
Gingerly, he laid his cape on the ground. He learned how to swim since his time .. not being able to swim on the boat trip. It had been quite awhile and he probably needed the practice. Hopefully, he just didn't die while doing it.
Fishling line, impossible. He swam to the other side of the unknown student, deciding to tackle both sides at once. Button, one got!

Water, water, everywhere! Gargantuan could not have been more delighted. The swamp beast rumbled happily at his fellow students, the professor... and, well, at the water itself. Gargantuan launched himself into the water, his spines and tail rippling sinuously. He was definitely in his element. Besides, they had to save the puppy!
Of course, he ended up getting his head snagged in that fishing line, grunting with surprise even as he flailed a little. Owie! It didn't feel so nice against his skin! SORRY, GROUP MEMBERS.
