It seemed something out of a child fairy tale, a Kingdom with perfect peace and harmony, where all races lived without war. A place that seemed filled with equality and perfection, a perfect Kingdom to one's family's tree. The king would sit upon his large, and golden throne and extend a helping hand to subjects without raising taxes, or expecting something in return. His beautiful wife sits at his side being a role model for the younger ladies through out the kingdom.
So it wouldn't surprise anyone if this kingdom had a very dark tale, a dark and ancient spell, that could bring the whole realm into complete darkness. The tale was of a power crazed magician, who opened the abyss long ago hoping to end the world, his plan was foiled and the abyss was closed.
When the realm started to pick itself back up from their fall, they hid the spell the dark magician deep in one of the temples that survived the darkness. And soon the Realm and the kingdom was back in peace and time wore one. The story of the realms darkness was soon passed as a story wet nurses would tell the children to keep them in line.
One day the skies darkened, the clouds were pitched black, to black to be the normal clouds during a storm. Bright lines, which flashed like lightening, exploded throughout the sky to form some kind of spell that the people weren't familiar with. They stared in shock as the sky was split in half and a twister like figure filled with darkness came down to the land.
Another kingdom sprung up in the shadows on the other side of the realm. It took months before anyone knew what this new kingdom was and when they found out, war had started. These creatures took the color red, from the blood they split. They took half the realm within weeks of coming out of their shadow kingdom. The people's king did everything in his power to keep his people safe, but alas, these shadow demons were to much.
Fearing his families safety he sent them to one of the temples, hiding them until this war was over, whenever it would end. Once his family was safe he summoned great warriors around the realm to help fight off the darkness. He also summoned the smartest scholars to figure out how the abyss was reopened without the spell.
With such a peaceful realm, who would want to open the Abyss?

► Let's at least attempt to make our posts pretty? Pictures, lyrics, quotes, anything. I love seeing the ideas what people have in their post. If you're not very creative, or don't know how to create a posting layout, come to me and I'll help out.
► When posting lets not use ReallyBrightColors, some people can't read them, so let's respect them. The font of your posting text shouldn't be under Ten or over Twelve. Decorations for lyrics, or quotes on your post can be any sized font. If it's to small, people probably wont read it. Also no really big posting layouts or pictures, it shouldn't take the whole page up.
► Send all reservations, and profiles to me. Title your reservation 'Red like blood', and for your profile title it 'Blue as the sky'. I'm picky when it comes to pictures, if it doesn't fit the era, or if it's inappropriate, you'll have to fine a new picture. Also add a neutral .
► Romance should be kept at pg-16. Like stated before, time skip, DO NOT continue in this thread.
