I think opening an art shop would be really good. There aren't a lot of artists here on gaia, that I've seen at least, who are willing or even capable of doing full anthopomorphic art. Most of them will only go as far as neko-ish styles. That's a market on gaia that is relatively untapped and you could get quite a few clients. Something you could do for practice is open an art request thread here in the guild and draw ppls OC's or avi's. You can still charge of course, but it'll give you a safer, less judgemental enviornment to work in while you're honing your skills.

I wasn't really trying to imply that you give away your work, though that will get you clients much faster lol. If you would be willing to, I have an OC that I can't find a good pic for. I've been trying to get art done of her for years, but outragous prices have kept me from being able to afford it. It may not be much, but I can give you 5k for the art.

If you do choose to do the art for me, this is the basic description of her. I haven't had the chance to make a properly updated referance form for her, so I apalogize for it being a complete verbal description.

The pic I wish to have done is a fursona of a female White sibarian tiger. She stands about 5'10" and has dark amythist colored eyes. Her stripes aren't the usual solid black. They start black in the center, and gratiate into a dark red as the color reaches the edges. She has defined curves, but is slightly muscular form fighting for a living. Her hair is thick with lose curls, medium shade of red, and should extend to about her mid back. The character is an assassin, but is still kind in heart, so if her expression could mimic that some, that would be great. You can put what ever cloths you want on her, as long as it isn't overly girly and still make her look like she's an assassin.

Well, I'll start on Dainar Inferni's first, the reason why is because of the research and time needed to start on Nandoral's. Unfortunately I only have 5 hours left as my family decided to go camping and I have to come (Friday - Sunday) gonk So I'll get started now and finish up Monday (no school).

Well, I'll start on Dainar Inferni's first, the reason why is because of the research and time needed to start on Nandoral's. Unfortunately I only have 5 hours left as my family decided to go camping and I have to come (Friday - Sunday) gonk So I'll get started now and finish up Monday (no school).

I can try to put a referance sheet together whle you're away to make it easier on you when you get back. It should at least help some.

Sorry I haven't been on lately or posting any new work, I've been busy with school (new semester) and how I draw. After finishing Nandoral's commission I felt disappointed with myself, while she did like it, I feel I can do better. I'm currently learning new styles to draw to be better in the future. I will continue posting up work and doing commissions for now, but lets hope you guys can see the progress.
