ACCEPTED CHARACTERS DETECTIVES Detective 1: wolf_with_a_dragon Username:wolf_with_a_dragon Name:Jake Wolf Age:27 Gender:Male Race:Shapeshifter(can change into a wolf) Likes:a good mystery, pasta, his coworkers, comics, having a decent life now Dislikes:people getting in the way of his investigations, jackasses, running, cops, slow days Bio:Jake grew in the big city in a lower-middle class family. As a youth, he had a tendency of running around with the local gangs. This resulted in him knowing every nook, cranny, and the majority of secrets in the city. He was arrested on multiple occasions by the time he was eighteen. About a year after graduating highschool, he realized that he was going no where in life, he just kept digging himself into a bigger and bigger hole. He went and quit every gang he was a part of, and cleaned up his life so he can get a better job. However, nobody was willing to hire him do to his...colorful past. At the age of twenty he had managed to clean up his life, but was still working a dead end job. That was when it happened. A murder took place a block down from where he worked. The cops weren't getting anywhere in the case and had stopped being so strict with crime scene security. So Jake took the chance to slip in and check it out. He investigated out of mere curiosity, but soon found several details the cops missed. A missplaced shoe print here, a broken latch there, some powder there. They were little things, hardly even noticeavle, but Jake managed to catch them. He started to form a theory and tell the cops, but they refused to listen to him. So he called up an old friend, Calaena, and requested her help. Surprisingly, she agreed to help him. After quite a bit of snooping, following lead after lead, they finally managed to piece together exactly what happened. Now that they had all the evidence needed, they went back to the cops and presented their case. The cops were surprised at how easily they managed to solve the mystery and asked if they would be willing to help in the future. Jake and Calaena eagerly agreed, but only after Jake dragged Calaena to the side and convinced her to keep working with him. From there they opened up their own private investigator firm and named it Dragatha Investigators Inc., and have been offering their services ever since. Bio: Celaena grew up with a 'catholic' style family. Her parents were very strict about how things were. But Celaena wasn't the typical one her family wanted. Not what they wanted of their first born anyway. They wanted someone to take over the family business. Since her parents were definitely the owners of a church like structure that wasn't even useful... Celaena was more an adverturing type. She liked to go out into the forest and find bugs and plants. But it was more or less of little help when she kept getting told she was wrong... She finally left at age fifteen to find something she could do on her own. It was three years later when she met Jake, a male shapeshifter, who was a thug and seriously challenged individual. She wasn't exactly the nicest person either at the time, and they didn't get along. At first anyway. After some spats and her helping him change his ways, they became good friends. She wanted to continue wandering so she gave him her number in case he needed her help again. For years she was just wandering, seeing what she could see until he called. He needed her help. Of course he did. She came back to the dreary town and helped him solve a murder. Which was in itself fascinating. After they finished solving it and so quickly, Jake convinced her to join an investigation crew that she normally would have refused. But this seemed fun. Pic:  INTERNS Intern 1: Kami GearX Seijin Shinseina Yogosu [Database Basics][Race]Vampire [Gender]Male [Age]23 [Personal Information][Background Check]Seijin was a normal vampiric child in the city of Vermail. The vampiric citizens bought blood from medical facilities to sustain themselves, and so to do Seijin's family. However no matter how much Seijin drank, he always seemed to be thirsty for more. They said it was that he was simply growing, but as he grew older and his growth spurts became farther apart, it became disconcerting that Seijin might not be another vampire. This concern grew to panic when Seijin finally showed his true colors, draining the blood out of another vampire and quelling his own thirst. He was quickly taken to a medical facility to get treatment and with it came the realization that Seijin was a natural born predator, one step above vampire's on the food chain. As such he needed to be closely monitored so he wouldn't attack another vampire and that his mental state was stabilized. Seijin was kept inside of a hospital for five years before he finally broke free, fleeing into the shadows and becoming a night hunter, like his ancestors once were. His targets always ended up being other vampires, those who were alone and could easily be silenced. He skulked in the shadows for weeks and months before he attacked a group of vampires in order to feed his growing hunger. The three he attacked were armed to the teeth and after a blood fist fight they came to terms. Seijin join up with them and their gang and he would be allowed to feed on the other members as necessary. A strange, but good deal in Seijin's eyes and he accepted. Seijin was happy with his arrangement and made sure that whenever he could, he would outdo his allies. If they beat three rivals, Seijin beat ten. He was talented in the realm of the underground, and much appreciated. He was revered that he became a high priority target for security across the city. Seijin slipped up when he was twenty, having wanted to raid another gang's base and to do it alone. When he got to the enemy factions hideout, Seijin was immediately surrounded by law enforcement, Seijin didn't even put up a fight, he knew that he wouldn't be able to get out of that situation. He went to jail and while he wasn't put in for life, three years without proper nutrition, especially after such feasts before, left him desperate. He stepped in front of court and after checks, he was let go, again closely monitored. Seijin was welcome for any food that he could get, and while he wasn't free, he felt like he had no chains tying him down anymore. As his parole officer talked to him, Seijin became more interested in law enforcement, after all, they had caught him, starved him, then released him back out into the world after only three years of suffering. His parole officer pointed him towards