The walk was long and painful, and oddly quiet. There had been a few short conversations on the way, which consisted of Kana constantly trying to find the solution of a question and Vincente either shutting her down, not answering, or simply answering straight up. She kept it strictly about him, though, since she wasn't interested in herself. Learning about him was a great experience. When they stopped briefly along the way, for a quick lunch break, she trained.

Kana waved at Vincente to go on along, since she wanted to train a little bit. She looked down at the book, frowning. She wanted to start off by learning the basics but it wasn't all that hard. Mizu no Waruasobi (Trick of Water) was the easiest to learn. All she had to do was manipulate the sweat on her hand and target it at a tree. It was her first time using elemental jutsu, she enjoyed it a lot. It was different from the medical she was used to. Next she got down Mizu Kagami no Jutsu (Water Mirror Technique). This one was a little harder then the last, but it still was fun to learn. Hardening the water and making it look like a mirror, it was interesting. Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit). Kana found this one the most fun, but didn't like how she had to use spit or water. The human mouth wasn't that clean, and she wasn't one for germs. She mastered this one pretty fast. After reading up on Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique), she was quick to make the necessary hand signs. She was terrible when it came to clones, and it was shown when she looked over. It didn't even look relatively like her. With a wave of her hand, the clone returned to a puddle form. She tried it three or four times before it actually came out right. Finally it came to Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation), which she found herself around a decent sized puddle. She practiced heating it up with concentration, then freezing it. She finished quickly, to catch up with Vince. With Blaze's long strides it took her a while.

By the time they reached the place, it was dark and she was tired. The shop was closed, and the only option was the hotel. "I have enough money for a room, how about you?" She wondered. Kana tilted her head, beckoning him into the hotel.

After Kana told Vincente to go ahead, he complied and left to go about his own devices. Blaze was curious what Vincente was going to do on his own. Vincente laid down his bag, upon which Blaze knew exactly what his foolish companion had in mind. Vincente strapped armor on to his legs, making sure that it was tightly strapped. "I wanted to get a bit of training in, so I--" Vincente cut himself off upon hearing gruff laughter getting closer to him. Vincente sighed, this was going to be an interesting day. He didn't think that trouble would follow him all the way here.

Vincente stood up and glanced in the direction of his would-be attackers, who all walked down from an alley. Blaze began to growl, and was about to lunge at the humans, but Vincente decided he'd handle it himself. He would rely on his eyes for the time being, and also, rely on his own training. This would be a warm-up match for him. Once the men told Vincente to turn out his pockets, he knew they were meant to be in for some pain. They were all youths, as Vincente could tell since he dwarfed them, but they were old enough for Vincente not to feel bad about his next move. The leader of the group approached Vincente, and the giant quickly dealt a finishing strike to the thug's lower jaw, dropping him on the floor right there.

Vincente began to bounce from foot to foot, deciding that he was going to enjoy himself for the time being instead of considering this solely as training. He was now being charged in a group, and that's when he let his instincts take over, rather than trying to go about things peacefully. Of course...when was that ever a solution in this case? Vincente swiveled backwards, slamming his foot in to the stomach of his neck aggressors and flipping forward to land a decisive strike below his enemy's chin. It sent them reeling, but it wasn't strong enough to take them out. Vincente was strong, but not strong enough since his greaves were extremely heavy...worse than leg weights.

If there was one thing Vincente hated, it was when strikes came off as shallow, or otherwise, not powerful at all. Vincente spun back to look at his attacker and saw that the man was still stunned from the initial strike. Vincente took the chance he had and grabbed the attacker by their hair before throwing them straight towards the ground and making one quick stomping motion on their back. After Vincente was sure they weren't getting back up he drew he leg back, standing on one leg and holding a defensive posture upon encountering even more resistance. He swore that when people knew they were outmatched, it was better to run away than to try and fight it out. In Vincente's case, he knew that he was outnumbered, but retreat now of all times wouldn't be an option. It was a difficult situation, but there was no escaping it just yet.

Vincente hoped they were prepared, because he was going to show no mercy. He felt his hair stand on end when a blade came at him from behind...it was a cheap, imitation katana that was about as sharp as a piece of bamboo from what Vincente recalled. With a sigh, Vincente ducked backwards, avoiding the metal blade before turning to face that attacker before he could recover. Vincente, although he was attempting to train with his legs, had a bad habit. He reached for his enemy's neck and struck him as hard as possible beneath the ribcage. There was a satisfying popping sound, so Vincente assumed that he'd actually broken a rib or so. Vincente pulled that attacker backwards as he fell towards the ground and pressed both feet on the thug's ribs before blasting him upwards. Vincente hopped back up to his feet, and when his enemy came down, Vincente spun once and delivered the final strike to the vulnerable side of his enemy.

