And the child fell upon his stomach as he came from the other end of the portal. Hating all these moments in which gravity seems to want to give him the 'naughty' finger today. First the waterfalls, now vortexes of impending doom are swallowing people up. Whats ne ---.... Wait... scratch and reverse that. From the many children books Adam has read for his short life span he knows that whenever a person says the phrase 'What's Next' in a sarcastic tone which is then followed by a similar sarcastic sentence, the outcome never turns out good. Like a higher power has a button with a douche bag switch ready for any person to say it to let chaos wreak havoc upon them.
"Ouchie... my tummy..." Adam said rubbing it lightly as he looked up and saw a strange man smacking his brother rather repeatedly upon his head, "H-Hey, stop bullying my brother!" He dropped the headband he collected from Blue when he 'left' Taki and ran to attempt to push Kiyoshi away. Now... Adam has never been in scrap before and rather has never trained either. His power over his Rinnengan fluctuates rapidly and in an uncontrolled manner, and the black chakra rods that come out of his body eject only upon high emotions revolving around anger. But... most of the people in Taki have greeted Adam with open arms and smiles; with a personality like his, who wouldn't?
Though when it comes to scraps and his 'experience', the shove added with Adam's body weight would be rather insignificant; if he touched Kiyoshi at all. But Adam wanted this mean person to get away from his brother... How dare he slap him upon his head like he was a buffoon. If his father saw this... "Meanie! It is not right to push kids around! That is called child abuse and just being..." Adam thought from some other word before flicking out his tongue,"Mean!" Despite the extreme power difference between the two, Adam remarkably held no fear for the man at the point; adrenaline and outside sources and definitely give power to make people become great. Could it be because the trust he had for his father to save him from this person? His father, with the love so strong that it can be felt when he hugs him and his brothers, shows the strength in which he would protect him. That power can't be taken down lightly, specifically if it is the power coming from a Kage. Adam still didn't know the true meaning of that term but from the sounds of it, it seemed to be the top ranking that a person can hold in the shinobi hierarchy. Or could Adam be gaining his strength from somewhere else? Could it be just the passion of protecting his family or those he cared for... or just protecting? Like he did the little squirrel who he placed upon the ground before bringing himself out of immediate danger. Protecting the little creature of life meant more to him than his own and with it, it gain him strength ensure the creature was safe.
Yes... that must be it. Adam must love protecting and his brother, held even more protection. Even Yang, who he assumed would be stirring soon, would receive a lifeline of a protection from Adam, but when it comes to his brother... family... power untold seems to unlock from him. To the point that even what he was seeing with the rings of power that illustrated from his Rinnengan didn't phase his stand against this man. For once again, like the child-ish books Adam so happily reads, a bully can only be stopped when you comfort them. Hopefully the small comforting he made would cease the 'bullying' mannerisms from this man, and maybe he shall return to acting in the mature manner that he should.

Yamato looked to Adam, his heart almost melted to Adam trying to protect him, he was glad that his sibling would help him out, he loved his brother very much. He had to do the same for Adam and made his own metal rod...one with a piercing sharp end, perfect for shanking and slashing, revealing it from his sleeve and pushing Adam back, so that hes behind him with a glare, he'd take the abuse for his younger brother, he'd rather be beaten then watch Adam get hurt, he looked back to Adam and smiled, "thanks for helping me, Adam," he then turned back to Kiyoshi and held his metal rod out in front of him, in order to defend if he came close.