Dragatha Investigations, though he was warned not to get his hopes up due to his criminal background. Seijin was willing to place his bet on getting a job so that way he could feed himself and no longer rely on the government and his family to keep him alive. [Application Reason]Seijin wants the money that comes with the job as well as its benefits so he can feed himself without resorting to the illegal. Despite his criminal past, Seijin feels like if he starts working like this, he will become a more honest man and that this is the first step in separating himself from his past life. Luckily, his family is supportive of his recent choices, which makes his conviction for change stronger. Maggie was adopted by an elven couple and after a good month after they adopted her began to notice random changes throughout the house. However one fine evening the soon realized what type of child they had gotten when their two year old daughter's face poped up on every technological device in their house. A mage, and a technomancer at that, something neither had been prepared for. However they decided thankfully to keep her and nurture her gift. Over the years Maggie became rather proficient in her craft and even began learning how to work with computers without it. As such she spent a lot of time indoors and while she enjoyed her parents she knew they were a little afraid of her powers. Afterall it was well known that a mage's powers were linked to their emotion and knowledge, if she got too excited who knows what could happen. So Maggie kept a tight grip on her emotions, which made making friends rather difficult. While she did go to college with other mages she never felt completely part of the group. So after accomplishing her degree in computer forensics she worked primarily online. But she hated working for the bank, making sure others couldn't hack them was not fun to her. Hacking was fun, so naturally in her down time she began hacking again until she stumbled on some sensitive information, learning the bank she worked for had too many ties to organized crime. After learning that she quit and handed her findings to the authorities. Nothing happened, and all the while Maggie hated that. For sometime after showing her info to the police the questioned her to be a part of their computer crimes division, but she knew it would be back to the same old grind of tracking. Not to mention she didn't want to work for an organization that did nothing when evidence was thrown at them. So she decided to apply to the small independent investigative team. After all they should have some more purpose right? Why are you applying for this job?: Simple, because she wants to do something more with her life than just keep systems safe. There needs to be more than just corruption somewhere out there. Maggie thinks that if she can help someone learn the truth about something or catch someone then her life has more meaning. Essentially she wants a purpose, and some adventure. Appearance:  Intern 3: The Written Storyteller Name: Allen Allendale Age: 17 Gender Male Race: Neko Tell us a little bit about yourself(bio): Allen's history is a bit, shrouded. There wasn't much to tell about who he was, or who he had become. Many questions, needed to be answered. But some were avoided without a trace of thought. Who is Allen, no one really knows for sure. He keeps to himself when it becomes to important. Dragging himself along with the others, he keeps all information locked inside. He doesn't really trust most people, nor his own. Usually people just describe him as a Drifter. Someone who has little memory of his child hood. Or Rather forced himself to forget anything that was regretful. He keeps a scarf around his face, something he doesn't want others to notice. But the locals do know a bit who he was before he became a puppet to the government. Something that had happened when he was very young. Just because of his features, he is mistaken for a female. Probably i you think about it. It could be something personal. Why are you applying for this job?: No reason, just felt underhanded in the cash department. But willing to offer any talent he possesses. As well Services. Or maybe he has something he needs to accomplish and this might be his way to find what hes looking for. No one really knows what goes inside this boy's mind. All we do know, the pain he still feels. Quenches for blood. Whether he gets the job or not, hes still willing to go that far to find what hes looking for. Whether it costs him his life. Any hobbies?(likes): Usually he can be found playing at the arcade, sometimes he uses this to gather any type of gossip that has been spreading around the locals. But mostly does this because hes bored and has nothing else exciting to do. He also hangs out at the park, just staring off at the night. Being lazy as usual. His other hobbies require scouting and maintaining cover for his illusion. He knows how to mask his voice and was really intrigue by learning it. Well it just became a habit and he picked off quickly. But he loves reading about mystery novels like Sherlock Holmes and any type of other mystery novels that peaks his interest. Plus he trains his body to become flexible, he never really keeps track on how many days he practices this every night. It just becomes a routine that happens everyday. He's also interested in Sewing and Economic free base. Even with little he possesses he can make do with what he has. Hes not picky about many things, just he rather have them be finished. But he does enjoy music, any type of music that might help him work his brain. Hes also found talented with violins. Don't know why, but he picked it up by a trader at a local pawn shop. Anything that might affect your duties?