Blaze was amused while watching Vincente run back and forth like he was a beast on the battlefield. The boy was merely a fledgling when it came to combat, but he seemed so experienced from an outsider's perspective. Blaze slumped to the ground and observed Vincente's movements carefully, curious as to why, and seeing how some people called Vincente a genius on the battlefield. Blaze wouldn't go as far as to call him a genius in that regard, but Vincente knew a fair amount about practical navigation of a battlefield when outnumbered by those weak foes. Blaze observed that Vincente had two choices, which was to either defeat the weaker enemies so they wouldn't bother him as he fought stronger ones, or to eliminate the stronger foes and wipe out the weaker ones together. Vincente often switched between those two methodologies depending on the battlefield conditions, but Blaze could see Vincente went for the strongest first. Vincente was dealing strikes that appeared fatal to make the smaller enemies fear him and run.

When his foes began to back away and retreat, Vincente only gave chase for a short ways. It was not like they were coming back to bother him any time soon after that decisive defeat they suffered. Vincente looked at Blaze and smiled happily, those eyes of his lighting up at his victory. Vincente and Blaze wordlessly walked alongside each other, but Blaze could tell Vincente was reveling in his victory. The first and foremost trait that Vincente embodied was power, and with power he could work his way up further than he ever knew he could. Blaze was eager to see, in time, what Vincente would become. Being the child that he was, Vincente was brimming with potential. He could've been anything, but Blaze could tell he had yet to decide on a solid path in life yet. Either way, Blaze would let him have these small victories every now and again. When Kana caught up with them, Vincente nodded in response, although he was exhausted from swinging around heavy metal on his legs for so long. "Of course. I wouldn't ever travel without." Vincente responded, crossing his arm below his ribs towards the direction of the hotel, a brief smile lighting up his face. "After you, Ms. Kana."

Nodding along, she guided him into the Hotel and paid the clerk man the rest of her money. She was being nice about it, and the clerk person was kind enough to give her a double sized room for the price of one. Probably because of the size Vincente. While they waited for the keys, she looked up at him but said nothing. It must be weird, seeing such a tall boy and a short girl together. I hope I don't look like his little sister... Kana thought flustered, taking a step from him and looking down at herself with pink cheeks. They got the keys, and was escorted to their room in no time. "Alright, so I'll take first watch!" She said determinedly, knowing he was more exhausted then she was. Now that they were alone, she had the confidence to jump up and kiss him on the cheek before handing him the keys and shutting the door. She paused after she turned the door closed, sighing. She continued until she was standing outside, having no intent of going back inside to wake him up. He needed the sleep more then she did...

She decided to at least learn something. Running over her mind, she went into her backpack and started to go through a few books she had that was specific on jutsu. Opening it, she focused her time on what it said. It talked about not feeling the pain of something, So, she learned it. It took much more than she though it would. To be able to fully master it, Kana had to inflict pain on herself and then do it. Taking a standard kunai out, she did a quick examination on herself, finding a spot on her torso that would be non fatal but painful to stab. After putting a kunai in herself, she let out a quick gasp of pain. Concentrating, she closed her eyes and waited.

The meditation did well, the pain was gone when she opened her eyes but she knew the pain would come back whenever it wore off. Not only that, she was still bleeding profusely. This was a last measure jutsu to finish off someone before dying. Closing her eyes, she put her hand over her wound and concentrated. She knew how to stop the bleeding, simply by learning and using Keksuki Gyouko (Blood Coagulation) , she stopped the bleeding. The pain however, came back after a while and she was left sitting there for a few hours, numb. It was about time to wake him up, but Kana didn't mind taking the whole night.

Vincente seemed shocked that she seemed so ready to leave, but she probably must have noticed the exhaustion on his face given that, before she arrived, he was in combat. On the side where she kissed his cheek, Vincente couldn't help but to close one eye out of reflex, a smile spreading across his lips. "Try not to wear yourself out." Vincente remarked upon her departure. Vincente himself sat on the bed and followed the same trend as last time, unbinding his hair to let it flow at its full length. He discarded his shirt and the armor underneath and crossed his legs while sitting on the bed, allowing himself to fall deeply in to a meditative state.

