Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe

Backstage, Samoa Joe is seen making his way to the ring, wearing his signature black and green entrance shirt with his name on it, and carrying his signature white towel, over his shoulder. He has the face of a competitor, a real fierce competitor, ready to head down to the ring and kick some a**. He passes several people in the hallway towards the entrance curtains, and the people look scared of him. He ignores them, and he makes his way to the curtains before his music plays.



Samoa Joe's intimidating theme song begins to play in the arena, with it's slow, start. The audience cheers, knowing the history of this wrestler about to make his way to the ring. He walks out from backstage, the lights shining green throughout the arena with some yellow too. He walks down the ramp with a tank top shirt on and his normal wrestling gear on as well, he stops after walking out a good distance, giving the audience a big look and looks towards the ring and walks down the ramp, being introduced..



"From the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds, SAMOA JOEEEE!"

Joe makes his way down the ramp, to the steps. He walks up them, getting on the apron. he looks at the audience before getting in the ring. He walks to the opposite ropes and does his raise of the arm taunt. He takes his shirt off, and tosses it and his towel outside of the ring. He then glares at his opponent/waits for him to come out.

ROMAN REIGNS

"BELIEVE... THAT!"

The crowd settled upon coming back from commercial. Loud and proud of it he was as usual. And in a few moments they would grow to new heights of cheers. The sound of the heavy metal clashing sharply began loudly with assistance from the PA system as members of the crowd made their way to their feet and directed their heads to the box seats. They knew who was coming, and it was only a matter of time before he had gotten there. The blaring music viciously stomped it's way into the arena bringing forth cheers and an only growing pop when the big man; Roman Reigns stepped out onto the top of crowd's step-way. Fans close to him began to snap pictures with their flashes and some touched him just to say they did. To no avail Roman's facial expression never changed. His eyes focused only on the ring and the two competitors inside. However he did note to take in the electricity the crowd was giving off as he looked around his surroundings. These people paid to see a show. They paid to see Roman Reigns. Roman began his long awaited walk down the aisle heading down to the outer-ring floor as fans screamed in his ear, sometimes even literally, and held up signs for him to notice. He kept his head low moving through the valley of the people and eventually had gotten down to the barricaded area that separated the crowd from the ring floor. Stopping, Reigns would look around again as he grasp the barricade wall and slowly made his way over. After, he'd then walk up the staircase leading to the ring and once on the apron, Roman would proceed to ascend up onto the top turnbuckle. Where together he would bring forth his arms and flex, raising them to the sky inwards together. The crowd cheered on the Juggernaut as he then looked to the stage. Getting down off of the turnbuckle, Roman would then enter the ring.

Samoa Joe stands across the ring from his opponent, Roman Reigns. A fellow Samoan.

"DING DING DING" the bell sounded.

Joe walks up to Roman reigns, offering a handshake.  

[Velveteen Dream]

Reigns looked down at the hand of Joe, stepping up to him and shook his hand.  

[Submission Machine]

Samoa Joe then nods, letting go. He backs up, and squares off with Roman, circling the ring.

Roman backed up as well and then soon shuffled forward with arms raised looking for a potential lock-up.

Samoa Joe moves forward accepting the test of strength between these two Samoan monsters.

Reigns attempted to transition the lock-up in Joe's head for a headlock

Joe was now in the headlock, and after several moments of being in it, he slowly backs him and Roman up to to the ropes and pushes him off to the opposite ropes.

Reigns went forward seeing as though Samoa Joe had pushed him to the ropes forward of him. He then rebounded them and had come back at Joe with a little more speed picked up.

Once Roman came back to Joe, Joe turns around going for a back elbow to knock Roman down for a second.

Roman was sent to the mat from the back elbow rolling onto the mat and away from Joe into the turnbuckle corner seated. Feeling his jaw/mouth for blood. Surprised not to see any.

Samoa Joe followed Roman to the corner, picking him up enough to go for his signature round of jabs to the face!  

[Velveteen Dream]

Roman was hit with a arsenal of jabs. But attempted to not be the only man on the defense here, seeing as he attempted to make this war even coming back with some hefty uppercuts albeit they many as jabs. But they were effective.

After the jabs, Samoa joe was countered by some punches from Reigns, and he finally starts staggering back a couple steps
