Hello, welcome to another ORP!

Here's what's up:
- This RP is for Rockets only.
- It takes place in one of the training rooms of the Ambergris hideout.
- This is going to be a karate class! It will be run by Agent Aulus, assisted by Agent Jerome and Agent Tambery - he has been teaching both of them individually for about two years. Aulus is a 4th dan, he has been doing karate since he was seven.
- This class is a regular thing, it takes places on Tuesday nights and Thursday nights starting at about 7pm. This particular class is on a Thursday.
- People don't have to come to every class by any means, it's an optional thing that people can attend when they have time and when they feel like it. If you would like your character to have been to some before, hit me up in the TRHQ chat or by PM to chat!
- Everyone should know to come in comfortable loose fitting clothing but nothing that's going to fall off them when they start work!
- Also bring a bottle of water or a sports drink; Aulus is not providing half time juice and orange slices.
- The RP will start with people arriving for the class and at that point will be open to all Rockets who wish to join! This stage will last until Friday 25th. At that point the class will begin properly and if you want to join after that please give me a poke by PM or in the chat, we can work in your character arriving late.

Guideline type things:
- If somebody you were interacting with vanishes for more than 24 hours feel free to move on and interact with others, getting stuck in limbo because another player got unexpectedly busy sucks!
- If you do get busy don't feel bad, and do feel free to jump back in if you then get less busy.
- As always be realistic and be a good sport. <3
- If you have any questions please do ask!

Aulus was there early; given it was his damn class it would be a bit of a sad outlook if he wasn't.

He started off by setting out the huge square of thin mats that they would be working on; the hard floor was no good for practising throws on, though if anyone got cocky he might just use them to demonstrate some techniques off the mats. There were no mats out in the real world after all, unless you happened to get into a fight in the testing room of a mat factory of course and Aulus didn't rate the chances of that happening very often. Not more than once, certainly. He'd changed into his short-sleeved white gi (and black belt with its four red bands at each end, of course) before coming down of course so he didn't need to mess around with that, but kicked off his sandals under on of the rows of benches set against one wall once the mats were ready.

With that done there was nothing much else to do but warm up and wait for the class to turn up; he was expecting both Jerome and Tam to be along tonight to help him out as well which was good, it got a bit hectic trying to keep up with everyone otherwise if there was a big turn out.

After glancing at the clock - it read 18:40 - Aulus started his stretches.

There was, thankfully, a lot more science to do these days than there had been for her, for a while; she supposed she could thank Agent Rank, and a certain 'new base' situation for that, but she still had plenty of time to join Aulus for the class. Not that she'd not have tried to make time even if not; Tambrey rather enjoyed the idea that she was getting better at fighting.
Sure she still wasn't totally confident she could beat a lot of people, but two years had left her quite some way from being entirely helpless and hopeless in combat; she was confident enough that she could defend herself adequately, at least, and she was keen to help out.

She wandered in with a smile, having changed and put in contacts rather than try to practice in her glasses, moving over with an easy wave, to kick off her own shoes and join Aulus in stretching.

"Hello! I'm not late am I? You seem to have, um, already set up..."

"Tam, hi," Aulus looked up from a quad stretch with a brief smile. "Na, you're early, I wanted to be set up in plenty of time. Been getting a few people turn up early the last few sessions - other than you and Jerome - so I wanted to have everything ready so people can start warming up when they arrive.

"Anything fascinating happen to you today?" he asked as he switched legs; smalltalk wasn't exactly his forte even with people like Tam who he counted as friends but basic enquiries like that he was at least getting better at. Amazing what actually socialising with people on a long term basis could do for even the spikiest of bastards, wasn't it?

"s**t Aulus." The slow rough drawl of an individual who was not adept to fine speech spoke from the room's entrance, the dark skinned figure drawing up through the doorway and toward his two fellow agents, but not without a pause and glance around the room.
"Though we was gonna help ya set th's**t up man, ya got this down like an art form by now."

Jerome meandered over to the others, tossing a water bottle to the side for later. He was in his usual work out clothes, he didn't have anything as fancy as a Gi like Aulus, but a shirt and some comfortable pants had served him through most of his life, and the last couple of years of training he had picked up with Tambrey and Jerome.
His dreads were tied back to keep them out of the way, and he made sure to remove his shoes before rolling head over heels onto the mats to join the two.

"Eh, I had the time, and I suppose I have got pretty efficient at it," Aulus replied with another smile for another appearing friend. "If I'd needed help, or felt lazy, I could always have got Char to help out." He'd left the team in their pokeballs in a little bag next to his waterbottle, close by enough for him to feel relaxed but not out where they might get in the way or distract people. Or bite, in some cases.

"Doing alright today?" he added to Jerome, moving on to stretching out his hamstrings.

"Nothing incredible... Um. Well, unless, you really really want to hear about bio-technological processes and cloning practises." She grinned, and turned to offer a raise of a wave toward Jerome as he arrived.
"More or less what I was thinking."

Jerome was never alone, as would be evident as two long pointed purple ears and the top of a half glowing head poked out of the man's shadow, but did little else then stare at the small gathering of humans as Jerome joined them in stretching.

"a'ight" He replied to Aulus. "Heard some mess went down with m'boy Kyle." Jerome noted, sinking into a stretch himself to follow Aulus' lead.

