Base: Team Two

On the opposite end of The City lies an immense skyscraper; over 100 stories tall. It has glass windows, and is laid out like the typical skyscraper, with one exception; it goes underground ten stories. Team Two's flag is on the tenth basement floor, and all of the levels from the ground down are nearly indestructible, meaning that the stairs must be taken in order to reach the flag. Again, this makes leaving an arduous task if pursued.

Stepping lightly through the doorway, Takeo glanced around the interior of the skyscraper. Seemed pretty normal so far. He wasn't sure how high the building went, but he knew that it was damned high. Strolling through the lobby, Yudai at his side, he followed a sign pointing towards a set of stairs. Strangely enough, there was not one, but two sets. Odd. As far as he was aware, there was usually only a single set of stairs in any one building, and what made it even stranger was the fact that while one led skyward, the other descended beneath the ground. Great. Now to simply decide which was the correct way.

He considered the possibilities. If the flag was at the top, then it would certainly require quite a bit of effort to retrieve it, let alone make it up the damned stairs. However, if it was underground, it would be harder to detect and less conspicuous. Damn it, who the hell had this bright idea? Well it couldn't be helped. Walking over towards one of the corners of the room that was out of the direct sight of the doorways, he sat down, leaning back against the wall as he let out an exasperated sigh. Closing his eyes, he began to focus chakra into his hands, the air around them becoming oddly warm. He needed to first find out which set of stairs to take, and this was the fastest and safest way to ensure that he locates the flag. He'd begin with the downstairs, as it would take considerably less time to scout, as he doubted it had as many floors as the actual building did. The process of creating the cloud would take a moment, so Yudai posted himself a little ways off, crouching in the shadows, his eyes glued on the two doors leading to the stairs. While Takeo did his thing, he would keep watch, to make sure nothing caught them unawares. His ears were pricked forward, in case any sound alerted him of movement nearby, or any echoes that may reverberate from one way or another.

[[Technically, you still would have to track the long way with the two people between posts which it takes three to make it back to the base, but its fine. I would nit pick about it. Also note, clones will not be able to access the byakugan for use.]

Magnus appeared out of a burst of speed behind Takeo, Burning Fang drawn facing the three clones before him. "As I said before, I will cover you, move!!" He said as he rushed forth towards the three clones moving in a zig-zag formation releasing 4 clones behind him as they created a burst of speed for him to build up off of. Burning Fang erupted into a torrent of flame around the blade as Magnus swung it causing ripping waves of flame to completely fill the hallways destroying everything the fires touched. Being that Magnus was a Weapon Specialist and specialized in weapon jutsu, the attack flying off of the broadsword was a lot stronger than other classes. Which would make this Jounin technique the strength of a Sannin level technique. With the size of the hallway, there was no way around him to pass by to get behind him as the onslaught of slicing flames rushed towards the three clones.

Ah, well, there went the element of surprise. Odd thing was, these clones seemed to come from outside the building, rather than further in. Had they been patrolling around, and he'd simply missed them? Eh, guess it didn't matter at this point. They still needed to figure out which stairs to take, so Takeo remained seated, his eyes closed as he focused his chakra. Yudai simply inched closer, watching Magnus take on the small group of clones with interest, though he made it a point to still keep Takeo in his line of sight, lest something else decide to crash the party.

Finally summoning enough chakra around his hands, he created a small, wispy cloud from it. As it left his hands, he felt himself loose consciousness and slump slightly against the wall. Now, this little cloud was his eyes and ears, and would make it much easier to figure out which set of stairs to take, and would require a lot less cardio on his part. Luckily, it would also provide a little more stealth, as running down flights of stairs wouldn't exactly hide one's presence. The small wisp was slightly misty, and hard to see unless one looked directly at it for a moment or two.

Swiftly floating over to the stairs, he decided to pick the one that headed downstairs first, as it would take considerable less time to scout. As he quickly began surveying the first basement floor, he decided to make it a point that he wouldn't stop until he either saw someone else, or caught sight of the flag. All he needed to do was figure out whether or not the flag was located at the top or the bottom of this building. He didn't want to waste unnecessary time, as he was sure by this point, whoever was hiding out here knew that someone had arrived. Giving them too much time to form any sort of advanced plan would spell out trouble. And he didn't care much for a fight at this point in the Games, as this was only round one. He wanted to grab this damn flag, then hightail it out of this b***h.
