Name: Elias Ludwig Leverenz Nicknames: Lutz (pronounced “loots”, comes from his middle name) Gender: Male Age: 18 years old
Faction: Undead Race: Corpse Marionette -- A human corpse that has been preserved through plastination and altered to become a marionette
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Shortly after he was revived by a necromancer, Lutz found himself banished to Halloween with absolutely no memory of his former life...or anything, really. After some blind wandering around a few days, a sympathetic Halloween citizen told him some guesswork about what probably happened to him (the fact he was probably abruptly revived by someone and abandoned), before pointing him in the direction of Amityville. After some consideration, Lutz decided to sign up for enrollment in hopes of educating himself about his new home.
Personality: Upon first impression, Lutz comes off as a rather well-mannered and polite--if not stiff--individual. However, while he is outwardly quite pleasant, one can rest assured that they're being judged whenever they're in his presence. Although he will not outright say it, Lutz is a rather vain individual, frequently comparing himself with others on all attributes. Most of the time, he likes to think that he ranks higher in most (if not all) of these comparisons as well, which only proves to further boost his ego. Needless to say, he has a bit of a superiority complex, and will become rather defensive if someone tries to challenge his claims.
His cool, distant politeness tends to disappear with people whom he feels familiar with or close to. In such cases, he's a little more comfortable with being who he is...which is a snarky, sarcastic individual who tends to be very, very blunt with his feelings. However, his bluntness is not necessarily all bad--although it would be good for him to learn some tact, he's willing to say things that others may be afraid of mentioning. If he feels like someone has stepped out of line, he'll be more than willing to confront them and point out what they've done wrong, regardless of who they are (be they stranger or a close friend, though he may take a little more care in latter case). Sometimes this is a good thing, since he can be quite perceptive and spot things that others may not see, but other times...well, it just comes off as him being an a**.
Although it may be somewhat difficult to befriend him--or rather, for some, somewhat difficult to tolerate him--those who do manage to get close will find that they've made a loyal friend. Put simply, Lutz is the friend who will grumble and complain loudly if you call him in the night asking for a ride, but will already be out of bed and out the door without a second thought. He's not the type who likes having a ton of friends, but prefers to have only a small circle of people that he really trusts. These are the few who really get to see more of Lutz's softer side, though future friends beware: he's a very possessive person of those who he feels are "his" ("his" friends, "his" family, etc), and sometimes finds himself irrationally jealous about the stupidest or smallest things. Those who are the cause of his jealousy may find themselves treated coldly, while those who he feels jealous towards may be treated with hostility.
Despite the fact he doesn't seem very attentive in class, Lutz is, in reality, an extremely hard worker. When he isn't writing, reading mystery novels, or checking out the latest movies, he's...studying. Always studying. He just likes to make it look as if he's breezing through with minimal work. He's ambitious about his goals and will put in whatever effort necessary to reach them.
