The sun peeked though the heavens as the wind picked up over the flowers in full bloom. It was gentle enough for the youth as he made his way down the paven paths. The scent of water lilies carried in the air and he took it in. There was nothing more relaxing to him than a stroll through such magnificence. As he sat upon a nearby bench, he couldn't help but smile as such peace came over him. He closed his eyes momentarily feeling the sun kiss his face as he took in a deep breath of fresh air. It was what he looked for in this violent-stricken world and he absorbed as much as he could. Slowly, he positioned himself and began to meditate. Creating his center and channeling his chakra though his body gently and evenly. He had always been the type to embrace peace and beauty.

Step, he told himself. He recited the word in his mind over and over until it was commonplace. It was a rhythm. Every 0.267 seconds, he would step. Over time he memorized the rhythm perfectly, balancing his body to it. It was a form of training, so that he could move faster without falling all over himself; it was training his balance. More important than that, it suited another desire, one more distinct to him. Kleine enjoyed the familiarity of the rhythm, it was something to think about to keep his mind from other topics that were unwanted at the moment. Like what he'd be doing tonight, who he'd be doing or who he'd be hunting. It was a constant dance between violence, debauchery and that one metronome in his head: the rhythm. Step, step, step.

He preferred the metronome over the blood and the sex, in the morning. The evening removed his hesitation regarding such things. A different him awakened, not an alternative persona but just one fueled by desires that clung to humility while the sun still reigned.

As he walked, he made his way upon the botanical gardens. Perhaps this place would bring him something interesting, or someone. He had not had the time to explore the more luxurious places of his home village, always battling for power or supremacy in one field or another. Right now, he was in that sort of mood that wanted to explore and venture into new fields. Not literally, of course. "Welcome to the botanical gardens!" A lady spoke. The voice was so loud and deafening, and his eyes dare not wander to her. He simply handed her a ticket, one he'd just bought from some machine only a few seconds prior. It was to allow him in, to this garden funded quite clearly by some sort of nag and her extortion.

He did not see many people, and fewer still of interest. But he did see one, a shinobi quite clearly, you could always tell. He was meditating. He had a distinct hair color, some dark, some light. He almost seemed sort of strange because of that, but Kleine didn't mind strange. He embraced it.

He stepped forward to the boy, and offered only a few words to get something going. It wasn't as if he had a reason for coming over to him, so he would not pry into uncertainty by overstaying his welcome. Though he didn't really care if he seemed precipitous or not. "Good morning," he started. "Searching for the spiritual world? Or are you meditating simply for the sake of it?" He smiled rather faintly, and took a seat next to the other male. "Kleine," he held out a hand for a shake. "If you'd like, perhaps we can search for spirits together," he laughed. "I've never tried meditation before."

The youth stood still, feeling the energy move from his front to his side. He listened to the man's words and the tone he took. He seemed like a kindred spirit but his chakra had yet to be balanced. Slowly he turned to Kleine and opened an eye. "Good Morning Sir", the young man spoke in a calm voice "Meditation is a way of balancing my energies. Kind of like sorting things out in your mind. It's like daydreaming...but with benefit." he smiled and met the stranger's hand "Ninigi no Mikoto, Ninigi for short." he halted the spiritual session and met eyes with Klein.
"This is my first time in these gardens..they are spectacular are they not?"

[Aight, now that my mission's done and my crew jobs are mostly settled, expect me to reply often from this point on!]

Spectacular? Maybe. No, not really. He did not care for things such as plants and animals. He did not even care for nature or the environment at all, as it was only a base on which the men may roam. These things distracted from what truly was the most interesting creation in the world: humans, their ambitions, their secrets that they could not tell lest they all destroy themselves. Plants meant nothing to him. This place was more than a garden for the roses to bloom. It was a hall for the people; whether pretentious or down to earth, whether weak or strong, whether soon to be dead or to continue to live on. He came here to decide these things for them, and to act based on such decisions. This guy right here, the one who talked to him, was certainly different. Unique in his way, but maybe he was misguided. What did something like meditation really do for a man? He supposed it depended on your type of person. Kleine -- frankly -- found no entertainment in something as mundane as clearing his mind. He preferred the excitement, the feeling of blood stretching from the tip of a man's head to his feet. He craved adventure more than a moderate existence alongside those who feared to leap, lest they fall.

"They are spectacular, you're right," he lied. He did not enjoy to offend, or get off on the wrong foot. That went against his game; his desire to lock a person's thoughts to himself, so that he could choose the direction by his own desire. "Though my sights fall to the people. Like you, for example, Ninigi no Mikoto. That's an interesting name. Sounds more like a title than a name, honestly. Kleine no Kusa would be mine, by that route. Is Mikoto the name of some small village you came from, maybe? Do care to explain." He looked him in the eyes. Perhaps it was obvious that Kleine was strange, sort of not all there. Or maybe he just seemed especially bubbly, or especially precipitous. He did not know. He only waited patiently for an answer.

