My answer: Spring! The reason for my answer is, Spring has great thunderstorms. The skies are dark and dramatic, while the ground is lit up very nicely. Almost like a natural graduated neutral density filter. The foliage has an amazing light green color cast to them that just pops the image.

Have to say spring time when all the flowers are in bloom and the trees are starting to get the leaves back, and everything just sooo beautiful.
