- SPECIE:: Lock Lady xxxxxCommon Desc: Many believe that they are tied to bodies of water, like their cousins the naiads, which they encourage by usually wearing some sort of hollowed jewelry with water in it when ever they leave the water they are 'tied' to. They like to promise enchantments to others in return for favors. They are known to drown people that turn down their offers should they be strong enough. xxxxxNatural Ability: xxxxxxxxxx • Watery Enchantment: They use water to temporarily enchant an object, usually a weapon for a small about of time to make it a bit stronger. The enchantments are less versatile then ones made by Sorcerers/Sorceress's as they only strengthen the object.
There have been many Loch Ladies in lore, though mainly they are in the Arthurian legends under the title of Lady of the Lake. Whether the specie picked up the title as an alternate name after said lore or before is unknown. As a species they tend to attempt convincing others to do as they wish for enchantments in return. The enchantments are only temporary and limited as they only strengthen the object enchanted. Should a Lady's offer be turned down there is a good chance that they will attempt to drown the person that told them no provided the Lady believes she is strong enough.
They live with in bodies of water, being aquatic in nature, usually in small family groups unless the body of water is deemed too small for multiple Lady's. The strongest and wisest in the family group, no matter the age or place in the family tree, is the one who makes the final decisions in everything that concerns the family group. While the species name is Loch Lady, there are males in the species as well, they tend to be less powerful though still as wise then the females and go by a sub name of Loch Knight.
HP: 30/30 Attack: 2d6 -6 Defense: 1d4 Fear: Can only use one T1-level Fear once per battle, can only use two learned abilities per battle.
FEAR Ability: The Chill Healing Blade: Meara surrounds one hand in water in the shape of a dagger then 'stabs' her target with it so the water is absorbed and the target healed.
LEARNED ABILITY: Sweet Sinnamon By the infusion of evilly delicious spices, you student can now outside of battle, make any food they touch palatable and vaguely taste like there is a bit of a sweet kick to it. In battle they just smell good. Which is nice if they start to get a bit sweaty I suppose.
LEARNED ABILITY: Beginner First Aid Battle Effect: Once per battle, a player may choose to roll a 4-sided dice. This is the amount that the player heals themselves or another target for. You forfeit your normal battle attack turn if you want to use this attack. Non-battle Effect: A character can heal small wounds or cuts of other players or themselves, and know how to do basic stitching.
LEARNED ABILITY: Beginner Speed Boost Battle Effect: Once per battle, a player may choose to roll a 4-sided dice. Their accuracy is raised +1 for the next rolled amount of turns. For example, if I state this used effect and roll a 4, for the next 4 turns, my damage calculated is now -5 instead of -6. You forfeit your normal battle attack turn if you want to use this attack. Non-battle Effect: A character can obtain a small speed boost/ speed surge to seemingly "teleport" a foot, but it can only be used once without them getting super tired.