Ninigi squinted a little at his words and slightly twitched. The plant behind him grazed the nape of his neck so slightly. He quickly wiped it away and sat forward feeling a little embarrassed. "My name?" he wasn't sure how to answer the seemingly kind man's questions, " I...I don't know how to answer that Mr. Kleine. I suppose my master gave it to me upon my parents request?" he looked the side kind of inquisitively "I'm guessing Mikoto is a last name but i'm not sure...wierd huh?"
He then stood up from the stone bench and looked back at his new found acquaintance "Mr.Kleine," he started again, "Care to take a walk?"

The man laughed a little at Ninigi's reaction to his question, one that he knew to be very precipitous and equally pointless. "Don't worry about it. I was mostly just talking aloud." He enjoyed the fine details, the subtle things. He enjoyed things that others simply let go away, without ever inquiring. Perhaps Ninigi was not the same. It didn't matter. He didn't need them to have that in common. "Take a walk?" He asked. Interesting proposal. It seemed like Ninigi was perhaps a little -- or very -- interested in him, which meant that he was doing it right. Playing his game. He nodded. "Sure," he replied. "And there are other things I'd care to do as well. Buy you a drink. Ingest it with you on a nice, outdoor table with an umbrella suspended up high. I don't get to do things that I like often. So I'll take this opportunity." He grinned, and stared the Uchiha in the eyes.

"Okay?" He clarified, simply for the sake of doing so. Then he began to wonder where they might go. Perhaps a western-styled dinner, or some seafood. Or maybe they'd just run out by the lake and experience the breeze together. Either way, Kleine felt that it would be an experience. Regardless of whether it meant anything, he wanted to have a day entirely to his own devices, one without burden. One with complete liberty.

The youth raised a brow at the man's eagerness "A walk...a walk would be fine to start." his complexion changed, he was young but he was no fool and certainly anything but innocent. His composure was maintained as he began to take his steps down the flowered path. Ninigi may have the eye for beauty but he prized inner beauty above all else. An apple could look ever so inviting on the outside, but inside could be rotten and riddled with worms. His sight ,most cherished, aided him in a manner such as this. "So..what kind of shinobi are you? What land do you herald from?" he stopped shortly and turned to Kleine "...if it pleases you, I would enjoy some nice tea and a n** of sake tonight. Perhaps with some barbeque and a relaxing twilight sigil in the forest?"

The young man raised his eyebrow slightly, observing that quite instantaneously, Ninigi almost grew hesitant of his presence. Did he notice something strange about Kleine in particular, or was he simply a wary fellow? He wasn't sure. But that meant that perhaps Kleine was to be wary as well; wary of the man's observations, wary of his own potentially dangerous intentions. He would be sure to not act with too positive a gleam. "A fine start indeed," he said. The tall, muscular man began to walk with the young shinobi down the path. He stared at his feet, on and off, as he stepped and stepped. Then he stared at his own. Then he stared at the sky through the glass. It was somewhat awkward until eventually the boy spoke to him, breaking the silence. "I'm a weapon's specialist. Sort of a diverse shinobi more than anything. I don't like to devote myself too much to one practice." That was true. One thing about Kleine was that he was always truthful, no matter what. He never concealed his identity or facts about himself. If someone asked him right now if he was a murderer, he would say yes. If they asked him if he was Double Take, he would say yes. It was true.

"I hail from Kusagakure," he continued. "I was born in this village, raised here. I don't expect to die here, however." No, his ambitions were sky high. They went beyond these walls, all the way to the gates of the divine. "My ancestors came from lands far north of here, where the snows eclipse the rolling hills and the plains six months out of twelve. When they grew tired of all the sickness and the hard living, they came down south as a contingent of thousands of men and carved their way to Kusa. They have since been one of the greatest families in Kusa no Kuni." But they had grown weak, and he knew that. Only Lucifer and Kleine, out of all of them, remained strong. The two of them were the prodigies that the family needed to return to its former glory. He was well aware.

"Creative adventure you've got planned out, huh? I would enjoy some tea, and sake. Though your other plans are fairly ambitious, aren't they? Barbeque's require a lot of preparation, aha." He was sure he could manage it, though, if he could take a trip back to his house before the grand event. "If that's what you want, though," he added, "Then consider it done. I don't mind." He smiled slightly, and contemplated the direction the rest of the night would endure. "Do you wanna go to my place, so we can grab the required instruments? We can drink while we're there."

"Your place?" Ninigi nodded hesitantly, it still seemed rather eager but the man enjoyed Ninigi's presence. Politely, he agreed "I guess if it suits you so..let us go to your place. You are kind to offer." he continued walking down the path breathing in the fresh scent of the water lilies. After hearing Klein's reply to his evening plans he turned to look at the built man "Ambitious? A minor talking session in the forest doesn't strike me as ambitious."
He adjusted his robes and nodded again to him "But I guess if it seems that way then so be it." he grinned warmly, a slight glint showing in his eyes. He thought about just how well the evening could play out and decided it would be more than a pleasant experience for the both of them, that in mind, he still kept a close eye on the charismatic figure. It wouldn't be the first time an attempt had been made on his life.

