Where the young and the old come to train themselves. There are several mountains off in the distance if you wish to train there, but still be in the jurisdiction of the village. There is a small field of grass, several ponds and lakes, and a forest area. This is the largest area in the Hidden Village, and actually takes up almost all of it. Feel free to train, spar, or work till your hearts content. It takes three less posts to train techniques when training here.

Rei wandered into the Grassy Plains, carrying a scythe forged from his own bone, mainly spine. Despite having ripped out his spine to make a nice weapon for himself, he's walking normally and having a good time. He holds the scythe on his shoulders, looking around yet seeing no shinobi in sight. "Where in the name of Jashin is everyone today?"
He sighs annoying, grinding the blade of the scythe into the ground. He left for the bar, grinding his scythe behind him.
A hodded man made his way into the center of the fields fiding only one person in sight. Pulling his hood back Kit revealed his face to the man standing before him. "Kit Joukai Heyaza, New graduate of the academy." Kit stood at 6'2 and 21 years old. He had only recently decided to become a ninja and graduated with ease. After reciving his head band which was not to be seen he was told to meet in the fields in one week for a breifing. To find only one man here with him Kit had two options. He was early. Or the only one invited. Saying nothing more then his name Kit awaiting this mans reply.

Claire arrived at the training grounds, it was the first one she stepped on in months. The one at Konoha always seemed pretty congestive with a lot of people. Which made sense everyone wants to get stronger as a shinobi, but to her she just looking for places to relax and hang out. Though she also realized that she should move forward and become stronger. All of this made her head spin on what she should be doing and what she wanted to be doing. At least it felt nice to be somewhere new and different.
She went to the nearby river and stood at the edge of the water, she picked up a stone and started to skip across the water with a carefree look on her face as she did.
Plopping down underneath one of the trees, Hisoka stretched her arms contently and leaned back against a tree trunk. In her opinion this was one of the better spots in the whole village. The air was always cooled thanks to the slow running river that was nearby. Not to mention it was a very quiet place, even during the day time. The perfect place to train genjutsu for the time being. Hisoka had come to this area to train anyways, though now it felt like a better place to take a nap. 'Train first, nap later I suppose.' her hand fished in the bag she brought with her to find a scroll on the more basic genjutsus.
The basics came first in anything, so that was where she began and unrolled the scroll marked for students in the Academy. Kumo Monokage no jutsu (Cloud Cover Technique). It was a simple genjutsu. A small cloud would appear to the target and was used to cover something small. That would come in handy if the area was already foggy or something. The next jutsu was Hekireki Koe no Jutsu (Thunder Voice Technique). The name was impressive enough even for such a low rank jutsu. The description was funny enough, but Hisoka could already see herself using such a genjutsu to scream until she got what she wanted.
Hisoka noticed this scroll wasn't very long as she was already pulling at the end. The third genjutsu, Raimei Wana Fuu (Thunder Trap Seal). This genjutsu was a little strange. Not only did it effect her target, but it seemed to effect the user as well. It didn't seem to have much use in battle, unless her opponent had a fear of thunder or loud noises. The genjutsu was better suited for pranks than anything else. Lastly was Hibanahouden no Jutsu (Discharge Technique), a genjutsu that actually did something. True, the same effect could be achieved by rubbing a persons socks on the ground and then shocking them. This was useful too.
Reaching the end of that scroll, Hisoka placed it to the side and fished out the next one. This one was a tiny bit more advanced. A scroll meant for genin fresh from the academy. Hisoka opened it to the first Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu (Cloud Clone Technique). A clone could be created in a way, but this clone was strictly fake. An illusion meant to throw off her opponent. Or at least buy her time to use another jutsu. That would come in handy for sure. Pulling the scroll open a bit further she read the next jutsu. Tendou no Ashi no Jutsu (Cherub's Foot Technique). The first thing Hisoka thought of this just, was that it had the strangest name yet. For some reason cherubs just creeped her out.
The justu was pretty straight forward albeit...strange. As long as eye contact was kept, the target would see a giant foot attempting to squish him or her like a little bitty insect. '...well that's disturbing.' Hisoka was sure she wouldn't be using this jutsu in the near future, or any moment in her life time. She shook her head in dismay at the mere thought that someone had to come up with this jutsu to begin with. Moving on to the last one in the scroll she sighed a little a bit at the name. Kumo Yotogi (Cloud Watching), now that was something she could get into. Cloud watching was a perfect way to pass the time.
