Not easy to miss,too many announcements in the header!

I dunno,boredom mixed with a wish for a opt out for announcements.

You can use third party scripts to essentially disable them.
Click!
Or you can let it build up to 10 and stop clicking, 10 is the ceiling on them now. (Even though they push 12+ every single day. Literally.)
You'll miss out on event announcements and gold shop updates, though.