Glancing over at Tambrey as she spoke about some bio something or rather project. not that he would ever understand anyway. "S'the one with th'pokemon fer new HQ yeah?"

"Oh he's your problem?" Aulus paused to snicker at his friend's ill fortune. "You poor b*****d. He is a right little tit isn't he? So far up his own arse he's practically inside out.

"And you can tell me Tam but my eyes will probably glaze over a bit at the details of exactly how you do it," he admitted to the small woman with a wry smile and a shrug. "Hayes tries to give me the nitty gritty on his coding projects sometimes, he usually ends up using his transformons figures to try to illustrate principles to me." Not only did he doubt he would get the complex biological stuff that went on - he just didn't have the grounding in the field - he didn't really want to know what went on in the labs. He trusted Tam not to be involved in anything cruel but the whole department gave him the creeps regardless.

Tambrey nodded understandingly. There was a lot of stuff that went over her head when it wasn't genetic and/or biological in nature.
"Transformomon figures? That's... That's not a bad idea." It had sparked some idea in her mind, though perhaps thankfully she didn't elaborate.

She didn't know who 'Kyle' was, but kept an ear tuned to the conversation; the agent wasn't much for gossip, but it was a good idea to keep information in mind, no matter who it turned out to be about, she'd found.

"What? Like tha' kids show?" Jerome asked, having heard about Transformon as a think that used to be popular when he was in school... briefly. "Transformon"

Jerome grinned, shook his head and relaxed a bit from the stretch he was doing, running a hand over the shaved side of his head "Ah- ain't so bad, does s'job without a fuss, but ye, brotha' get s'n more trouble then th'others."
Jerome gesture to Aulus and slipped back into the stretches "M'havin' em come t'night."

"That's the one," Aulus nodded to his friends, "he's got hundreds of the buggers, I swear. Well not quite hundreds but lots of them anyway. It kind of helps to have something physical to look at along with an explanation, helps me at any rate.... He is coming then?" Aulus grinned, straightening up as he'd more or less finished his stretches. "I did invite him along, after kicking his arse and finally extracting an apology from him. He knew who I was, apparently, it was quite satisfying to see him go from surly and stubborn to bricking it in the space of a few seconds."

Justice, so far as Aulus was concerned, had been done. Maybe it would be done a few more times if Kyle showed up! He generally did need 'volunteers' to demonstrate on.

"Glad to hear he's at least good enough at his job," he added after a moment, he wouldn't like to think of Jerome stuck with an incompetent wanker for an underling.

Zacharie fidgeted just in the doorway of the training room, his fingers wound tight into the red wife beater he was wearing. "...Hello." He greeted as he took a timid step into the room. His pale eyes darted between the three Agents casually stretching on the floor before settling on Jerome. It was much easier to talk to someone he already knew. "I'm not late am I?" He asked as he all but sprinted over to Jerome so he wouldn't be standing like an idiot all by himself.

Though he wasn't entirely sure about sitting on the mats.

"...Have these been sterilized?" He asked, nudging the mats with the toe of his trainers skeptically. "Klebsiella, E. Coli, Stphylococcus Aureus, among others things, are easily transmitted through shared equipment such as training mats and I'm not too keen on contracting any of that..." His eyes flickered over to Jerome, then to the other two agents, before dropping back down to the mat. "You know, I think it might just be safer for my health if I did not participate." With that, he turned on his heel to make a hasty retreat back to the safety of his room and experiments.

Tambrey continued to stretch quietly, though smiled at the thought of Hayes having hundreds of Transformomon toys; that just seemed appropriate somehow.

She grinned, though, at Zacharie's entrance, deciding immediately that she liked him, despite the fear of things.
"Well, we haven't died yet and we're not really a stranger to these."

Not having much else to do with his free time now that his off-base privileges had been revoked, Grunt Nakura eventually decided to attend the class. He still hadn't liked how he'd left off with Aulus the last few times they'd met (...first with the nickname 'Knackura', then with the scarred man accusing his partner of messing with his partner...) and was determined to show he could at least do something right if he so chose; particularly when it came to physical training.

This was bound to be more interesting than training pokemon, anyway, which was what he'd been spending the majority of his time doing when he wasn't carrying out grunt tasks like cleaning and errand-running. Agent Tambrey and Agent Jerome were going to be assisting people. Unable to really practice his parkour skills, this would have to substitute in regards to keeping his body limber and active until he was allowed to go into the city again.

In addition, Agent Faleen was likely to see his involvement in the class as a good thing, which would perhaps allow her partner to win her favor. Though Nakura usually preferred talking his way out of tight spots or simply running away, who knew? Maybe this martial arts self-defense stuff would even come in handy some day. First, though...he wanted to try something.

Walking in without a word, the serious-faced grunt in standard uniform paused to take in the room and its occupants. If grunts had been advised against wearing standard uniform, he must have either not gotten the memo or not cared enough to change. He then proceeded to walk over to a wall where he set down a water bottle in his hand, took off his hat to hang on the bottle, removed his shoes to keep neatly alongside his other belongings. Those safely taken care of, he was about to go to a mat of his own before he noticed Zacharie enter.

When the younger grunt commented about not participating, Nakura sneered as if mocking him, but didn't say nor do anything to stop the teenager from leaving. Instead, he went to section away from the agents, but close enough he could still watch what they were doing and attempt to follow their lead.
