❖ Name // She's turns any spell code thrown at her into a washbasin. Whenever she attempts to try a new code - it always summons a washbasin to fall from either the ceiling or sky - often times hitting some unfortunate person's head. Suzu is very capable of defending herself from high leveled magic - but the problem is; she always turns those spells into gray, metal washbasins. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), Suzu's washbasins always disappears after a period of time.
❖ Personality // Suzu is a bubbly, hyperactive girl who can't seem to sit still for prolonged periods of time - hence the reason why she choose Classic Magic. She's has a tendency to come off naive and childish due to her ability to unabashedly ask questions and ability to squee at any cute thing/being that crosses her path. Suzu is quite clueless to nearly everything, most of the time people even label her as naive. She gets distracted very easily, and one must always be calling her attention back to whatever she's doing. Because of that fact; she occasionally leaves her homework half-finished; much to the annoyance of her teachers.
As for her washbasin quirk, no one knows where it stems from, not even Suzu. Her strange washbasin fetish would probably remain a permanent mystery, and quite frankly, she sees nothing wrong with summoning washbasins all the time.

❖ Biography // Suzu was the second child born to a car dealer and a mechanic, the firstborn being her older brother, Valshe. Growing up, Suzu was a daddy's girl, and claimed that she wanted to be a car mechanic (despite her father's protests). Of course, things don't always go as planned, and once Suzu realized she had magic - well, she used it to the fullest. But unfortunately, all she ever did was, well, summon washbasins. It soon became common for the backyard to be covered in mounds and mounds of washbasins, only to disappear the next morning.
Years went by, and Suzu soon became lazy and started summoning washbasins inside the house. Suffice to say, she was soon bundled off to Yumemiru Academy when her mother tripped over a rolling basin, down the stairs and broke her arm. Unfortunately, Suzu's first three semesters went by with absolutely zero improvement - she still summoned washbasins. This upcoming semester, she heard that she was going to be assigned a new mentor - most likely due to the fact that she accidentally gave her previous mentor a concussion with the last washbasin she summoned.

❖ Abilities // Zephyr's power of technopathy works with broken and non-broken electronics; just as long as it is in his line of sight (he doesn't have to be manually touching them; but of course, if he's capable of touching them; that would make his life easier). Instead of sapping energy like most other powers would do, technopathy (if done without physically touching the said item) would make Zephyr disorientated, lightheaded and dizzy. If done for too long, Zephyr can, well, loose consciousness.
The best way Zephyr can describe his power to others is, well, talking to machines. He can identify even the slightest signals in technology, like if the guy in the other room is talking on his cellphone to a girl in Canada. He is also capable of doing hardware-mechanic-fixes on electronics; but it requires for the said electronic to tell Zephyr what needs to be fixed and how to do it. And well, sometimes some electronics just don't want to be fixed. (and there has been the unfortunate occasions where Zephyr actually got electrocuted by reluctant machines)
Zephyr can order various systems to do certain tasks through his cell phone - which is pretty much with him 24/7. Zephyr is capable of tracking people's locations via their own cellphones and figure out the President's schedule for the next few weeks. He can infiltrate and control, but is not limited to, alarms, firewalls, sprinkler systems, traffic signals, intercoms, and phone lines. However, the more complex the system program is, the harder it is for him to infiltrate. But, generally speaking, once he can infiltrate it once, he has no problems doing it in future occasions. (first ones are always a toughie and last the longest)
In simpler terms; Zephyr has developed enough control over his ability to control systems at short range, but he needs a communication device to properly affect more distant systems. Basically, his magic ability is based around information gathering. However, he is capable of fighting, thanks to some help from his college professor and the Headmaster's daughter - and he has quite the arsenal of codes in his SC (activating them is a different story as he sometimes would have to persuade his SC).
❖ Personality// Zephyr is a rather laid-back, care-free and quite straightforward guy who cares deeply for his family friends. He’s quick to notice his problems and do not hesitate to give advice about them. Granted, he's not the best adviser you can find; but he tries his best. Because of this, he has unknowingly created quite the name for himself in the female socialite world throughout the school. Zephyr is the sort of person who hides most of the negative thoughts to himself, choosing to give other optimistic ideas whenever possible. Zephyr has a strong sense of justice, and is strongly motivated to help students in whatever way possible.