The description for the jutsu was of course nothing like the hobby. Well it was, in a way, some what like cloud watching. Or at least what the feeling was like anyways. It was actually a really peaceful genjutsu by the sound of it. She actually felt like trying it on herself, but was fairly certain that would be impossible for more than one reason. Hisoka placed the genin scroll down and took a moment to stretch her arms again, before picking up the last one she had brought.
This last scroll was much thicker than the previous two. Being the Chuunin scroll for training genjutsu it was to expected. Hisoka found herself almost wishing it would have funny little jutsus like the others had. Using genjutsu to pull pranks was a very fun idea, but she didn't want to hurt the little victims-...villagers. The first of the many jutsus was Fukyuu no Jutsu (Immortality Technique). Now there as a name for a genjutsu or any jutsu for that matter. Fukyuu no Jutsu was a indeed a useful genjutsu. Being able to hide wounds was a good thing.
Looking at the next genjtusu, Hitoshirenu Shikaku no Jutsu (Hidden Assassin Technique), it was another cool sounding technique. Although this one looked to be a rather confusing little trick. Even to her, the user. Hisoka would have to try that out on someone a few times to get the hang of it. The third jutsu did not look to be any easier. Keizokuteki Enmu no Jutsu (Continuous Fog Technique) was a nasty sounding clone technique. Able to zap a person upon releasing the jutsu other than just the normal poof. That was a good thing to know, a justu like that would cause some problems for the target. The fourth, Kumo ni Shikkyaku (Falling from the Clouds), looked to be just as painful. Well, as painful as a genjtusu could get anyways. As much fun as it sounded to be up in the air like that, Hisoka didn't like the idea of falling out of control and splattering across the ground.
Denkou Hachidori no Jutsu (Electric Hummingbirds Technique) actually sounded kinda pretty. Hisoka had a hobby of watching birds and hummingbirds just happened to be her favorite kind. Like any other genjutsu it did cause a good amount of discomfort. All those sharp little beaks smacking you dead in the stomach couldn't be a pleasant feeling. The more she unraveled the scroll in the her hands the more dangerous genjutsus seemed to become. That was the point, but Hisoka was starting to feel like genjutsus had a one track mind. To cause pain or discomfort in one way or another. The Raikou Ame no Jutsu (Lightning Rain Technique) was no different. Causing a thunderstorm that produced lightning in such a way was truly scary to think about. Hisoka was starting to feel a bit happy that it was difficult for her to be put under a genjutsu. She didn't want to know what it felt like.
At the second to last genjutsu, Hisoka paused at the name, Go Kasho Fuu: Raikou Seki no Jutsu (*Five Point Seal: Lightning Barrier Technique). She figured that even the name was a trick since jutsus like that were one of the things she had absolutely no talent for. The more she read though, the more she understood that this was a higher quality of the little prank jutsu from the first scroll. And lastly was the Kukan Hyouketsu no Jutsu (Body Freeze Technique). She frowned here. A genjutsu that required physical contact was tricky in more ways than one. Physically speaking, Hisoka was like a ripe banana just waiting to be squished. Sure she wasn't as squishy as some genjutsus users, but it didn't take much to knock her over. In fact Hisoka rarely went any where without someone there to back her up. This particular genjutsu was probably going to be a last ditch effort if she ever needed to use it.
As she closed the final scroll Hisoka pulled her legs up and rested her head on her knees. She let out a little sigh of relief, glad to have her studying done now. She liked learning new jutsus, but sometimes she wished it would be a whole heck of a lot faster than that. 'What should I do now.' her thoughts strayed with her eyes as a bird flew off the branch above her. 'Ah, whatever. It can wait for now. Nap time~' And with that thought, Hisoka flopped onto her side and dozed off.

A random noise scared the living crap out off Claire who was enthralled by her rock throwing busy work. She decided to investigate all the racket, but by the time she arrived she only found a shinobi taking a nap on the floor. She went over and looked her over curiously, undecided if she would disturb the nap or not. She was kind of tempted to since she was the first person she met since her excursion to the village, but at the same time she didn't know the ways of the cloud nin.
She feared that they may take serious offense if someone disturb their nap, let alone if it was a foreign shinobi. As Claire racked her head on what she should do while she played with her hair, she decided to leave the tuckered out shinobi and head back by the stream as she got their she just sat at the edge of the stream and meditated by herself.

