Natural Ability: Color changing skin. In stories it is said that the Afanc can turn invisible, but that's a little OP. Instead he can change the color of his skin to better blend into his environment. A full grown Afanc can control this as well as chameleon. A younger one can usually only go lighter or darker in color until they can better control it.
Personality:
Mellow Dramatic-
Jory tends to over react to things and can be pretty pessimistic. He has a hard time seeing the silver lining in things, and the smallest set backs have a way of ruining bringing down his mood or riling him up. He tends to hold a low or untouchable opinion of people until proven otherwise, and he over thinks situations.
Clingy-
When Jory manages to get past his initial shyness and wariness of people he can get very attached. Like a lost puppy he'll follow them around and invade their personal space. He prefers to stay in the company of others when possible, despite the fact it takes him a little while to warm up to people.
Loyal-
This goes hand in hand with his tendency to be clingy. Once he's gotten himself attached to someone he is very loyal to them. He'll never speak ill of them, and if anyone else tried he'd just ignore them. He'll help a friend with their homework, or learn to swim, and he'd gladly offer more if he had any notable skills he thought would be helpful.
Forgiving-
Jory is quick to forgive his friends. He doesn't like strife, and if ever he gets himself into a confrontation he's the first to back down and try to smooth things over. He doesn't like being mad at people he likes, or in general. It'll take something extreme for the Afanc to simply not over look it.
Skittish-
Nervous afanc is nervous. He doesn't like high stress situations, and he'll either fall into a full blown panic attack when things get really bad, or he'll shut down and freeze up. He's wary of new people, and he's not usually the sort to initiate conversations if he doesn't know you well or at all.
Handy-
Jor doesn't have a lot of useful skills, but he is pretty good working with his hands. He likes puzzles, and he's always enjoyed putting things together or building things. He likes to make jewelry, though he's not quick to share that information and usual the pieces he makes get tossed into a box in his closet, though occasionally he'll give them away as gifts.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? It's about time he stopped moping under rocks and did something with his life! He also needs to get out more and socialize, and he'll get plenty of opportunities to do that at school.
FEAR Ability: Tainted Fang - Jory's bite has a lasting burn effect if he manages to break the skin.