Even when sleeping, Vincente desired to learn. It was one of the few things he could do while Kana was away. Those items he was wearing on his legs, although heavy, would prove to become useful weapons if he learned how to properly apply their use. Next time he would test his abilities on Blaze to see if that old wolf was finally starting to slow down. It wasn't uncommon for the two to spar and for Blaze to naturally overpower Vincente, but Vincente felt as if he were to take on Blaze now he would begin to show signs of improvement. Animal abuse? Naaah. Blaze knew exactly what he was getting in to, and considered fighting Vincente a show of sport.

Vincente was excited while thinking about it, but he fell asleep when his excitement had begun to wane. Vincente looked entirely at peace when he slept, though he was easily still able to awaken if it came down to battle. Even if he were slow to react, the Seki-Reigan would prevent him from falling so easily. He was much stronger than he gave himself credit for...even Blaze saw Vincente improving every day. The fight with those thugs earlier was proof of that rapid improvement, and there was nowhere to go from there but up. Pretty soon, Vincente would master his abilities, and then he'd be a force to be reckoned with. There was always more he could do, after all.

Kana| Hatake| Shikotsumyaku| Chakra Points: 120/120

She decided, she wasn't going to wake him up. Probably freaking the towns people out with her constant training, so she headed a little out of town to do the rest of it. Especially something she was about to learn, something that her father gave her when she was younger. It would keep her busy until dawn, and it would probably turn out with good results. Taking out a scroll, and releasing it a much larger scroll appeared in her hand. Unrolling what said Amegakure, she looked into the scroll with wide eyes. Boxing, something her father and brother had learned in their time. Kana didn't know how they got the information, but it must have been something her father did when he was young. Did her family use to belong in the Hidden Rain Village?

Finding a nice spot amongst the forest, she started to practice. Putting up her fist, she kept them near her face to keep the learning precise. Focusing on the tree in front of her, she started to jab at it. Soon her jabs became faster. Then slower. The faster she got, the more tiring it got swinging towards the tree, and so the slower her jabs initially were. She leaned against the tree, frowning and staring up towards the sky. It was the middle of the night, she could see the town glistening in the distance. She closed her eyes for a brief second...

"Yo babe." The sound of bandits awoke her, but she was already pinned down by the time she opened her eyes. There were three of them, having all pudgey faces but the strength to hold her down despite her struggling. "What's a cute girl like you sleeping out here alone?" The main one leaned forward and whispered into her ear, sending shivers down her neck. She clenched her eyes and flinched away, fear running throughout her whole body. She was afraid to reply, fearing that if she opened her mouth they would kiss her or something. Not that she had much of a choice, seeing as their hands roamed her body and their lips locking onto her neck, face, and breast. She moved her head away, tears appearing in her eyes. "Please. Please... Please stop!" She cried.

She heard a ripping noise, and started to thrash and freak out. The three of them alone couldn't take her at this most panic state. Taking one of them, she used simply one are to sling them across to another tree. The main one, which mainly was keeping her legs down, she punched in the face leaving a dent. Finally, the last one on her arm was thrown in the same direction of the first one. Kana stood up and tears, and used rapid jabs and some moves she mimicked from the scroll to fend them off. They had endurance, but were weak so they were half-dead within minutes. She stood there panting, tears still coming out for several moments before she noticed dawn was approaching.

She grabbed the scroll, and covered her bare breasts with her hands and made her way into the city. Kana was sure to use back allys and roof tops to make it to the hotel, and when she arrived she went straight to room and slammed the door. She was still crying, but it turned more silently now. That was horrible... They almost... I could have... The thoughts and what ifs only made her cry more. Shaking her head, she wiped her tears as they came, and frowned at herself. Vincente was in the room, sleeping, but she had no idea how to explain what happened to him. It was time to get up anyways, so swallowing her tears and fear, she crawled forward and poked his cheek. "Do you have a shirt I can borrow?" She tried to sound confident and nonchalant, but it came out small, shaky.

Vincente was startled awake by feeling somebody approach, but he kept his eyes closed for the time being. When he learned it was just Kana, he opened his eyes. She seemed trouble, and looked troubled...Vincente's calm expression turned very dark in response to it. He hopped out of the bed, leaving his meditative state behind and reaching in to his bag. "It's going to be pretty big on you...sorry." Vincente remarked, seeing that his shirt on Kana didn't fit in the least, but it must've at least been comfortable. "You're not saying anything, but I can hear it in your voice. Who touched you? Where are they now?" Vincente's words were steady and he spoke in a practiced, calm manner.

