RULES: 1) No discussion of other anime + SPAM. ---It's fine if you want to make threads to compare to Yuugiou to some other anime, but don't make a thread like, "Who likes Inuyasha?" or "Fullmetal Alchemist rocks!" ---In addition to other anime threads, other types of SPAM are also prohibited. ---All of these threads will be promptly deleted/moved, UNLESS you post in an admin/mod thread that we've created SPECIFICALLY for idle chat, OR a thread in the "Off-Topic Discussion" subforum.
2) No trolling what-so-ever. ---Trolling can get you banned from the guild. It's quite alright to have opinions on characters, you're allowed to tell people that you hate Bakura, or whatever but don't make a thread where you bash characters.
Here's an example of what trolling is: ---"YUUGI SUCKS!!! I HATE YUUGI FANS!" **The actual definition of trolling is intentionally saying something to get an angry reaction out of other people.
3) Do not ask to become a moderator. ---This will most likely decrease your chances of getting chosen. We pick mods at our leisure and when we feel we need them. Following the rules and acting as a 'role-model' for new members will likely put you on our 'future moderator' list. ---Keep in mind, if you're not a moderator don't act like one. There's a difference between letting a guild member know they've made a mistake or broken a rule and verbally crucifying them for it, not that any of the moderators here will act that way.
4) No bashing/flaming anyone. ---This means, you don't put down other member's interests. We have extreamly low tolerance for that. If someone says, "I like ___" Don't be like, "You're stupid. ___ sucks!" This is not to say that you can't share your opinion on the matter in a 'mature' way. ---If someone breaks a rule, you can kindly tell them what rule they've broken. No flaming.
5) Keep threads in their proper places. ---Make sure to check out the subforums before you post a thread. If you post in the wrong area, your thread will be moved. This won't get you in trouble, just try not to do it again. 3nodding
6) Keep over-quoting to a minimum. ---Try to cut your quotes. If you don't know how then use the following format((or something similar)) when your posts get too large: @Jajauma Hime: Hello!
7) No Scamming. ---Any type of scamming in your thread will get you banned. If you try to charge membership in your thread, that will get your thread locked.
8) Fairness in threads. ---By creating a thread, you MUST let anyone post whether you like them or not, the only exception is if they're harassing you. If that's the case, report them to a mod and they'll recieve a warning or a banning depending on what they've said/done. ---Do not tell someone to go away because they're stupid. =__=
9)Spoiler Alerts. ---Although you don't have to, it'd be nice if you could put up spoiler alerts when you feel necessary. Spoiler alerts are a signal to inform readers that you're giving away something important. For example: ---SPOILER: "In the last episode....." ---NOT A SPOILER: "Yuugi's hair is like, three different colors!" So you're allowed to discuss anything, just remember to be like, "Spoiler alert!!!" Or something along those lines to allow people to enjoy the show without giving away important details.
10) You absolutely MUST follow Gaia's T.O.S. ---I cannot stress this enough. This is one of the most important rules. ---A lot of people believe that because this is a guild, they can do as they please. This is not true. Any breaking of Gaia's T.O.S. will get you banned. ---If you're breaking Gaia's TOS here, you're putting the entire guild's existance at risk. That's disrespectful to everyone who enjoys coming here, and myself who worked hard to establish this guild.
11) No repeat threads ---Seriously, these get really annoying and only end up cluttering the guild. If you have an idea for a thread that has possibly been posted before, please check through the ENTIRE guild to make sure that thread does not already exist. This also includes repeating "official" threads. For example, there is an official thread in the TCG subforum to request others to duel you. Therefore, it is considered a repeat thread to post, anywhere in the guild, a thread specifically asking people to duel you. And also, if you have a question related to YUU*GI*OU, instead of bothering to make your own thread, you can post in the sticky for everyone's questions related to YUU*GI*OU. It will probably get answered more quickly there, and keeps the guild less cluttered. Crew members reserve the right to delete any repeat threads without warning to the original poster.
Thank you for reading! heart

"Official Threads": Please remember. The regular guild rules still apply with official threads.
You may not be aware of what an 'Official Thread' may be. Hopefully, this thread can answer all your questions about Official Threads and the rules of creation for them.
General: An "Official Thread" is a like a fanclub.
You can make them about anything Yuugiou related((characters are usually the most popular)).
Anyone can create an Official Thread, As long as it's not already been done.
Characters: If you make an official thread, it can only be for one character OR two character's relationship. Here are a few examples of what that means.
Thread One: The Official Yuugi Thread Thread Two: The Official Yami no Yuugi Thread
NOT ALLOWED: The Official Yuugi and Yami Thread ALLOWED: The Official Yuugi and Yami Yaoi/Shounen Ai Thread**
**This is different because it deals with the relationship between the characters and not both of the characters as one being.
"Anti-Character" threads will be allowed, as long as the content isn't threatening to the character's fans. For example:
ALLOWED: The Official Anti Yuugi/Yami Yaoi Thread NOT ALLOWED: The Official 'We Hate Yuugi/Yami Yaoi fans and Want them to Die' Thread"
Anti threads are NOT Bashing threads. You must be mature and support reasons as to why you're not partial to that character.
The character's name which you display in the title can be either be the dubbed or original name. It's just a matter of your preference.
Miscellaneous: Various random Yuugiou threads will also be allowed. EX: Thread One: The Sennen Item Thread Thread Two: The Sennen Puzzle Thread
Both of these will be allowed, if you for some reason wanted to make a thread solely based on an item. sweatdrop
Basics: Here's a list of things you should know before you put your time into making a thread.
Any thread that we find isn't taken seriously may be locked and/or deleted. This will be rare. An example of this will be threads where the creator can't keep up with it. Also, if the thread is about a rediculous occurance during the series. Example: "The Official Thread about the time during Yugioh where Yami duels that fake copy of Kaiba and after he wins, everyone is happy he won"
By creating an official thread, you must realize that it's your responsibility to keep the users in line. If you fail to show qualities that of a leader**, you may lose your thread.
**Leader qualities are simple things like being able to have the people in your thread to follow your example and want to cooperate with you. Mostly though, if you don't care that people are breaking your rules.
You cannot mislead guild members into clicking on your thread. This means, the titles must reflect what the contents of the thread are. Both of the following are prohibited from doing. Thread Title One: FREE GOLD Actual Thread: The Official Hiroto Honda Thread
Thread Title Two: The Official Yami Yuugi Thread Actual Thread: The Official Hiroto Honda Thread
