✦ Blue eyes turtles ★★ ★ I'm a bit of an oddball to say the least. My parents a wacky, and so is my best friend. I'm crazy, loud, and outgoing. And I sure as hell don't care what people think about me. But I am a little more afraid of things then I should be. I'm curious, like a cat. Although I hate cats. I'm stubborn, and hard to handle. I don't like when people try to control me. I am my own person. I'm not very mature either. I'm childlike, and I love being free. I break rules, and I'm strong. I'm not as boy crazy as my best friend though. I have my eye on a particular boy. And when I set my mind to something, I will get it. For some reason, people like to listen to me, I'm more of a leader. People look up to me. But I don't want to be a leader.
turtles ★★ ★ I know that I'm adopted. Well, if you can count adopted as being found as a baby on a beach. I've always known I was different. For obvious reasons, and for not so obvious reasons. I hear things normal people wouldn't hear. I can smell things stronger then people can, and I can see farther. And of course, everytime I get wet, I grow a fin where my legs are, and my gills open up. Yep, you guessed it, I'm a mermaid. The ocean is my second home, I could spend forever in there if I didn't have to come home. But I do come home. Each night to my wonderful parents. Of course, I look nothing like the two of them. So people from school know I'm adopted. I've never told anyone about my secret, well except my best friend, Janelle. We've been best friends since we were little. She stuck up for me when no one else would. Everyone was making fun of my weird choice of clothing. But Janelle walked right over and told them all to get lost. Ever since then we've been wearing weird clothes together.
It's close to my eighteenth birthday, and I can't seem to get the ocean off of my mind. Every time I'm in class, I can't help but stare out the window, and daydream. I think about a boy. He's blurry, but he looks kind of like me. And his voice, it sounds so familiar. At night I dream about a castle, and people like me who need my help. I think about a wicked lady, who wants nothing but to destroy me. She's young and beautiful, yet old and wise at the same time. I am drawn to her, yet I fear her. Her voice is lovely, it captures me, entrances me. She can sing as well as I can. I don't know who she is, but I'm desperate to find out. I'm such a curious little mermaid. It always got me into trouble when I was younger.

✦ Blue turtles ★★ ★ I am a rather proud person, and I am the first to admit it. Mostly because of how I grew up confidence and pride were two values I learned quickly. Rather obviously I'm a protective person, after all I am an older older and a King so I'm protective of those I care about such as my sister and my people. My Mother was a rather romantic person and so she taught me the old ideals of keeping ones word and being loyal to those you care about. She also instilled in me the ideas of love and how a gentleman should act to a lady. Treating each woman with the utmost respect, after all I was a charming prince. Though I think that backfired a bit because now I'm a bit of a charmer and I rather enjoy the company of females. Unfortunately I am rather passionate which can be good in that if I believe in something I would stand up for it. But it also means that I'm rather hot-headed, and as such I tend to get into a few arguments and fights. I've been called the short fuse king from time to time.
turtles ★★ ★ Ever since I was born I have been raised to take over the throne. My parents obviously put a lot of pressure on me to understand every lesson and master them as well. As rulers they instilled the ideas of Family, Duty, Honor. So when my Father asked me to place my little sister on the surface I agreed and did so without question. When I returned to find my parents dead and my home destroyed. I was devastated in the matter of an hour I turned from a Prince with a happy kingdom and family to an orphan King with my only family on the surface, far from her home. Needless to say I was distraught however I pulled myself together for my kingdom. When we began fixing the kingdom I kept the statues of my parents within the palace, within the crypt. It took some time but eventually things went back to some semblance of normal. I kept an eye on my sister from afar seeing that the humans that took her in treated her well I was content to leave her with them. If only to keep her safe. But now she's about to turn eighteen and this will be a trial for her. So I want to be there with her to inform her about her heritage. Not to mention after being kept apart for seventeen years I want to meet my sister, and see what type of woman she's become.

✦ hazel turtles ★★ ★ I was a very shy and guarded child, and still am pretty cautious, but when Azura stuck up for me, it changed my whole life. Having someone like her by my side gave me the confidence I lacked. Now my parent's words don't hurt as much, and I'm more outgoing than before. Despite being Zu's shadow, I'm more 'boy crazy' than her. I prefer to call it 'hopeless romantic', as I'm not actually chasing anyone, but rather hoping that they'll chase me. As Azura is my only friend, I am absolutely loyal to her, always being where she needs me.
turtles ★★ ★ I don't remember anything of my birth parents, and my adoptive ones don't have much information on them either, so my knowledge of the people who brought me into this world is reduced to how they died. It was in a boating accident apparently. The three of us were in a row boat on the sea, when something caused it to capsize. Their bodies were never found, and I only survived because they'd managed to put me on top of the boat. It drifted back to shore, a search went on for them, but evidently, nothing was found. I was only three years old then, and adopted by a couple who were unable to have children. You'd think that I'd have been their little princess, but it was quite the opposite. They seemed to resent me, even though they took me in. They would say mean things to me every now and then, so my confidence was low. Kids at school picked on me too, because my 'parents' wouldn't get me clothes that actually fit or matched.
And then I met Azura, and there was someone in the world who actually cared. Everyone is drawn to her enigmatic personality and pretty face, and even though I've always come second best to her radiance, I'm just glad someone like her could love me.

✦ Brown turtles ★★ ★ Hunter is not a forthcoming person, in fact he is rather secretive not really trusting of other people. Hunter is mostly classified as a 'bad boy' type because of his confrontations with authority, he greatly despises those that attempt to tell him what to do. While he has that label Hunter is rather patient with certain people, more females than males. All in all he is rather content to be left alone and if forced to be in a group he prefers to watch and listen rather than speak incessantly.
turtles ★★ ★ Hunter didn't always have legs. He used to have fins, he still does when he goes into the ocean. Hunter and his family used to live in the kingdom and one day his sister fell ill. With little money his sister continued without help. Well when Hunter was younger he decided to go and find the sea witch. Hunter begged and pleaded with the woman to try and get a potion to cure his sister. Finally she relented and gave him a potion however he would have to be her servant. Of course Hunter agreed and when he gave his sister the potion she was well. All would have been fine if it hadn't been found out that Hunter had gone to the sea witch. After the sea witch had destroyed the kingdom every citizen was forbidden to see here. The punishment was severe, he was exiled never allowed to see his family again or keep in contact. Hunter left the kingdom and lived with the sea witch doing her bidding. Now he's been sent to the surface to collect a girl that the sea witch wants. Hunter doesn't want to harm the girl but he needs to get her to the sea witch else the witch may decide to no longer keep the spell working that is keeping his sister alive.