(dislikes): He's very lactose and tolerant meaning he can't have any dairy type of drinks or food. He breaks out in hives and man do they itch badly. But he also has a handicap which puts him at a very bad advantage. Mostly His left eye was punctured from a previous fight and was unable to pay for the surgery. So hes really stuck with what he has. Plus hes afraid of water, for some reason he can't stand it nor can he withstand the pressure looking at it. It just gives him the chills. And last, he sucks at lying. He never has been a good liar, so if he tells you something. It's always true. Fears?: Fear of water usually as well Heights. He doesn't like heights nor water. He gets all nervous and becomes unstable. Mostly hes very useless when it comes to stalking a prey or attacking from behind. But he makes up for it, with ground movements. Appearance:  Intern 4: Yuri_Misawa Name: Elsa "Ellie" Montgomery Age: 19 Gender: Female Race: Human (Spider? (See Bio to answer the confusion)) Tell us a little bit about yourself(bio): Elsa was born and raised to parents of high status: they were politicians. They had high expectations for their daughter to follow their footsteps, making sure she studied and excelled in all academics, which she managed to do throughout her school years to where she graduated high school at 16 years old. As a bonus much to the dismay of her parents, she performed above average in sports, especially in volleyball as she was the MVP of the team. After high school, she attended university for a law degree and participated in volleyball once again. After her final semester, cultists on her campus kidnapped her and planned to use her as a sacrifice to their spider goddess Arcana. The ritual was a success as she had become an embodiment of Arcana, although none of the cultists saw the light of day ever again seeing that newly resurrected Arcana was hungry. Before the last cultist perished, he managed to seal Arcana in the form of a spider tattoo. By the time Elsa came to, she had been sleeping for three days in a hospital with her parents nowhere in sight. When she asked for her parents, her records indicate that she was orphaned. When she was released from the hospital, she returned home only to see her parents were raising another child they adopted. They had already start over and when she wanted to be back in their lives, all they did was help her pack her stuff and enough money for travel. They no longer wanted her because they couldn't afford be associated to a freak like her. That was her first heartbreak and she didn't know what to do, but no one in England wanted anything to do with her, so she left her native country, rented a run-down apartment and got herself a job at a fast food restaurant. Every day at work she hear people talk about bad things happening to good people, but the police seem incapable of pursuing the criminals and keeping them locked up due to crooked men in the justice system. No way was she going to stand idly by while the innocent suffered like she has, and when she overheard two male customers planning to rob the restaurant , she knew that she had to do something about it. Over the course of two weeks, she made sure to gather evidence by being their usual waitress, positioning her phone in a secluded area that recorded their conversations since they always sat at the same table, and when able, she followed them to note down anything that can be useful to police. One night she followed the two customers home, oddly feeling comfortable within the shadows since she had always feared the dark. When she followed them into an alley, she accidentally stepped on a cat's tail, which alerted the two males to her presence. Both of them took out their pistols and opened fire on her, and at first she thought she was going to die. Suddenly, time seemed to have slowed for her because for some strange reason, the bullets were moving so slow for her. This allowed her to evade the gunshots toward her. When they ran out of bullets, they came after her with knives. Once again, the pair were so slow from her perspective, and in the midst of her evading the knives, a natural instinct to fight kicked in that allowed her to take out the two. The gunshots alerted the police to that location, and it seemed like there was no way for her to escape because they were surrounding the area. However, this led to her discovery of another ability she had: wall crawling. This came from her attempt to grab onto the fire escape by jumping from a dumpster, but she had missed her target and was about to face plant into the wall. Her hands had attached themselves to the wall and from there she was able to get away. The lawyer involved in the case against the two males secretly received evidence from Elsa from robberies they committed in the past they were never captured for as well as their plans of robbing the restaurant that led to their arrest. Through some hard work, she discovered more of her abilities (shooting webs from her palms, some kind of sixth sense that warned her of impending danger, etc...], and when she heard of Dragatha Investigators Inc, she figured that her unusual skills can be useful as well as her law degree can help with legal issues, so she applied for the internship. Why are you applying for this job?: Since Elsa has been abandoned, she has been stuck with no purpose until she witnessed others being afflicted by crime, some similar to what happened to her. Not wanting others to suffer the same fate and needing to put her recon skills and law degree to good use, she can be a valuable asset to Dragatha. Because of his years, he has learned a tragic ending to his career and wants to see if this investigation can be solved. There has been sightings of murders within the mansion he has been working for 40 years. And no one has seen a sight of an appearance of a phenomenon that has been occurring for the past 2 months. The police were not very helpful, but was given a business card from one of his clients that helped with his problem a few weeks ago. Allen was one of his investigators, scrounging enough Allen told Mr. Jenkins there has been a sight of blood trails. But it was best to not advance any further instead getting help from this business. So on the due date that he was given and the time when it was open. Mr. Jenkins hopes if this sort of people could help him with his problem. Problems that might fall upon him that might become necessary for a cover up. (He will pay greatly for any services. Approx: $400.00's. And 3 years in the military serving as one of the US Army Marines. With a bit experience he learned from his act of duty he was trained to find clues and evidence. But recently there has been reports about Assassinations within his own company unit. But clearly no one has a clue who could it be. For 2 years now everything was put down as a warrant. A Legal Document for the Police. The Swat Force was not to intervene in there research. For about 2 months and 2 weeks and 3 days. Mr. Jackson was put into jail for suspicion of assassinations. All clues and evidence would point to him. Even so he was given a chance to clear that investigation by asking someone to find the real assassin. Allen came along and noticed that his life would change by this blame. Giving the man a business card to Dragatha Inc.