❖ Problem // At the start of coming to the Academy, Mariko was (and still is) extremely hot tempered. However, this caused her ability, the power to manipulate fire, to go out of hand. For a while, she was burning things left at right, and nearly decimated a building and three people once when she found bullies cornering her twin sister, Miyako. Another problem was that she could only control her gift with anger - if she was in a calm state, it was nearly impossible for her to even light a spark. Luckily, her mentor, Lieselotte, was extremely patient coughstubborncough and guided her through her training - soon, Mariko was able to control her skill even in times of calmness, and reign it in in times of anger. Although, the same can't be said for her temper...
❖ Abilities // Mariko has the ability to manipulate heat and fire, whether its conjuring up a fireball or simply raising the temperature in the room, and she is immune to it as well. (Perhaps this is because of her skin being eerily ice cold all the time?) For the small fires, such as fireballs and boiling water, she does not need to utter spell codes - those are reserved for the medium to large spells, such as casting a huge fire barrier or bringing out her favorite weapon, the fire whip. However, Mariko's skill is somewhat limited, in the sense that she must have an outside heat source to keep her magic going (which is why she keeps a silver lighter on her person at all times). If not, the heat will be taken from her body, and after a prolonged amount of time, it will start to give her a case of severe hypothermia.
Another nice trick her ability gives her is how to detect lies - Mari is highly sensitive to temperatures, and as such, she can detect someone is lying by feeling their skin and sensing if their body heat has shifted.
❖ Personality// This scarlet witch is known to many as...well, a witch - literally. Her sarcastic, blunt, and rude personality is just who she is - and that's Mariko on her good days. As mentioned before, not only does she have a hot temper, but she has a short one as well - when provoked, Mariko can be sadistic and cruel, with no regards for moral codes nor of those around her. Her methods of teaching students are a clear example of Yumemiru's definition of "unorthodox." Don't judge her by her looks though - she's quite intelligent, and her sharp tongue proves it, especially during arguments. Still, she does have her kind sides...once in a blue moon. (Though they're more geared toward her sister, Miyako.)

❖ Biography // The parents of Mariko and Miyako were graduates of Yumemiru Academy themselves - the mother was a Modern magic user, while the father was a Classic. They went on to create a large internet software company, later expanding into other branches of technology. Still, they loathed to stay in one place, and began to travel more. However, as a result of all this traveling, Mari and Miya were often left at home alone - with a French governess/nanny to keep them company. The lady had a foul mouth when angered, however, and because of Mari's constant mischief, it was often directed at her - which explains the reason why Mari knows so many French cuss words, but can barely introduce herself in the language.
Mariko's little talent with fire was under suspicion at the age of seven, when a maid that had angered Mari suddenly found her hair to start smoking. It was fully confirmed when she was kidnapped at the age of nine and locked in a closet. After three days of staying in darkness, in a fit of rage and fear, she burned down the door and the building along with it - her captors were severely injured. For some strange reason, her fear of darkness has never been absolved, though her fear of small spaces has - slightly.
After the kidnapping incident, she and her twin were sent to Yumemiru at the age of fourteen to try and harness their powers. (Partly because the maids were threatening to quit because of all the singed hair.)
❖ Fears // Mariko has an extreme fear of the dark - if there is even a tiny sliver of light, or if she has nightvision goggles, she is fine. But being blind and not knowing where she's going? That'll make her go insane. She also has a somewhat mild case of claustrophobia (given that if she lights a flame in a small, dark enclosed space, she will eventually die from oxygen deprivation.)

❖ Problem // Hisoka has the uncanny ability of catching himself on fire. Worst of all, the flame that comes out is blue, and nearly impossible to put out with normal water. It somehow manages to come out of his forehead, and sometimes singes his hair as well. This only happens when he's extremely angry at someone or extremely embarrassed, but Hisoka's probably too dense to figure that out right now. Thankfully, this doesn't happen too often because Hisoka's so darn stupid and oblivious, or he'd most likely burned off all his hair by now.
❖ Personality// How would one describe this scatterbrained klutz? You would start by saying that he's a nice guy, and that's certainly true. Although he often screws things up because of his clumsiness and lack of coordination, Hisoka's always willing to help others or just keep them company. He's always polite (unless he doesn't like you) and apologizes to everyone on a daily basis for absolutely no reason. Clumsy, disorganized, and almost always caught up in a daydream of some sort, he's frail, short, and can't handle most of his subjects in school. In some cases, it would be an understatement to call him pathetic- he's practically hopeless when it comes to school or physical education.He's extremely scatterbrained and forgetful, which explains his plunging grades in every single subject. Hisoka can't remember most things at all, since he's usually not paying any attention to what's going on around him. He can be an airhead at best and a total idiot at worse, so sometimes trying to get him to listen can be difficult. But he never means any harm and he doesn't space out on people on purpose, either. For all of his shortcomings, however, Hisoka has a kind heart to make up for it. Though he's not terribly naive, he can be a little too innocent for his own good at times, and that's what usually gets him in trouble. Unfortunately for him, Hisoka rarely has his guard up, and is rather vulnerable to whatever is out there. He's also very unsuspecting to strangers, and gets along with pretty much everyone he meets (even if they don't get along with him). However, just make sure you don't get his bad side, Hisoka can prove to be quite scary when he's angry. Normally, he has a lot of patience, so that doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it's probably a good idea to get out of the way. Though he can't do much damange, Hisoka does catch on fire (literally, my dear) and that means you may also get singed!

