Okay, For starters, I will in fact tell you know that this is indeed about worldly views and opinions.
First off, Im going to imform you that I am probably one of the most open minded, unbias people known. I utterly dislike ignorant people/ people whom have bias opinions or judge others because they think differently. (Sorry if you whom are reading this is one of those people but its true. Your just to damn closed minded to bother to think about other opinions other than your own selfish ones...)
Now let me get right into my rant.
So, you know how friends are suppose to always understand you? How they are always suppose to love you and accept you for who you are? Well yeah, I thought that to.
First I'll go ahead and tell you this. Im Bisexual -Everyone gasps in unison- I know, A shocker right? Get over it. And well, everyone I know knows about it now. I told them, and they were all fine with it. Yeah thats all cool, I live in an okay place that wont judge me. (The people Im close to that is.)
Well then, the other day me and two of my close friends were having a really intence, serious conversation about this stuff. Like the opinions on Race/ Sexuality/ Religion/ Gender/ Etc. Well, as hard as it may seem Im also an Atheist. -Terror screams- Yeah yeah... Im not against the thought of a 'god' or anything. I believe anything is possible and we arn't ment to know untill the end. You just dont know. But untill then its only logical for me so I lean onto the Atheist side...Simple right?
Anyways, so me and my friends were having this conversation. (Note that I use to be a HARD CORE Christan and went to a strict Christan school when I was younger. I've read the bible like five times. My friends whom are Christan currently havent even read the whole thing.)
So we are all having this talk and what not, and we begin to get into the conversation about Sexuality first. They are both strait of course and turn to me with a strage look. I stared at them for a minute before we all started laughing because, of course it was just a joke.
As we got deeper into the conversation, they began to tell me what they really thought when I first told them my little 'Secret' (Which was a long time ago)
They said they were a tad freaked out to be around me/ get to close to me/ be touched by me or even change in the same room together. Apparently they thought because I liked girls as well, that I was going to be some type of perv and watch them wile they change, or touch them or something. That kinda pissed me off.
Almost every person I've met thats strait doesnt understand me. They all think just because we like the same Gender, means we like EVERYONE of the same gender. NO YOU DIPSHIT. We are just like you! We dont like others unless we have an attraction to them! You dont walk up and see a boy or girst (Depending on your gender if you are strait) and think about how you automatically like that person. Or lets say you have a best friend of the oposite gender. It doesnt mean you like them!
Honestly, I WOULD NEVER, have intence personal feelings for my friends other than friendly love. But for some reason they are to damn ******** conceited and think just because Im bi means I have to have some sort of an attraction to them.
Oh, that leads me into some more rantings I have.
I was at the Fanime-Con. In San Jose, Ca. When I met this girl. She was nice, pretty and all that but it wasnt like I liked her.
We started talking and at one point I ended up mentioning how I was Bi. She was cool about it, but her reation was. "Oh thats cool, as long as you dont hit on me then we're all good."
And I was like WTF? Do you really think that highly of yourself? That me, a stranger would just start flirting with you? Like hell I would...
So, I was like; "Hehehe, Yeah. Dont worry, I wasnt going to hit on you anyways."
Then she got all offended. "Oh, that hurt..." She said and I just got pissed.
Make up your ******** mind! Do you want to be hit on by me or what!? First I said I wouldnt when you said not to, then you get all pissy because I wasnt going to. Are you really that ******** ignorant?!
Anyways, back onto topic.
So me and my friends.
Now we got into the religious parts of the conversation. We were all going around explaining out opinions, and of course my two friends basically had the same thoughts. You die, you go to heaven and live in eternal happiness rada rada...
Then it came around to me. So I'll go ahead and explain what I think happens after you die. (Note that this is only my opinion and I dont expect anyone to feel they have to feel the same as me. Its just an Opinion. )
To me, we are just human beings. We are creatures of nature. We are nothing more than a body of cells and organisms. To me, the little "Spirit" Inside us we call a "Soul" Doesnt really exsist. Not exsist, but more like its not what people think it is. Like the most commonly thought of it being like your Spirit, or that spectral energy inside of you that is you.
Well to me a soul is just something that is who you are on the inside, like your personality, your memories, and your emotions and what not.
To me when you ( In general, be aware Im not aiming this personally "At you". ) When you die, you basically disappear from exsistance completely. Nothing can live forever. Not even memories. Because when someone has memories, and then when they die. Their memories leave with them because they were the only ones who had those "Exact" Memories. Others could share similar memories, or what the same memories. But it still wont be the same because they were memories from that persons point of view. Now then. Back onto topic.
So when you die you disappeare from exsistance forever. Your just gone. There is no complicated "Soul" of you that lives on. Your just gone. Thats how it is to me.
So I told me friends this and they looked at me as though I was the most depressing person In the world. WELL, Im sorry if you dont agree with me opinion? Jeezz, its not like I look at you like your a retard when you tell me your shizz...
And its not depressing to me, to me its the way it is and its natural...
Im just pissed that they actually jjudged me because of me opinions.
Oh, and then I went on asking them about what they think happens in "Heaven".
The most common Christian belief is that when you are there, you are and can be anything you want, be with anyone you want and do anything you want. Endless happiness for youself. Lets say you want to be with your family when you were 13 again. SHAZAM. There you go.. Apparently thats how it works.
Well, honestly, they call me depressing when that sounds way more depressing to me.
Think about it. You wont really be happy. Lets say I died early and my parents were still on earth alive. And lets say I wanted to be with them in that perfect little place in the sky. So yeah, Im there as though I had never died. But it would depress the s**t out of me. Knowing that these people that I was with werent really my parents. Knowing my parents were still alive wile I was with these pety memories that are suppose to bring happiness.
Yeah, doesnt sound to pleasant...
Please understand Im not going against anyones beliefs, Im just staying some random rant i wanted to get off my chest.
No one be offended, it isnt dirrected to anyone personally.
So yeah, that was me blowing off some steam by typing a s**t load.

