To be honest, Jay really had no clue what was going on at the moment. She was pretty sure she knew the gist of the current situation, but then again she was pretty ??? about it as well. The horseman of war remembered giving her distortion crystal to Death, who then used all of the collected crystals to make a wall to protect them from the giant Insanity creatures, but everything was swirling in her head. Perhaps it was just going by too quickly for her easily-distracted brain to keep up. But in the end, they had to fight, right? Fighting, Jay could do. Fighting was what she did best.
Fighting giant monsters, she figured, was best done with others. It wasn’t difficult to search out for familiar faces because they were hers and she knew just where they would be. A grinning bluejay locked arms with Iyari and Zhi respectively while her colorful wings fluttered. “Alright!” she cheered as she tugged them forward and past the walls. “Let’s kick some Titan butt!”

Fighting wasn't hard, it came naturally. Somewhere Iyari had gotten lost along the way, lost herself and lost her drive. "Insanity". The word had a deep sickening pang of loss which rose from her stomach and down into anger. Now it was back and the internal fury continued to rise. Finally it was in her corner and she had her blade prepped. She had been so focused she had let everything else slide from her mind.
And then she was yanked away from her internal monologue by a certain bluejay.
"Jaida-!" Her arm was pulled aside with a force she wasn't used to from the smaller framed horseman. There was a furrowed look until she mentioned Titans. A sly grin went across her face and she tussled her blue hair. "Well that is language I can understand."
"...Bet I get in more hits." She said, pulling her along, settling a large, bloodthirsty grin towards Zhi as well. "Should we make a bet out of it, eh?"

This was quite the odd predicament that they had found themselves in, but the Conquest horseman was never to turn down a chance to hone his archery skills and fight. He couldn't deny that he had his concerns about this fight though--decent as his skills were, he wasn't entirely sure that his arrows would be able to do much damage to a creature as large as the ones they would be up against. There was that, and the fact that--
When he felt someone link arms with him, Zhi's serious expression immediately disappeared, making way for his usual, cheerfully dumb face. At Jay's proclamation, the man grinned and flapped his free arm up and down, his excessively long sleeves whipping back and forth with the movement. "Yeah, let's do it!"
His gaze slid to Iyari then, and in reply to her bloodthirsty grin, he offered her something that was more along the lines of: (☉▽☉)/
"You're on, crazy lady!" What was a battle without a little healthy competition, after all?

Hands on her hips, Jay grinned knowingly at Iyari. “Yeah, I knew you would understand at least that much.” She grew extra excited when Zhi agreed to tag along with that. “Great! Greatgreatgreatgreat!” Now she was bouncing on the heels of her feet. Two of her favorite people! Going on patrol with her! This was great! The warrior couldn’t help but snicker at Zhi’s (temporary) name for Iyari. “He called you a crazy lady,” she snickered, leaning in toward the other war horseman.
She gasped at Iyari’s proclamation as she continued to tug the two forward, further into their patrol. “What? You get in more hits? Funny, very funny. Obviously it’s going to be me,” she insisted with a confident smirk. As if to follow through with her statement, she let go and traveled even farther into the mist until she found a looming shadow. A titan. “A bet sounds good to me!” she shouted, summoning her knife and throwing it at the creature. “Ha!” Jay screamed, pumping her fist.