❖ Biography // Hisoka's not exactly normal (how many fifteen-year-olds catch on fire by themselves?), but his family sure is. They're the typical Japanese family with a little twist, which would be Hisoka. He's got a loving mother who tries her best to be supportive of her failure of a son, a workaholic father who comes home roughly every other day due to his job, and an older brother who puts Hisoka to shame because he's such a genius at everything. From an early age, Hisoka has watched his older brother rise to fame with his intelligence and brains, and he's always wanted to do the same. Unfortunately for him, the harder he tried, the harder he fell and failed. His parents didn't push him too far, since they knew that it would be nearly impossible for Hisoka to outdo his brother when he couldn't even walk on flat surfaces without tripping, but Hisoka still tried his best. But no matter what he did, he was always the class clown and the butt of everyone's jokes. That's not exactly supportive, and that frustration built up inside him. And then, when he was ten and staying over at his brother's house along with his wife, it snapped inside him and burst out - literally in flames. From then on, whenever he gets upset, angry, or embarrassed, a bright flame would pop out from his forehead and start burning up his hair. His parents and brother worried over his extensively, and finally decided to send him off to Yumemiru Academy to find a fix for it. With some hope, it would work, but so far, Hisoka's still been catching on fire at nearly every situation. If this goes on, he'll have singed hair all his life, and that's not exactly a good thing.
❖ Fears // Hisoka can't stand horror movies/stories. Don't even attempt to convince him- he'll be gone in a flash, literally. The poor guy will then most likely be found shivering in a corner of the restroom by himself. Another things he won't hesitate to run away from include spiders, any kind of insect, and gunshots. All of those things scare the heck out of Hisoka, and he'll either be off in a cloud of dust or catch on fire immediately. Not too convenient when you're trying to get away, actually...
❖ Crush // None, but I wouldn't bet on it staying that way.

❖ Miscellaneous // Hey, there's actually one thing Hisoka doesn't fail at (can you believe that?), and that would be cooking. ❖ Problem // Lora's problem starting out never sounds quite as bad as it was. She could cast spells, sure, and though some wouldn't work (as she was still learning), those that did were fine. The problem was that everytime she casted a spell, flower petals would cover the grounds around her, once going as far a block around her! And though it sounds lovely and beautiful, it never just a small dusting! Piles of petals, everywhere! Once, in her classroom, she ended up burying her class in four feet of sunflower petals. Quite embarassing, really. It took days, sometimes weeks to clean it all up. It wasn't uncommon to see her at a young age with trail of flower petals telling where she'd been. And all those with allergies simply couldn't stand to be around her, friends or not! It took time (and a lot of outdoor classes), but eventually the problem was solved; no more petals for Lora~!
❖ Abilities // Lora is a nature elemental; plants are her friends~! Well, sort of. She can hear them, in a way, and speak with them, but not in the way humans speak to each other. Plants don't have a the mental capacity to form real thoughts. It generally sounds like broken sentences, sometimes just words. And, if she isn't careful, it can be overwhelming, all those voices filtering into her mind. But she's gotten used to it by now, and can even completely ignore it at times! Besides just speaking and listening, she force her will upon the plants, too. Of course, there are limits; smaller plants, though easier to manipulate, aren't as strong as the larger plants. Things like flowers, weeds, and bushes are not only more common, but the easiest to control. Things like trees, though just as common, are stronger, and therefore need more energy and willpower to control. Plants Lora is unfamiliar with, though not impossible, are also difficult. The longer she holds the will of a plant, depending on how hard it is to control, the more engery she uses up. Eventually, she'll pass out.
❖ Personality// Very much in the spirit of her magic, Lora is free-spirited, and natural. She's easy to get along with, as long as you're on her good side. She's outgoing and friendly, always willing to lend a hand. Though she's very competitive, especially with her brother. She hates to lose, and will often sulk for the rest of the day or so. Honest, but not blunt, she believes in doing what is right and is often times reckless in doing so. She has yet to grasp the motto 'look before you leap', and ends up putting herself in dangerous places because of it. She simply doesn't think of the effects of what she does can have on her and others. But she never means to hurt people (unless, well, she means to), and will always protecti her friends and loved ones however she can. Even her idiot brother.

