On a beautiful Sunday mid-morning, there was a 19-year-old rugged and wildly handsome young man on the bank of a river gazing at the waters moving peacefully. He was near a beautiful meadow with all colors of poppies, trees, and other wild flowers. It is a peaceful place where he usually comes to clear his head. He has medium dark brown hair that barely touches the top of his shoulders, green eyes, and his summer shorts adorned his tanned body. His mind was filled with thoughts about a young lady that had caught his fancy. He picked up a smooth and slightly flat pebble, leaned over to the side and slung it across the waters and watched it skip seven times. He was not impressed at his skill as he kept thinking back on the young lady's darling light honey locks of waves that brushed down below her shoulders and into the small of her back of her slim and fit body. He was day dreaming about twirling the wavy locks with his long slender fingers and gazing into her sparkling hazel eyes. He remembered her wearing a red ribbon in her hair that tied back those wavy locks away from her face while they danced last Saturday night. He would twirl the tattered ends with his fingers while the two of them danced into the night. Of course it was going wonderful as she shared the same affection towards the young man. His name is Dominic which means, dependable, solid, practical, hard-working, industrious, and studious. The sassy and pretty young lady is 17-years-old and her name is Sage which means, freedom-loving, adventurous, adaptable, intellectual, easygoing, progressive, and sensual. There is an old saying, that the name given to a baby usually describes the person and whether or not it is really true, it does appear to be true for these two young people.
What happened next? Do these two ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after? Do other people or circumstances enter into the story to cause chaos?
It's your task to continue the storyline! I know there are talented writers here and this game is to challenge your inner creativity! In your post, I would like for you to post a sentence or a small paragraph of how you think this story will go. When doing so, please also play the game described below to work towards prizes.
In your post, let the Random Number Generator pick a number from 1 to 10.
(If you forget generating a number, just repost your paragraph and do not delete posts.)
Some numbers will give you a prize, others will not... We can't give you the winning numbers until the game ends, to prevent cheating.
There will be gold prizes and many high trigger fish to win!
The gold prizes will vary from 100,000 to 1,000,000 (depending on the number of contestants)
Many high trigger fish to win: Outlaw Wolves, Lightning Bugs, Grunny Subs, Walkers, Alpha Grams, Laceback Galoshes, Feathered Coatls, Kokeshi Collectibles, Airsharks, Bladed Vases
Rating: PG-13
After this game is set up and ready to go, you may post, generate a random number, and can update once you have your place in line. (rules on time limits below)
Please post 'Waiting' or 'Editing' first and generate a random number from 1 to 10. Then edit your post... This is to prevent people posting a storyline update at the same moment, resulting in storyline errors...
This way everyone knows when it's their turn to write a paragraph!
Another person can post, generate a random number, and get their post in line but has to wait until the poster before them has post their part of the story before editing their own post.
If someone doesn't update their post within a 20-minute time-period, then their post holding a spot is no longer availabe for the story or the game. Twenty minutes should give someone enough time to post their part of the story. After 20 minutes, then the next person in line can post their part of the story. Trying to be fair.
What if there aren't any posts by others can you post again and continue the story? After a 5-minute wait, yes, as the 5-minutes should be enough time for someone to post and roll to grab a spot to update their part of the story.
Follow all the rules of Gaia and this guild. Please keep this fun, respectful, and play nice.
Thank You! And good luck winning prizes!
