I'd advise to give Winly more dimension. She looks kind of flat to me. It looks like she's shifting to our right, but her arm looks straight. If you're going to have her arm in that position, I would suggest showing her hand. Instead of hiding it behind her. If you want her hand behind her, then try placing the upper part of the arm over the lower. If that makes any sense.
Also, I think you should draw the grass below Winly, since it just doesn't seem to work for me to have no lines there. Perhaps if you didn't have lines in the first place it'd work, but leaving it out looks a bit too blended. At least it does to me.
Edward I'd suggest having his fingers slightly more apart on the box, instead of placing 2 fingers together.
Plus side, I like the rest of the background and the colouring. Your shading could use some work, but otherwise I still like it. The lettering and graphics on Ed's hands look great.

The original artwork, I'm not entirely sure how to comment on it. It's a line drawing, but it's not bad as an original. I hope whoever you're giving it to likes it.

Anyways the V-day card was my first time Drawing Ed and Winry. If you look later to my piece on Deviantart called Unerasable Sinners. You'll see that Ed looks Much better then he does in the V-Day Card. The same goes for Winry except I'm still working on my second attempt at Winry.

^_^; plus I sorta based her pose off memory of an SD pose that she had.