❖ Biography // Lora and her twin brother, Luke, grew up practically inseperable in a quaint little town in Iowa. Since the town was so small, it was hard for either twin to hide their magic for long. Lora's was the first to show up, unfortunately; her first spell put the town's church out of commission for a week. But no one ever spilled the beans outside town. And when Luke's magic kicked in, they kept his secret too. But of course, neither could keep going on how they were.
So, once they were both whisked away to Yumemuri Academy, and put into different classes from there. It was the first time in their entire lives they hadn't done something together. It nearly killed them the first year; they couldn't focus in class, and were always late after lunch since they were in no hurry to get back. But things got better (or worse, depending on how one looks at it), and the two got more accustomed to the seperation. So much so, that they sometimes hardly noticed the other's absence. But it always instilled a bit of hostility towards the other; they began to argue about who's magic tecnique was better, what faction was suprerior. Lora always argued for Classical, while Luke held fast to Modern. Its hard to get the two talk about much else anymore. Though despite their squabbles, they still love each other, and have advanced enough to both become mentors.

❖ Problem // Perhaps even more annoying than his sister's flower petal fiascos, Luke's little 'problem' was that whenever he casted a spell, he'd cause a massive blackout through their small town. Sometimes they would last for only a few minuter, sometimes, they'd last for a day. And there was no common pattern to determining the length! It always happened when he was trying to cast a spell. He once caused a blackout throughout the entire town in the dead of winter; it lasted all day and night, and everyone had to huddle inside the church to keep warm. Naturally, the town wasn't very thrilled with him. Good thing he was good looking, even as a kid.
❖ Abilities // Luke's magic specializes in lightning. Or, really, electricity in general. He can't control electronic devises or anything, but powering them up or shutting them down is within his control. He can conjure up small lightning bolts from his hands, and send them off in the direction of his choosing. However, they can't travel very far, unles conducted by something. Also his power is very much amplified by the rain. If he gets ambitious enough to stand out in the middle of a thnderstorm, Luke is able to conjure up a lightning bolt. Of course, it only strikes him (though is doesn't really hurt so much as tingle), and he can only do it once, as he's competely exhausted afterwards. Otherwise, the rain merely amplifies his range of attack and his power levels.
❖ Personality// Where Lora is all natural, Luke is more... sophisticated. He takes pride in his appearance, and has always walked around with his head up. He's very intelligent, and is generally one of the smartest guys around. But watch out! He's quite the charmer! He loves to flirt with girls (and guys, surprisingly, though he's completely straight), but most of the time, it's meaningless. He just does it because he can. Not that he means to hurt any feelings when he does. Where Lora is reckless and go with the flow, Luke is more the type to think three steps ahead. And when Luke's magic kicked in, they kept his secret too. But of course, neither could keep going on how they were.
So, once they were both whisked away to Yumemiru Academy, and put into different classes from there. It was the first time in their entire lives they hadn't done something together. It nearly killed them the first year; they couldn't focus in class, and were always late after lunch since they were in no hurry to get back. But things got better (or worse, depending on how one looks at it), and the two got more accustomed to the seperation. So much so, that they sometimes hardly noticed the other's absence. But it always instilled a bit of hostility towards the other; they began to argue about who's magic tecnique was better, what faction was suprerior. Lora always argued for Classical, while Luke held fast to his own Modern magic. Its hard to get the two talk about much else anymore. Though despite their squabbles, they still love each other, and have advanced enough to both become mentors

In his mind, preventing pneumonia was his main priority! Though he had other problems as well, as he had a tendency to create ice cubes when trying to cast spells. It took him a year and a lot of heated rooms to get the hand of his powers.
❖ Abilities // Takumi's power is elemental, the element being ice. He can manipulate any form of ice and snow, and can freeze any form of liquid. It is a rather dangerous element, so he is often kept under surveillance by the higher-ups. In battle, he can manipulate water by forming ice shards and throwing them at his opponent. He can even freeze their body temperature at the risk of the other's health. so he tries not to be involved in combat very often. He only requires spell codes for the more difficult spells, like lowering the temperature or freezing large amounts of ice. Of course, it is sometimes difficult to find a good source of water, so he often carries liquids around with him that contain it. Due to his ability, his skin is often icy cold, despite his preference for warm weather.
❖ Personality// Takumi is very boisterous, as well as being very selfish, stubborn, and very immature. He can be rather childish and inconsiderate, qualities that he takes no real notice of. However, when he is in the presence of a lady, his personality takes on a different appearance. When in the presence of a woman, he will transform into a complete gentleman. He will be a very kind young man, and very flirtatious- qualities that make him an excellent guy. In this state, he is very considerate to women, making sure they are in the perfect state of comfort. All in all though, he is a very honest and loyal person. Takumi tends to bring confidence to others around him. Though his conceitedness often irritates them afterward, as he prefers to refer to himself as "the great me".