When Jeyan arrived at the Training Grounds, it had seemed he was the first person there. He had no idea how it happened that way, but it did. Only when he went about looking at the training grounds did he realize there was some work that needed to be done. He had a lot of techniques he had to learn and it was the perfect time to learn them.
There wasn’t much that went into training Hyuuga techniques. They were all simply add-ons of the basic things he was taught by his mother. He began with the simple Hakke Kuushou. Jey positioned his body into the eight divination signs just to get used to the flexibility necessary to perform the technique in combat. [1/3]
The second step came in releasing chakra. As a Hyuuga, it wasn’t necessary to go into too much training with that. He had been doing it since he was younger. But more concentrated bursts through his palms would be much harder. He concentrated, extended his arm and released a burst of chakra. [2/3]
The last step was to put everything together. He never had a problem with that part of things. He entered the stance, twisting and contorting himself in the divination sign stance. Then, with the extension of his palm, Jeyan released his chakra through his hand, showing his mastery of the technique. [3/3]
Jeyan couldn’t see himself attacking very often without his weapons. However, he could defend without them. The Heavenly Spin would allow him to do that. It started with the eight divination stance like the last technique had. He put himself in the stance. [1/3]
It was going to be multiple releases of his chakra in a spherical form, defending everything around him. As necessary, the Gennin’s Byakugan activated, depleting the color of his eyes and forcing his veins through his forehead. He could see everything and he loved it. Nothing was better than having his Byakugan eyes opened. [2/3]
Everything was ready for the performance. The Weapon’s Specialist entered his stance. His Byakugan flared as he began to spin his body in every direction, releasing thrusts of chakra in every direction. His speed when rotating was so much that his body would disappear to those watching on the outside and a blue orb appeared in his place. Pure mastery. [3/3]
The first of the Fuuton techniques he began to learn was the Wind Explosion technique. It wouldn’t take him a let of time because of the teachings he received from his mother regarding Fuuton. He created a Wind Clone that swirled a ball in his hand for him, then he launched it at a tree, doing substantial damage. [1/1]
Jeyan focused on the next technique then. It wasn’t going to be hard at all. He opened his mouth and took in the most air his chest could hold and held it in his body, mixing it in with his chakra. Then, in a blast, he released the wind and it dissipated. All he needed it to do was blow projectiles away. [1/1]
A technique meant to dodge would be very useful to him, regardless of how fast he already was and how easily he perceived techniques with his Byakugan. He gathered his Fuuton chakra into his hands and extended them forward like he was performing a Hyuuga technique. He flew backwards at considerable speed. [1/1]
For plot reasons with learning the technique, Jeyan had a fan on hand. Not to mention he was a Weapon’s Specialist. He gathered his chakra into the small fan, not expecting much out of the technique. He slashed and cutting wind jumped from the fan blades. He had mastered yet another Fuuton technique. [1/1]
Too begin learning the Air Pocket Bursts Technique, Jey first created a Wind Clone to be the target. He then simply focused his chakra in the area around the clone. It was eerily similar to manipulating the wind as he normally did. The bursts knocked the clone of balance and almost forced it to fall. [1/1]
The Spinning Shield of Winds would be useful. Especially with the Gennin’s affinity for wind. He first manipulated the wind directly in front of him. His focus created a chakra shield made of Fuuton. It continuously let off bursts of chakra to reflect attacks from his opponents. [1/1]
Armor of Wind was going to be incredibly useful. He already knew. So Jeyan Hyuuga went into learning that technique with more focus than he normally did. He calmed his chakra and then released it all at once. A whirlwind materialized around him, sucking up dirt and debris from everywhere. If someone were too close, they could have been pulled into the armor itself. Once he felt comfortable using the technique, the boy released it. He was done with his training at that moment. [1/1]
After a short trek into the training grounds, Ren turned to his squad. "First things first, I think it's fair that we all introduce ourselves. No point in being a squad if we don't know who the other members are." Frankly, the man was never a fan of introducing himself, but it was one of those required formalities for times like this. "So...I guess I'll start. My name is Ren. I am an S-ranked ninja of Kumogakure. I will be leading you on missions and furthering your abilities to make you as strong as I possibly can. That is all." With that, the man took a seat on the ground, and waited for one of the others to speak. He didn't expect them to share a helluva lot of information. Just enough to make the process easier on him for setting up plans and whatnot.

