Name: Xyratis Pazuzukin Nicknames: Xyra Gender: Female Age: Looks to be about 17 years old.
Faction: Demon Race: Tiefling
Physical Description: Eye Colour: pure gold Hair Colour/Style: slightly curled light purple hair that stops at her shoulders. She also has side swept bangs. Skin Colour: dark tan, with dark freckles along her cheeks and shoulders. Clothing Style/Colours: punk style, alot of black, red, and dark purple. Extra: Horns that protrude from her forehead. She keeps this hidden with her bangs. And a long spiked tail.
Personality: Realistic: Xyra isn’t one to allow herself to have flights of fancy. Ever the realist, she tries to frame her views in the reality of a situation. This can have the unfortunate effect of making her a bit pragmatic to both good and bad situations. A practical girl, she’ll tend to seek in-the-box solutions to problems, before looking for unconventional solutions.
Strong-Willed: Xyra does not tend to give up easily. She has a strong will and she often exerts it to get her way. When she feels like her grasp on a situation might be slipping, she has a habit of digging in her heels to keep herself from being pushed around. She’s not afraid to butt heads with others either – if she feels the situation calls for it.
Cautious: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure in Xyra’s mind. Rarely does Xyra ever embark on an endeavor without a plan b or something to fall back on if her initial plan fails. This caution extends into her social life as well, as she is often very careful with her choice of words in the hope of avoiding offending others.
Modest: Not really a glory-hound, Xyra isn’t one to accept compliments or applause, even if it is well deserved. Very modest, she tends to avoid the limelight when possible and work from behind the scenes in order to achieve her goals. She doesn’t need accolades or praise in order to feel good about herself or her accomplishments – the fact that she knows she succeeded is reward enough for her.
Shy: Almost always the wallflower, Xyra tends to keep to the edge of social situations. Not one to approach others, she also tends to shy away from contact out of fear of offending others by a misplaced word or gesture. Of course, this can have the habit of offending people or possibly making them think that she is snubbing them – which will only make her fade into the background even more.
Spoiled: Xyra is used to having nice things – and getting what she wants. When things don’t go her way she tends to lose her temper – one of the few things that can break her out of her shell and cause her to become loud and pushy. When she wants something – she will go out of her way to get it, even if it means stepping on toes. She is of course, mortified if people witness one of her outbursts, often leaving a situation almost immediately if she’s caught making a scene by someone she knows or holds esteem for. She might take a few days of leaving said witness alone before approaching them and apologizing for her lack of conduct – if only to save face.
Sarcastic: Xyra’s natural defense against social contact is sarcasm. She doesn’t really mean to sound like she is mocking people, or rolling her eyes at them under her breath – it’s just how she copes with having to talk to people. It’s another layer of armor on an already rather thick shell.
Stubborn: The words failure or give up are not often found in Xyra’s dictionary. She often tends to stay the course even if the reality of the situation starts to indicate that it’s a bad move. If she is going after something she wants, she will dig in and exhaust all possible plans and actions before she even remotely thinks about giving up. Even then, it’s a long battle to get her to let things go.

Natural Ability: Heat Resistance: Tieflings aren’t really bothered by high temperatures, they can still feel the heat but it doesn’t really get to them like it would others. This doesn’t mean they have an innate resistance to things that cause heat. Fire and other hot things will still cause physical damage even if their heat isn’t a bother.
FEAR Ability:
Infernal Wrath (Y1): [Battle Cry] Xyra charges up her fire and throws a blast of it at her target.
Infernal Wrath (Y2): [Battle Cry] Xyra charges up her fire and throws a blast of it at her target.
Infernal Wrath (Y3): [Gambler’s Chance] Xyra throws a blast of fire at her target, but the back draft burns her arms in the process.

Tiefling – One of the older races of demons, they are very traditional. Known for being very specific in their contracts, Tieflings can be considered some of the more “honest” demons out there. They cultivate this rumor of honesty in the hopes of driving more contracts their way. They often work with other demons as brokers for deals. Little is known about their culture outside of their race because they are very secretive and isolated when it comes to giving away personal information. They are slow to trust others, especially other demons, but that’s not to say that alliances and friendships between Tieflings and different demon races don’t happen.
