Asteria was named for the Titan mother of Hecate. She was the sixth slain by Herakles in single combat when he came for Hippolyte's girdle. Even though the Amazons knew he was invulnerable, they still chose to fight bravely, challenging him one by one [Editor's note: Just like all the bad do in X:WP and H:TLJ, they always go at the hero one at a time!]. Her name means, "Of the Sky." (She has nothing to do with any of this, just proof it's an Amazonian name.)

General Outlook to GROUPS:
Humans: They're cattle, meant to be culled and dealt with. Eventually all cattle may die, but they're merely tools. Hunters she's quite happy to see the end of. She has no sympathy to spare for any human.
Halloweeners: She sees them as ignorant in not understanding the true ways of the world. Especially those that SIDE with humans. She'd much rather teach you why the horseman outlook is right than listen to prattle otherwise. She'll be cordial with them, for the most part. Making enemies doesn't win wars. (Unless you wanted to start one.)
Horseman: She's quite cordial and respectful toward her fellow ponies. Friendly is a good word.
Strategy First: Asteria does not generally rush into things. She'd like to pick her fights and ensure she'll win them. As a whole she will usually take time to review a situation before leaping at it, a trait that often leads to success she's found.
You did... what?: She really doesn't tolerate stupid well. She'll let you know if what you did was moronic, and she'll show it whole heartedly. Honestly, don't be useless or she'll see to it you won't make things worse again.
Studious: If it's for something USEFUL she'll put her effort into it. This generally falls into what she thinks is important for war as a clan. Combat ability being very high on this list. She'll read, but she doesn't care about mathematics as much as she cares about beating you in a fight.
Diligent: She believes in hard work and the pay-off involved. If she believes in the cause she'll go at it as best she can.
Friendly: She doesn't see a reason to haaate people until proven otherwise.(Minus humans.) You're welcome to prove she shouldn't like you, but she'll give people the benefit of the doubt. She generally will greet anyone who greets her with the same until she finds a reason to like or dislike them.
Talkative: She actually likes talking. A lot. She won't prattle about nothing, but holding her tongue isn't exactly in her character either. It's not to boast, it's not to whine. It's just... if there is something to talk about she'll talk. She might even just say what she's thinking out loud. Regardless. Words. She knows them.
I trust you: She tends to put a lot of faith in her friends. Perhaps too much. Working as a unit being what she was trained for, she relies on others to get things done. As such, if she trusts you... she trusts you completely. With her life. You'd never betray her, right? This also means she might put too much weight on someones ability to accomplish something. But it likely means she can be a bit too open with secrets with those she does come to trust. Please don't spread those rumors about what she did last week with-
Not a lady: She might be pretty, but she can't cook, can't do much more than basic stitching, and she'll put her feet up on the table if she wants. She's a war horseman and they're best at fighting. She isn't going to indulge in those pretty girl thin- STOP OFFERING HER TEA!
Shaheen Why: After she meets Shaheen please never compare her chest to Shaheen's. That's just not fair. Not all war ladies are built that way. ;A; (She'll forever cry at never being able to meet the standards placed on her by their glorious Chieftan. This only applies to comparisons in WAR ponies.)
Fighting IS the answer: If you do really manage to tick her off(she tends to be level headed with a high fuse) she does see the proper response to be BEATING YOU DOWN. Hitting people and taking out anger on things is usually the final result if you actually upset her. So yes, she's a violent as any war pony deep down.
Perches: She likes high places. Trees, walls, a roof. Whatever. She likes to sit on them/in them. The ground is just... boring. This may have to do with liking vantage points, but really... she just likes the view better typically. So if you're looking for her look somewhere high up. It could also be because she misses home(land of the tree house!)
Mount Form:

[ War ] - A large cat built like a panther. It's primarily black with a slightly blue sheen(akin to her wings) on it. Also it's ears and tail fade to a snowy white.
Weapon Form: A short dagger, best for quick combat and sharp movements. It is a simple thing with a leather bound hilt and a single aquamarine gem at the end. The blade itself is silvery in color and otherwise has no further markings. It's slightly curved toward the tip.

Quick Flurry: Swift Strikes
Several quick attacks at the enemy with as much speed as she can muster. As such they may not be deep, but enough will make it sting.