Kind to offer? Maybe he was. It all depended on what happened afterwards. It depended on whether or not he would choose to cherish the company of the white-streaked boy, or abhor it. So far, he was unsure of him. He enjoyed his company, he could tell that he was powerful, and smart enough to last. He could also tell that he was attracted to men. It was fairly obvious just from a single glance that to some extent, he desired Kleine. That was fine. He enjoyed being desired. It was a part of what allowed him to function as the lustful, spiteful creature that he was; his looks gave him great power, as charm was often as deadly a weapon as a blade, or a poison. In all honesty he could not say if the desire was mutual. Kleine often desired the bodies of other people. He eagerly sought to bring himself pleasure, and often used other men as a conduit. Thing was, it was a narcissistic, selfish practice more than anything. His actual taste for Ninigi depended. Kleine liked strength above anything.

The man looked at him briefly before he turned to step away, and towards his home. He was lean, sort of Kleine's type in that regard. His hair was unique. He was young and his complexion showed it, it was sort of a precious look, though he could also see the deadliness in his eyes. He wasn't entirely vulnerable, that was more clear as time went on. And yet he still thirsted for something, as he was still receptive to Kleine's words and offers. "Let's go, Ninigi," Kleine said, straightforwardly.

He continued down the path, outside of the gardens and through the village, stepping from the pavement of the road to the grass, to the stones, to the dirt by the lake. The large and beautiful village was territory to him, he knew every shortcut and every nook and cranny. He never allowed himself to get over the scenic view that came with each stretch until he found his way home. It was stunning even now, as a man.

When he arrived at his abode, he unlocked the door with a tiny key hidden in his jacket pocket. He glanced to the shinobi and invited him inside, then switching on the lights to reveal a fairly sizeable home. It was fit for a middle class man with no wife, no children and no obligations. It was fit for Kleine; everything about it was as the man who owned it, the walls were painted a crimson red with black carpets and all sorts of bizarre imaginings surrounding the rooms. Cult-like themes, penny dreadfuls and others; it was fairly obvious that he was not normal. But Ninigi already knew that. "You can grab a drink from my fridge," he told him. The man set down his belongings and peeled off his jacket, leaving a tank-top behind. "How old are you, by the way? I'm nineteen." He figured the boy was somewhere near sixteen, perhaps slightly higher or slightly lower. "And where are your parents? You mentioned you had a master... and he named you at your parent's request? Why did they not simply name you themselves?"

After passing the countless landscapes and buildings, reaching the home of his new acquaintance, Ninigi glanced over the innards of the strange man's abode. It was odd and certainly unnatural but the young shinobi expected such tastes. Hearing the sculpted man, he then took his him up on his offer and grabbed a cool bottle of water from the ice box. He drank it slowly and enjoyed it. It had been a while since he had more than just river water. Quickly he looked to him in response and smirked "I'm fifteen going on sixteen soon...any reason?" he finished the bottle and set it down. He could feel the coolness run through him, it was quite refreshing. The sudden follow-up question made him a little weary "My parents...I dont know them. They weren't able to stay after my mom gave birth. Sometimes I think they didn't want me. Sometimes I think they were on the run." he looked to the counter top a little spaced "My master raised me with the name I was given. It may or may not have been the full name but who knows." he then sat on the sofa.

As he found a small patch of grass he decided to take a seat on the ground. He took a deep breath and was now meditating trying to get rid of his worries.

Arekku ended up dozing off while he was meditating, as such all the exhaustion and dread he felt earlier seemed to be gone. As a wide smile appeared on his face he wondered what he should do next, he usually would just travel and be on his way. But as Kusa had just attacked another country it wouldn't be to safe to do that.

"If I go somewhere I'll probably end up being attacked and killed. Or do the killing either way I'll cause problems for Kusa. But no one even seem to know who I am or that I'm even a Kusa nin. I mean my looks don't match Kusa. Mmmmm what should I do?" Arekku was racking his head on what he should do over and over, as he did he was rubbing the back of his head fiercely trying to figure it out.

He started walking out off the garden, again taking the trail making sure not to disturb the gardens layout. He tucked in one of his arms inside of his shirt as he walked aimlessly to a new area.

Cisshet Shane

(Sorry Shane-Senpai/ Cisshet Shane, I'm not exactly sure what is going on between our two characters story-wise so what I'm going to do is just let it go for now and just appear back in the gardens. If you wish to continue from where we left off, Just notify me via PM or profile comment whatever and we could pick back up.)

Ninigi took his seat overlooking the trickling waters and took his breath. There was something about how the sun that shined today. Just kissing all that it could see with a slight touch. And the winds gentle as if soothing his nerves. This world of Kusagakure was unlike that of his homeland. There was a harmonious zen throughout this little paradise he had stumbled upon. Getting up, if only for a moment, he moved over to the edge of the now still waters and took a place on the cool grass. With the sounds of softly strummed leaves and the ambiance of the waters beside him, his vision began to blur and he closed his eyes. Now loosing himself to his own world within..