❖ Biography // Takumi was born to a Japanese actor and an American model, two very beautiful people in the entertainment world. Having grown up the youngest child of three children, the elder two being girls, he was often pampered and adored by his family members. Back then, he was a very spoiled child, demanding only the best for himself. However, that all began to change when his powers began to make themselves apparent.
At first, the temperature of his room began decreasing, so low at times that it would be very chilly for any normal person. Then, his skin became very chilly and pale, and his mother, believing he was ill, took him to only the best doctors around the world, but none of them could explain his lack in temperature. It got to the point where Takumi's own limbs were beginning to freeze over and his hair began forming into icicles. His mother feared for her child's life, and tried to keep numerous heaters in his room, even going as far as to keep him hidden from the world.
Though reluctantly, she sent Takumi off to Yuemiru Academy against her child's wishes to stay in the comfort of his own home. All during his Freshmen Year, Takumi worked hard to improve his skills and improve himself, even getting over his spoiled attitude, though he is still immature. He works hard everyday, studying and training in hopes that he will soon be able to return to his mother and siblings.

The size of the plushie varies depending on what the object was before it turned into a giant stuffed animal. Unfortunately for Hikaru, he has no control over what will turn into a plushie or even what kind of plushie an object will turn into. So, he actually has a huge collection of stuffed animals of every kind in his dorm room- anything from My Neighbor Totoro, Domo-kun, and huge stuffed Hibirds. He's actually gotten used to the fact that he keeps turning things into stuffed animals and gives them out to those who want them. Thankfully, he can't turn people into plushies- only things that don't have any life in them.
❖ Personality// Hikaru can be distant. Well, actually, he's usually very distant. He avoids speech whenever possible and doesn't let anyone know how he's feeling. Actually, he doesn't care much for emotions, whether it be his or someone else's. So don't be surprised if he can't tell how you feel, since he won't be able to. Hikaru's bright. Don't get that wrong. He's just also extremely dense when it comes to social skills, that's all. You can get him angry easily, but he won't let you know that. Nah, revenge is a dish best taken cold, you see? You'll never know you have a silent enemy sitting in the back of the classroom... Hikaru's the type to hold grudges for a long time, so I wouldn't suggest you make him angry, or he'll be glaring at your back for a few months (if not a few years). So, it's a good idea to not get on his bad side. On the other hand, if you happen to get along with Hikaru (not as difficult as it sounds), it's actually a very good thing. Hikaru's very dependable and as of yet, has never went back on his word before. Although he keeps most thoughts to himself, he's always on the outlook for his friends and their well-being, though you won't ever hear him admit that. He's a bit of a softie inside, which is why you'd expect plushies to pop up around him, right? Hikaru's also the owner of many different shortcomings, including his ridiculous pride and ego. Most of the sitters were very kind people who were experienced in taking care of kids. But when you're the only son of two millionaires, it's usually hard to tell him that he can't have everything he wants. So, the various caretakers he had came and went like a breeze, and he was actually never really well taken care of. His personality got a bit out of order as well, and he soon became one of the snobbiest little things you would ever see. His parents, who were well educated and did not want to see their son go to waste like this, sent him off to a string of boarding schools. That did him a bit of good, although to this day, Hikaru is still a bit selfish and egotistical. But for the most part, it no longer got in his way. When he was enrolled in a magical academy, his teachers noticed that he kept transforming things into plushies. It soon went out of hand, and his parents had to transfer him to Yumemiru Academy to get rid of the problem. They were a little worried about the reputation, but... well, it was eitehr that, or having countless stuffed animals pop up whenever Hikaru tried to work a spell, right?
❖ Fears // Anthrophobia, or the fear of flowers. Sakura flowers in particular, actually. It doesn't suit him at all, but hey, those pink blossoms can actually reduce Hikaru onto his knees. ❖ Problem // It's quite possible that the reason Emiko tends to be so chatty and willing to help is because of her ability, which gives her the power to read minds, including but not limited to the thoughts, feelings and carefully kept secrets of others; of course this is more of an issue then a blessing, since she can't control how much she learns or where her powers poke around. To trigger the ability, Emiko has to be in direct physical contact with a person and to keep using it she must maintain exposure, but once she touches an individual there's no telling how much of what she'll see, or how fast it will come to her so she usually ends up feeling quite disoriented and sick after long periods of useage. And prolonged exposure isn't helpful for the person she's touching either, since if she dives too deep into important memories she might accidentally leave the other person with a temporary blockage, or amnesia.
❖ Personality// Bubbly and kind hearted with a thousand watt smile that could light up a room, if you're ever feeling down come to Emiko and one hundred percent of the time, she'll try her best to cheer you up, or at least make you laugh with her strange and often random sense of humor. Chatty but not nosy (not including what sometimes happens with her ability), if Emiko is nothing else she's a people person through and through, and is therefore very easy to make friends with since she'll never intentionally try to step on your toes; however, the problem is what happens to Emiko quite often after she makes a friend. See, Emiko has a lot of positive traits; an upbeat, energetic attitude, a love of people and a very kind nature, but she's exceedingly gullible and sometimes, far too forgiving when people have wronged her, especially someone she considers a friend to whom she will give an unhealthy number of second chances. But be warned; everyone has their breaking point, and though Emiko's is hard to cross should you ever find yourself stepping over that line, be prepared for the grudge of a lifetime and some sort of retaliation. ❖ Biography // Born in the Japanese prefecture of Osaka the youngest of four, from the very beginning Emiko was expected to be great, coming from a long line of important, influential individuals; her own family consiseted of her father, a self made millionare inventor, a violinist prodigy of a mother, two brother who worked as a model and in filmmaking, respectively, and a budding fashion designer of a sister. Unfortunately, for most of her childhood Emiko did not appear to have any gifts or special qualities like the rest of her family, though from ballet to drawing lessons they tried their best to find her hidden talent. On her tenth birthday, Emiko's family found they had to simply accept the facts; that there was simply nothing she could excell at. But it wasn't enough for Emiko, and so, knowing that her family could never turely see her on the same level until she too became important, she kept trying. And at the age of eleven, her dedication finally payed off. On a very cold December morning in her school's auditorium, Emiko auditioned for a part in the drama club's musical production; the director not only gave her the lead role but on opening night, she was discovered by a local music producer. Nobody celebrated more then her family, and there were many tears and much laughter for now, Emiko was truely part of the family she'd grown to wish to be so much like. The next few years of Emiko's life blurred into songs and production work, and at the age of thirteen, the girl group ACRO was formed; two months later, with Emiko at the helm, the band became a cultural phenomenon and three months later, Emiko was named "Songbird of Japan". But that wasn't what changed her life, not really. No, wht changed her life was a very singular experience.
That same year, on ACRO's first tour across Japan, one of Emiko's bandmates and close friends confided in the singet of uncomfortable feelings, like she was being watched with ill intent. And when an accidental brushing of hands at a cd signing had Emiko racing through unsavory thoughts from the man standing in front of her as a fan, it was pretty easy to confirm that her friend was indeed being stalked; the whole affair went public very quickly, but what scared Emiko the most was that the whole thing had happened out of her control. It wasn't like she'd wanted to know all of the man's deepest, most private thoughts, so horrible they were. Worried for their frightened daughter and sibling, Emiko's family pooled together all their influence and sent her to the best doctors and mentalists they could find. The results were....inconclusive. And so the family was forced to look at alternative options. Yumemiru was the option they deicided on, and so they sent Emiko halfway across the country to keep her safe. The truth is, Emiko is very frightened by this whole thing; her band and her family are the only things she's ever known! Hopefully this whole thing doesn't end up turning into a huge disaster.