Homeland: Tieflings are found all over Halloween, though they tend to favor their homeland, which is a large city that sprang up thousands of years ago. Surrounded by a high wall with very limited entry points, getting into the Tiefling’s home city can be quite expensive. Tieflings as a whole are very secretive creatures, and their secrets don’t come cheap. Though, lately there has been a large influx of Tieflings moving out into the larger area of Halloween.
Ecology: Little is known about the interior of the Tiefling’s home city. What little is known has been gleaned from those who visited there after enacting very extensive and binding contracts with the Tieflings. Even then, they were very rarely allowed deep into the city. The city is built in seven rings, with the most powerful Tieflings living in the center. This is where Lord Asmodeus, King of the Tieflings, and his more notable vassals reside. The sixth ring houses the lesser nobles and more wealthy merchants. The fifth houses the artists and is also the garrison for the Boogeymen and Trick-or-Treaters that reside in the city. The fourth ring houses the city’s middle class workers – lesser merchants and the like. The third and second rings house the lower class Tiefling, while the first ring is the only ring that is freely open to non-Tieflings. Beyond these facts, little else is known about the make-up of the Tiefling’s home city.
Culture: Tieflings are secretive by nature, they have a natural wariness and distrust of other races, even other demons. They are an older race, and very traditional. They are also some of the more “honest” demons out there. Their contracts are very well written, often devoid of the usual loopholes. They often offer their services as deal brokers for other demons who desire a third party to oversee their contracts to ensure that it’s on the up-and-up. They are loathe to offer their services to anyone other than other demons, but if a creature has the money, they’ll accept a job. Tieflings rarely turn down money if there is enough of it. They desire power and wealth, because they feel that is what marks them as respectable demons. They love ornate things and often live in ostentatious mansions, showing off their wealth as best they can. Their culture views social standing as one of the most important traits one can have – to fraternize, or worse, fall in love and marry someone outside of a high-ranking bloodline is a sure way to lose face in Tiefling society. Arranged marriages are common between Tiefling families in the hope of propelling their children up the social ladder.
Tiefling bloodlines: Tieflings all trace their lineage back to Lord Asmodeus, who many consider to be the first Tiefling in existence. It is unknown if the current Lord Asmodeus is the same as the very first Tiefling (and thus older than all-get-out) or if he is a direct descendant, but the closer a Tiefling can tie their own family tree to that of Asmodeus, the higher their social standing. Many parents will arrange marriages to ensure that their children move “up” in the chain, trying to secure them a closer connection to the original Asmodian bloodline.
Relations with other races: Being traditional demons, Tieflings do not get along well with monsters at all. They view them as – well – stupid. They upcharge them heinously when they do business with them, often charging upwards of four to five times their usual fee. It is the general feeling of most Tieflings that if monsters were to fall off the face of Halloween that the entire world would be better for it. They fare far better with undead and ghosts, but will still charge them twice their usual fee. They are actually quite fond of Reapers, many taking them on as associates or offering them work outside of the city. Reapers are the only non-demon race that doesn’t get hit with an upcharge for a Tiefling’s services. Tieflings get along alright with other demons – but they tend to keep them at arm’s length. That’s not to say that firm friendships (and the very rare intermarriage) don’t occur, they’re just not overly common unless that Tiefling’s bloodline has been outside of their home city for some time. Tieflings that chose to leave the home city usually do so because their bloodline is so diluted away from the pure Asmodian that they are seeking a huge pay-off to pay their way back into the city.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Xyra enrolled at Amityville because she was chosen to follow in her father's footsteps and run the family business. Her father wanted to ensure she received a premium education and so sent her to Amityville, where he knew she could receive the knowledge she needs to successfully take over after he decides to retire. While she's not completely keen on this, she's more than willing to take the opportunity to expand her horizons and get out of the thumb of her tradition heavy family. She's personally hoping to get to meet all kinds of creatures she normally didn't get to interact with in her very traditional family circle.
Hobbies: Archery: Xyra uses archery to help clear her head when she has a problem to focus on. Being able to just empty her mind and focus only on the target helps her when it comes to solving problems – big or small. She’s not a bad shot either.
Meditating: Xyra meditates often to keep her mind clear of anything big going on in her life. If she’s having a crisis, she likes to meditate on it. Meditation also helps keep her focused on any tasks she might have going on.