Tsuki walked into the training fields, trailing behind Ren. When he stopped, she stopped. When he spoke, she listened. When he finished and sat down, Tsuki remained standing. There was a moment of silence as Tsuki stood waiting for someone else to speak first. However, it seemed the Alex hadn't been following Ren as well as Tsuki had and Jeyan wasn't speaking either for whatever reason. Even after Tsuki had carefully arranged her introduction, no one else stepped up. Caving into the pressure created by the silence, Tsuki unwillingly introduced herself even as she thought,
"I am Mizutou Tsuki, a chuunin of Kumogakure," Tsuki started, having decided while she planned that she would give significantly more information than the basics Ren gave. After all, she could guess that this introduction was to help him lead and the leader needed information on those he led. Of course, Ren could probably have just looked through their files if he really needed in-depth information, but Tsuki didn't want to cause unnecessary trouble like that. She continued with further information that would be relevant to squad-related activities, "I know some basic suiton and sealing. The Kyuubi is kept within me. Although, I've never had any contact with it, so I'm sure I'm safe. Please don't put me in the front lines. My last sensei tried that because he thought it would release the Kyuubi. It might have, but I got scared and ran from the fight before anything could happen." While visibly nervous, Tsuki's voice remained clear and concise throughout the entire explanation. As she talked about the Kyuubi, her face did drop into her scarf, muffling her voice but not to the point that it couldn't be heard. She knew she had a lot of flaws. She just hoped that she didn't seem too incompetent.
It was good that the Squad Captain was an S-Rank Shinobi, and that the girl was a Chuunin. It meant that they both had extensive experience. Personality-wise, though, it didn't seem as though the squad would work very well together. Ren seemed formal. And Tsuki looked as though she was going to have an anxiety attack. On top of that, Jeyan's third comrade hadn't even showed up. He figured it was his turn to introduce himself. "My name is Saedo Hyuuga, but I go by Jeyan. I'm a Gennin and I specialize in armed combat and I have an affinity for Fuuton." That was barely scratching the surface but he didn't want to begin to ramble.
Coming in slowly behind he heard what the captain said but was still late when Jeyan began introducing himself. Smiling he looked at everyone and waved, "I am Alexandra, I am a Genin and I am a pupeteer, or I will be when I finally get a puppet made." He said laughing nervously as he crossed his arms and looked away not really sure on how to really act around them. He wasn't really good with meeting new people so the fact he is in a new squad he was sorta sweating from his nerves. Rubbing his arms he avoided eye contact as he breathed heavily and nervously and sat on his knees and waited for the next thing to do.
Toshiko entered the field from the side furthest away from the squad that was already using the field. She quickly discerned which person was the Jounin squad leader and who the students were. She thought to herself how nice it must have been for them to have their own squad with which to fight, grow, and practice. But still, having the Raikage as a teacher counts for something even if I am the only member of my squad. It just means I'll have to train harder then all of them. She pulled a small scroll out of her pocket and began to study it intensely. It was instructions for how to preform the basic jutsu, Heki no Jutsu, or Burst Technique. So, simple handsign, and then I just build chakra all over the top of my skin and discharge it, seems easy enough. Toshiko stood up and preformed the handsign, keeping her entire body rigid. She concentrated on letting chakra flow from her skin. After minutes and minutes of trying however, all she had managed was a slight tingle on her arms and to build up quite a sweat.

Toshiko wasn't going to be beaten by such a simple technique. She went over the scroll 3 more times, taking in every last detail contained within it before attempting again. Once again she stood and began to preform the jutsu. She matched the handsign in the scroll perfectly and began to channel her chakra. Any casual onlooker would hear a slight hum in the air, emanating from Toshiko as large volumes of chakra began to seep out of her. However, even with all this energy flowing from her, she had not managed to do a quick burst as the technique stated should occur. She broke the handsign and raked her mind as to what the issue could be.

The shinobi cannot move while in this state.
That's when it occurred to Toshiko what she was doing wrong the whole time. Instead of releasing all the chakra in one burst, she was allowing it to be built up and continuously released. With renewed vigor, she preformed the handsign and began to build chakra just under her skin, but kept it from being released. Her whole body tingled and surged with energy, almost putting her into a mild state of euphoria. The feel of the locked up power was so intoxicating, she almost forgot why she was storing it to begin with. "Heki no Jutsu!". A brilliant white surge filled the filled as an amazing amount of energy was discharged form Toshiko's body. Any curious onlooker would have seen a flash of what appeared to be white lightning escape from her body and arc into the nearby surroundings. Seconds later, Toshiko collapsed to the ground laughing. She had mastered her first jutsu as a fully fledged Kumogakure ninja.