Sadly, the only animal she can currently transform into is an Orange Tabby, and she does so at the most inopportune of times. She can't control when it happens or for how long it will occur, but it seems to coincide, at least partially, with her emotions, especially if they're negative.
❖ Personality// More of an observer then a talker; despite her attractive appearance and social connections thanks to her far more outgoing older brother, Ciara has some serious self confidence issues so she rarely ever speaks up despite the fact that she has very passionate opinions on almost any conceivable subject. A very smart girl, Ciara is capable of being either biting or exceedingly clever and witty with her choice of words; but you'd only know how interesting she can be upon getting her to talk a little bit. She's top of her class in terms of many things, but expressing her feelings with other people is not one of them; the only person she seems to rely on is her older brother Liam, and even then her distant nature puts them on shaky terms at best. A lover of literature and music, mention either one of those things and Ciara's eyes will light up; it's one of the easiest ways to start a real conversation with her, since most of the time you'll only get one or two word sentances out of her even on the best of days. And once you get her talking, try to watch what you say; unlike her easy going brother, Ciara has all the temper her Irish bakground provided her with, and that fire flares up fast and long. However, despite all her faults Ciara actually is a very nice girl, once someone gives her a little bit of direction upon how to conduct herself (her brother is always telling her she needs to smile more); helpful to a fault, Ciara tends to take on a protective, mothering instinct with those who happen to be younger to her, and if anything, her not talking much makes her a wonderful listener. ❖ Biography // Born in the heart of Ireland in a town by the name of Cavan to a free spirited painter mother and strict, disciplinary lawyer of a father, from a young age Ciara and her older brother Liam were given a very large amount of responsibility to uphold from both of their parents; Ciara's mother wanted nothing more then for her daughter to become a creative soul, and her father was quick to make Liam hit the books as soon as he was capable of reading. Unfortunately, though their parents meant well in their methods of teaching, Ciara quite hated being forced to learn to play the piano and Liam hadn't the proper attention span to read the books his father wanted (maybe it would have been different had Ciara and her brother switched roles, but unfortunately the idea was never actually thought of). But it wasn't all bad, since in terms of age, Ciara and Liam were just a year apart. He protected her when her mother attempted to force her into doing something she didn't enjoy, and when Liam decided to rebel againsty his strict tutliage Ciara stood up for him. They went through most of their milestones together; after all, their absent minded parents were always either working or painting, respectively. Even the day when they came into their magical powers occured at the same time; needless to say Ciara's parents were quite shocked when their son started crawling all over the walls and ceiling, and Ciara herself "went missing" for several days when really she was just hiding under the kitchen table, a very confused orange tabby cat. Quite obviously the idea of going to a regular school as they had been doing until the ages of ten and eleven respectively was no longer an option.
And that's when Ciara's parents found out about Yumemiru Academy; Liam, being the first to be sent off, didn't really want to go, but he was far easier to convince (by being given a new baseball glove) then Ciara, who was more then skeptical about a school for magic users (I mean really, magic?) but with Liam's promise to keep her safe and to help her integrate as best he could, she enrolled as asked to by her concerned parents. Since then, it's still been fairly difficult to fit in with the other students, and Ciara's still having some major issues with not only controlling her ability but also with opening up to other people besides her brother. And with Liam leaving after this year as a graduated senior, things really need to go better for Ciara...they really do.

