PROFESSOR NAME ToT'er Name: Break

General Information: Break believes that both agility and endurance is the best asset for a to trick or treater to have, so with the interest of looking for potential among the students he invites you all to try his course.

The Course: Thunder Road
A rocky, uneven road built to test the students and see how they handle themselves across rough terrain. Your student must run through the entire course, up hill, and keep running without stopping. If they slow their pace or come to a complete stop, they'll be struck by lightning and it will be the end of the line for them!

Course can be ran solo or in groups.

Win - You've survived five rounds of dice rolls and crossed the finish line!
Lose - If your HP has reached zero, there is a narrow path on each side of the course. Hop off onto it and exit the room. If insta-killed, you dissipate and wake-up in Nurse Cricket's Office.

Mechanics: Roll a one 8-sided die to determine the results your student will get and make sure to adjust your HP accordingly
Each time you survive a round, repeat the above until you complete the course.

1 Insta-kill!
2 Live
3 - 10 HP
4 - 20 HP
5 Live
6 Live
7 - 20 HP
8 - 10 HP

Bonus Mechanics:
If you get a lousy roll, a Y2 or Y3 student may roll a one 6-sided die ( ONE TIME ONLY ) and attempt to evade the hit.

Y2 students must roll a 5 or 6 to evade the lightning.
Y3 students must roll an even number to evade the lightning.

- You are hit 0 HP That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

Amarus was not entirely prepared for this. Nevertheless, she was as prepared as she would ever be, so as she took off to try to complete the challenge, she managed to make it through the first round losing only a little of her health... at his rate, however, she'd never make it.

She had to beat it! For her own well-being, for her sense of strength... for honour! ...she probably was going to die relatively soon.

Okay, so the second burst of speed had gone fine as well. She'd nearly been hit-- rather severely, she suspected-- but so far, simply a little singed and ready to run. Hopefully her sense of purpose and mild fear would keep her going.

OhJackOhJackOhJackOhJack. Amarus ran, as fast as she thought she could manage, but also in a pattern which she deemed most effective. Could one actually run in an "effective" pattern on this road?

Who the hell could even survive this, anyway?

Once more, Amarus darted forward, braid coiled around one arm. She was glad Jin, Ashbel and Crow were safe at home-- and that she was, in all actuality, already dead; if she had living flesh, she could not even imagine the sheer pain that this would cause, and the restrictions of their bodies.

Not that Neil would be restricted by this, would he? Amarus prepared herself, mentally and physically, for the next stretch as best she could.

Amarus crossed the damn finish line. She suspected the only reason she had done so well was her species ability to run without touching the ground: levitating might seem like it would make running harder, but Amarus already walked along the air as if it was firm ground, and levitating had seemingly allowed her to avoid a lot of the uneven terrain.

Once Amarus made it across the finish line, she leapt into the air in one victorious gesture, then calmed herself down; the grin, however, didn't leave her face. Alright. What next? At least she had partially redeemed herself from the last fiasco.