While calm in speech, Vincente was not very calm in action. His eyes had already begun to glow with that mysterious light, and suddenly, Vincente was racing all about the room, moving fast enough to leave only a brief image of himself. He was quickly suited already and had both swords unsheathed, deciding that it would be a problem if he let the people who did what they did get away. They would cause problems later, and Vincente wasn't going to allow that. "Depending on how long you've been gone, if they had friends they probably came to get them by now. In which case...I can kill them all in the same place." Vincente remarked coldly.

Kana's eyes watched him, but were distance. She felt ashamed from what happened, and angry at the same time. Mostly at herself, though. Snuggling into the large shirt, she was sure to breath a few times to completely calm down. Vince looked ready to kill, and she had half a mind to allow it. But if she did, would her conscious suffer? "Outside of the city, on the path near the forest. I left them lying there." She replied simply," Don't kill them." She used a hair tie to keep the shirt from completely dominating her whole body and exited the room. She didn't want to be around him at the moment, afraid she'd cry and look weak. Since dawn was there, she went to go discuss the trading route.

"A punishment to fit their crime. That's as fair as I'll be." Vincente remarked, vanishing from view as if it were just another after-image left behind by the unnaturally fast shinobi. Vincente left Blaze behind since he didn't want the wolf watching him get in to trouble, but it was something he was looking forward to. He reached the destination, and saw them stirring awake...not of their own volition of course, as they were being kicked awake. That was fine...Vincente enjoyed company. He wouldn't kill them, but he wouldn't hold himself accountable if it was their wounds that, ultimately, finished them off. Having somebody rend the flesh from your bones often did that, no?

Vincente's first priority was to engage the thugs and bandits before they could get a decent start-up. As before, he was here to give them a punishment fitting of their crime...death was too good for the likes of them, perhaps. The flourish of steel was quickly aided in appearance by flashes of red here and there. It was a disgusting sight to some, but a beauty to others. Vincente wasn't one to lean towards either or...he just figured that every time he coated his swords in bloodrust, it was just another par for the course. Bandits were always in decent supply, so he never ran out of enemies to test his sword on. It wasn't exactly Crossroads Killing, but it was close. Blaze could see, even from a distance that Vincente had become embroiled in a conflict that he had no need to get in to.

"People like you...I love to fight the most. You're weak alone, but you have the capacity to fight in packs like animals. Even then..." Vincente ran his sword through his immediate foes ribcage, avoiding his heart, and grazing his lungs. "you're more akin to a pack of rats than dogs." Vincente remarked, pulling his blade from the body and pushing the bandit backwards, slicing his hand off at the palm and letting the body collapse on the ground in a bloody heap. Vincente was a destructive force, but with enough precision to destroy his foes while leaving them to think on all that had transpired. "Remember your sins while you burn in hell." Vincente remarked coldly as his eyes began to flash at a steady rhythm. He believed he had a deeper understanding of his eyes now...and he would use them for this brutal attack, so long as he was here.

Kana entered the candy store with blurry vision, the woman behind the counter noticed and pointed it out. "Darling, would you like to try a free sample.." the nice lady asked, but she shook her head. She had to get down to business," I'm here to confirm a trading route between you and the candy shop in Konohagakure.. Now it's a two day walk, however-" Kana pulled out a map and set it on the counter. Pointing to where the paths were," If you take this route, going from here to here... It'll only take 12 hours. It can sometimes be a dangerous route, so there will be times where you will be in charge of sending capable..." They continued to talk like this for almost ten minutes without pause. After finishing the trading route, Kana turned to leave but the woman wouldn't allow it. She ordered the girl to follow her to the back, which the small girl complied. The back was something that totally blew her mind, it was a lab. It wasn't a candy shop at all, this was something underground. Scratching the back of her neck, she watched the big lady as she explained what it was. It sounded... wonderful. Kana's eyes widened as the woman showed her everything, how to make such a thing, and where to find the ingredients. Usually, the naive girl would leave the dark substance alone, however... The woman shoved the pill down her throat to show her what she was talking about.

It felt wonderful. Her bad morning, exhaustion, it was all wiped from her mind. Instead it was replaced with a thick feeling of happiness. It made her think of what made her happy, what had once felt like happy. Vincente... her family.. even thinking about her brother only brough a dopey smile to her face. This was an amazing pill, and all she could do was agree. This was how to make the world happy, this is what she needed. She helped the woman make a handful of handfuls of it, the process involving little blood but multiple leafs and laughter. "How beautiful." She whispered as the pill wore off, stuffing her bag with ingredients for this and bags of it. She was going to use this.

After thanking the woman, she left the city and stood beside the gate to wait. Images of the men appeared in her mind, but the solution for this mental pain was simply. She would reach down and put two of the pills in her mouth, allowing her to enter a day dream that involved Vincente.