❖ Problem // Back when he first entered the Academy, Liam had a very dangerous problem in that he was able to secrete fatal toxins through the pads of his fingers into the bloodstream of whoever he came into contact with and couldn't control the flow of it in the slightest. Being immune to his own poisons, Liam had no idea of what was happening until after a long, startling set of blood tests revealed just how much attention he actually needed to give the situation.
❖ Abilities // As previously stated, Liam's main ability lies in the production, storage and manipulation of toxins, much like the poison dart frog; naturally he is immune to his own poisons and any kind of poison he might ingest, and now that he has better control over his powers Liam can also control how much poison and what kind of poison he secretes through the pads of his fingers, with various intents which may range from sickness to death. Additionally, Liam is capable of scaling high walls, also with the pads of his fingers...though as it tends to freak people out when he's found hanging on the ceiling, he tries not to do it very often, no matter how much fun it is.
❖ Personality// Liam can easilly be regarded as the complete opposite of his younger sister Ciara, and with good reason; where she is hard to socialize with and seemingly not very friendly, Liam is a chatterbox and very easygoing, having no difficulties with making friends all across the board. He's much more...emotional, then Ciara is, in that he displays his feelings and thoughts quite openly without hesitance no matter who might be hanging around, and as such it's safe to say that though mot many things bother him, Liam's temper flares up much faster then his sister's (thankfully it dies off just as quickly, and all is easilly forgiven). His sense of duty is a little bit skewed and thanks to his family he really doesn't work well with authority and pressure, so don't try to rope him into any responsibilities if you have a job that needs to get done because as easily distracted as Liam tends to be, chances are he'll just forget that you asked him to do something since unless he finds something interesting or exciting he'll usually just doze off. However, despite his many glaringly obvious flaws he has a lot of good points as well; extremely protective of those he is close to, if you ever a problem you came come to Liam and he'll always be there to lend a shoulder or, in Ciara's case, oftentimes a fist. Of course, that doens't mean he's always violent; most of the time Liam takes on a very peaceful, go with the flow almost pacifist point of veiw, and his sharp as a tack ability to help others along makes him a perfect mentor for a lot of the younger students, who often go to him if they're being picked on.