I Totally agree with you too. Most of the time I sit there wondering whether I'm the only one that thinks this way; I was wrong sweatdrop . I also agree about your point of veiw about religion, you can't be sure of anything so might as well keep your mind open to possibilities, right? As for your frustration about steriotype towards bysexuals, I believe that it is because of ignorance (and I don't mean in a bad way) However, in our society we are raised to think that relationships are boy and girl. So this new (I shouldn't say 'new' but reaccuring) relationship between same sexes is a bit mind bending. I personally found it hard to understand but eventually I got used to it, I have about three friends who are gay and it doesn't bother me. It's true though that there is still bad judgement towards gays and that still concerns me; although we should keep our mind open and see it from their side. Their opinion shouldn't bother you if you don't like it. I try to take the good sides to a person's comment, and ignore the rest (especially if it makes me feel like crap)

Speaking of arrogance, and ignorance I dislike the fact that modern society basically revals around gossip. I hear all the time, on magazines, at school, and sometimes on those fake news stations; it's pathetic! And I know I'm just ranting but that's kinda why this was made, right? Ah, the religious scene. It gets frustrating to talk to people about it, especially when you have your views and your friends/peers have theirs and parts of everyone's views just don't seem to connect and agree. Just to clarify things off the bat, I'm straight and agnostic, and I have friends who are part of the GLBT community.
I've never found anything wrong with people who aren't on the same page as the majority when it comes to sexuality. In fact, I leave them welcome to walk into my life if they want to, and I'll only freak out if a dude hits on me seriously ('cuz I'm slow and would jokingly hit on them back). Not too much though, but I give a disclaimer first and hope he catches on from there. I never judge based on their sexuality, but on their personality. If I grow to hate one person, it's because of their words and/or actions toward me. Not just directing that to the GLBT people, but going in general. :
On a related note, I haven't read any form of religious text, but I remember part of a line from one of them: Love thy neighbor as thyself. I do believe that should speak for itself.
People shouldn't be judging others about where they go after death based on what they think. It's not like they have any control over it anyway.
I personally believe I'm just gonna go spirit-wandering after I die. The physical body is a vessel, anyway. :3

I think your point of view about life and death is really interesting. It did make me think a bit. I still believe in reincarnation after death, though. But hearing such a point of view would only make for an interesting conversation to me, I can see why you're annoyed. Also, I have never had a problem with other people's sexual orientation. I think it's a bit (or more) stupid to think that a person could possibly be attracted to somebody else purely because of their gender. You only need a bit of logic to see that it is absurd.
