The SRC is the industrial, economic and scientific power in the universe. Science of course being the primary focus they are at the head of many fields. One of those being weapons research and development which in turns makes their security and defense forces all that much more effective. Pioneers in plasma weapons technology and human implantation they wrote the book on human mechanical interface technology. Many of the scientists who work here started to make artificial limbs, eyes and such to repair battle damaged troopers. However they did not stop there now they have pushed ahead and made modifications that improve upon human abilities to the extent that getting volunteers for the program is easy. Optic implants that sense body heat or have built in night vision are some of the modifications made to research division troopers.

 Zeke Zeke had been spending most of the last year and a half trying to keep the weapons of the remaining planetary defenders and militia working and to make sure the auto-guns around the spaceport remained working. The infested had learned to stay out of the kill-zones around the perimeter but there were still a few places around the place that they would try to sneak in. On the upside: He got to try out his arm.

Zeke A battle group leaves. Several men come in to grab weapons. Zeke looks around and they are out of the compound before he gets out of the lab. "Oh, great. They never ask me if I wanna go."

Kenny & Zeke The pair get back to the labs and Kenny lays down on a procedure table. After some coaxing the Armor lets Kenny out and Zeke gets to work on the armor. Kenny asks " Where are the showers?" and Zeke points toward the locker room at the end of the labs, keeping his comments to himself.

Kenny & Zeke While Kenny is in the shower Zeke contacts Maine on the intercom. " Just thought I would let you know captain, our guest's armor is just out of calibration. Looks like it took a tumble. If you want you can come and check-in in about ten and it'll be all fixed."

Captain James Maine James walked in. He looked around growled. "Zeke, where are you?" Titan translated. James walked further in. He left his vector by the door and took the top half of his armor off. He tossed that on top of his rifle and crossbow. He walked down the steps and stood there.

Zeke "O'er here Captain." Zeke was standing behind a console working about seven different arms at once all of them tweaking small bits of what looked like an exploded view of the power armor that moments before was standing upright in the command center.

Captain James MaineJames walked over to where Zeke was. He looked at all the armors. He hissed at Zeke. "So our guest took a goodd fall." Titan translated. James looked at Zeke and growled. "So this is what you have been up to down here." Titan translated. James leaned against a one of the computers. He growled. "Our guest won't be able to leave. The 'Counsel' has the planet on full lock down. Evac is at a stand still so your developements will be front line." Titan translated. James looked around and didn't see where their guest was. He growled at Zeke. "Where is our guest?" Titan translated.

 KennyZeke is about to reply when Kenny comes out of the showers zipping up the last of the power-armor's jumpsuit. "What the ******** do you mean I won't be able to leave?!?"

Captain James MaineJames looked over at Kenny. He stumbled back a bit. He thought Kenny was a man the whole time. He growled and hissed at Kenny. "Maine said the defenses are stuck and we can't override the codes." Titan translated. James walked over to Kenny. He looked over her and remebered she was the one who punched. He regained focus and growled some more. "Maine said he has tried everything. Nothing is leaving or going. We are all stuck here." Titan translated. James knew Kenny would be angry. He would be too.

KennyKenny slammed a fist down onto a nearby console " Be careful!" and started swearing. "I knew that guy was gonna get me into trouble!" She looked over at Maine. "Next you're gonna tell me you ain't gonna pay me..."

Captain James MaineJames stood there. He understood anger. He hissed and growled. "Maine says with the defenses up and stuck money isn't coming in. We have no way to pay at the moment." Titan translated. James thought a bit. He hissed and growled a bit. "Maybe we can. We still have the money that we were suppose to use as economic aid." Titan translated. James wasn't sure on how much they had left. He hissed and growled. "How much is owed?" Titan translated. "Maine are you sure? We might not have enough to cover it." James nodded and growled. "How much?" Titan asked.

KennyKenny asked Zeke if he could access the armor's computer. Zeke nodded and did so. Kenny then took over at the console. She typed in a few things and a wanted poster of sorts popped on screen. There was a verification code and a bounty on it with the face of a scarred lowlife. "Galactic Authority owes me seventeen thousand for the bounty and expenses. SRC owes me another twenty four for my ship." She shifts some things and a 3-d holo-playback of a firefight and capture of the man in the poster, then a pic of his corpse obviously taken in the street where they first encountered her. "Here's proof I captured him and proof that he's dead. The bounty should be 34k but he died so it's half."