❖ Biography // More or less, Liam grew up the same way as his younger sister Ciara; born in Ireland, in a small house in the town of Cavan, growing up Liam was never really given the chance to do what he wanted, and instead was instructed in the practices of law and the system of criminal justice by his lawyer father, while Ciara was unhapilly taught how to paint and play the piano. Their parents meant well and Liam knew that, but it didn't change the fact that for a long time and throughout most of their chidlhood, like his sister Liam was very unsatisfied with his parents and their refusals to listen to his wishes; thankfully though, putting aside that his mother and father were always busy and didn't seem to have muchof a hand in raising him, Liam was never compeltely alone in his endeavors. Ciara, so close to him in age, became his only ally and closest friend, and by sticking together the two managed to make it through most of their important early milestones, depending on each other; the day they discovered their magical abilities was no different. By this time Liam, having grown sick of the way his parents pushed his opinions aside, had started to rebel, and he became a real problem child everywhere he went; all he wanted to do, Liam often told Ciara, was the things he wanted. Nautrally his parents weren't happy about this, and they started fighting over the breakfast table. When a then still very small Liam proceeded to smack his father and leave the older man on the floor completely paralyzed, to which he attempted to run away by attatching himself to the ceiling, there really was no longer any avoiding the fact that things were very, very wrong.
After finally coaxing him down from the walls and finding Ciara, now a very frightened tabby cat, Liam's parents and their children managed to reach the same conclusion after a very long talk; they could no longer keep pretending things were fine, no longer send the two to a regular, run of the mill school. After poking around a little bit their parents found Yumemiru, and quickly sent Liam, the older and more developed of the two, off to learn how to get a better handle on his powers. Ciara came second, and they've been watching out for each other ever since. Liam knows Ciara is worried she'll be left alone once Liam graduates, but she'll do fine; after all, though he's never told her this, he still thinks she's the tougher of the two.

❖ Nicknames // Rate or Luke. Just Luke. Yeah, he knows there's nother Luke here, but he doesn't really care; he will not tolerate being called Lucy. Or if it bothers you, call him Regis. Hell, he'll even let you call him Rocoy. [Or just stick with Rate.]
❖ Gender // Male
❖ Nationality // Ehh...European? He can't really remember. He's a synthesized Chimera.

❖ Magic // Classic
❖ Problem // Since Rate had been 'synthesized' after he was born, spliced with mythical creatures by his father to become stronger, the magic in his body was unstable; in other words, very explosive. His power was very unstable, to put nicely; and when he released the energy he absorbed, he couldn't quite control it. His father helped reign this in by creating a seal that suppressed the majority of his powers. While currently he isn't as powerful as he would have been a couple years ago, he is certainly a lot more stable.
❖ Abilities // Rate's magic is all about molecules;his main powers are molecular combustion and temporal stasis. While in the past he wouldn't have needed to concentrate to make something explode, molecular combustion is the power power to speed up/heat molecules in an object until they lose molecular cohesion, effectively causing the object to disintegrate or explode. He can also 'feed off' of this energy, stealing its' speed and causing it to come to a complete stop (temporal stasis), release it in a different form of energy, or transfer energy from one object to another if he is in contact with both. However, most of these powers requires him to have complete concentration on what he's doing; and he can't overdo it, or his seal might be in danger of shattering. He's also got a little extra bits left over from his splicing; like his eyes, which are from a basilisk, can't quite turn people to stone, but they can cause temporary paralyzation until he looks away though it doesn't work on people who aren't scared easily.
❖ Personality// Rate is a little proud; he knows of his abilities and knows how destructive they can be without his seal. But he wouldn't go as far as to boast about them unless asked to boast about them. He can be a little temperamental as well, but he does his best to keep his cool. However, once in rage mode, everyone should step back. Random things might just start exploding. If provoked, Rate will not back down from challenges until either the opponent's half-dead, or he himself is. Stopping a raging Rate is quite dangerous, as he may just turn his anger on you. Although not a perfectionist, Rate strives to push his limit and always demands the best out of himself. He doesn't expect everyone to reach his standards, but he wants to see others doing their best. Honest to his opinions, Rate will say whatever he wants to say without restrictions. He also stubbornly clings to his opinions, and will not apologize even if his comments offended others. This does not mean he's rude, for he's usually considerate of his speech before spoken. However, this consideration is largely lost during his raging sessions. He can be nice, but he's not really good with voicing out his emotions. He also avoids eye-contact whenever possible, unless he doesn't like you; he will never look you directly in the eye, always focusing them on somewhere else.

❖ Biography // As long as he could remember, Lucyrate was raised by his father alone. His father was an extremely strict man, to the point that Rate feared his harsh trainings. However, by going through these trainings, the young Chimera was ensured to become a great fighter as he matured. Rate did not appreciate his father's cold attitude, and was not told of his father's intentions until much later, when his father protected him from a group of rouge assault. Rate's powers acted up and killed the men bullying them, but they affected his father as well. On his dying bed, his father told Rate about his mother, who had died protecting the family from a criminal homicide. His father hated himself for being so weak, which was why he wanted Rate to be strong and able to support himself. He told Rate of how he was experimented on so that he could become stronger. Afraid that Rate wouldn't be able to control his powers after he died, his father cast a seal on Rate's mother's earrings and gave it to him to seal his powers. After his father died, Rate buried him along with his mother, and was whisked away to Yumemiru Academy.

The list of the creatures he was spliced with are: Basilisk [his eyes], gazelle [the horns], bat [the wings], and Nue [his tail].
