The Battle field is never a place for sympathy or forgiveness its a place for fighting where blood is shed and lives are lost. The battlefield is sacred to all combatants and no matter the circumstance there will always be battle and often the gods steak their claims on them to settle competitions when they can not settle them on their own. One of the most important battles in history is held in a competition known as Mortal Kombat where fighter steak their lives for their realms or for their own personal gain and often people die in these competitions however there are chances for the competition to go beyond a mere battle between good and evil. The Mortal Kombat tournament has gone beyond brutal and has gone beyond the control of the elder gods now with the various mistakes made by Raiden one of the lesser gods. Earthrealm in out of champions and the Netherrealm has all the warriors they need. The Netherrealm wasted no time in sending their strongest warriors to take control of earth realm. The elder gods had only one last option to try and stall the oncoming destruction and revealed an item of ultimate power shielded within a large pyramid. The warriors could not resist the urge and battle ensued all of them desperately trying to reach the object. The elder gods had no choice but to choose two warriors to make sure their plan worked and chose those girls from different realms. With the death of Liu Kang and Taven not being born they were to act as safeguards however the dragon king ruined their plans and took the eggs they had placed holding the two warriors. Onaga however was forced to abandon the eggs during a battle with Fujinko. They two eggs hatched and the two girls emerged already knowing their purpose. Along the way they meet two warriors locked in heated combat with the red dragon clan and aided them. In return the two unknowing warriors pledged their services to the two girls and signed themselves onto a long and bloody battle for the fate of the world but what happens from here is up to the warriors and their choices.

The two had been walking for five days straight with stop or rest trying to find their way back onto the path of the temple. To anyone this would appear to be a rather odd traveling pair a ninja and a drunken martial artist. The ninja was known as Kiryu and the martial artist was known as Goro. The two had been traveling together since the start of this simple quest to get an object sent by the Elder Gods. They knew they would be enemies later but for now they were allies. Goro continued to drink from his pouch before he stood " Boy this sure is tasty sure you don't want any?" he asked Kiryu holding out his incredibly large pouch but the ninja declined " I don't drink Goro." he said and they continued to walk though the jungle however Kiryu suddenly stopped as did Goro just a few feet it front of him. The area was quiet but there was an unnatural wind about when Kiryu elbowed the space behind him hitting something. He looked at the blood on his elbow and got into the Hapkido Fighting stance as members of the red dragon suddenly uncloaked themselves around them. Goro continued to drink however when one of the ninja ran at him he leaned forward and hit him with his knee knocking him down and knocking him out instantly. He came back up and continued to drink before stopping " This is gonna be trouble." he said and t rest of the ninja ran at him and they began to fight.

The men's exhaustion began to take a toll on them however and they began to slip up taking a few hit here and there but they kept fighting. The fight was pretty brutal as several red dragon member laid bleeding and dying on the floor while others were dismembered or just utterly broken but when the woman started firing energy blasts they sort of assumed she was an enemy. Kiryu pulled out his sword and gathered electricity on it before sending it at her as a ball.

Kiryu watched as the girl tired to pull off a rather odd move that might have been effective he had not been moving. He move under it and deflected her steel fans with his steel gauntlets and looked back at her however he was feeling weaker and much more tired "You red dragon are menaces to us!" he said "I swear I will slaughter you and your men!" he said with a dark glare " But you will die first Red Dragon Priestess! Fight!" he said and ran at her preforming a flying side kick right at her. Goro didn't think the girl was actually an enemy but he could not speak at the moment.
