So i finally watched Spice and wolf and it was totally not what i expected!

that was the cutest anime i watched in a long time... heart

do you guys know if there is a season 2 ?

i think i will read the manga if it continues... 4laugh

Yes it does have a second season! It's a bit moodier, but the new characters and world building are worth it.

Spice and Wolf was great. I wish they animated more of it, but the light novel series has ended.

I had the same pleasant surprise in that it wasn't what I had expected it to be. All the mercantile discussion makes the series fairly intelligent and interesting, and the landscapes and towns are gorgeous to look at and help reinforce the feel of the series in terms of the era it's set in.

I've been reading the light novels for a while now (albeit slowly sweatdrop ) in order to delve into their world further than what the two animated seasons cover.
