Natural Ability: Xanther, like all spiders, has the natural ability to make and weave spider webs. These threads are sticky as well as firm enough to ensnare his prey, making it hard for them to escape. His preys are mostly insects They appear to be rich gold when light strikes them.
Personality:
Xanther is smart, usually friendly, and easily annoyed. This youkai right here loves talking and living in a carpe diem-ish style. He's doesn't pay much attention to the consequences of his actions, making him a bit of a loose cannon at times. He is also impulsive and fearless, which frequently gets him in trouble. Xanther is also a bit of a teaser, specially those who are hot headed and rude-- skillfully deceiving them into thinking he's weak, later showing them his not-so-friendly cunning intelligence. This spider boy is a hopeless flirter, and often looks for someone to flirt with. Strangely, he doesn't posses a cold heart and dislikes solitude, which is a Jorōgumo's common trait.
Xanther takes great pride in his appearance. Although he is a bit of an egoistical narcissist sometimes, knowing well that he may attract plenty by his looks.
He enjoys designing webs, lazying about from time to time.... anything fun and outgoing. Something he loathes is water, he can't swim for his life.
Although he seems like a laid back yokai, Xather enjoys the outdoors. He loves parkour. Heck, it wouldn't be surprising to see him rush through the hallways and see him climb on top of the lockers. His hobbies are gossiping and causing mischief.
Strengths:
+Bold: This spider has the will to get things done despite the risks-- willing to risk shame or rejection in social situations, or to bend rules of etiquette.
+Active: Xanther would do anything that gets his adrenaline pumping and sometimes convinces others to part-take on his wild activities.
Weaknesses:
-Pride: Believing he is truly the best, Xanther tends to cross the line with his pride. For him, his accomplishments should be acknowledged and praised. He loathes when someone tries to outshine him and will attempt to prove his abilities to that individual.
-Nosy: Xanther is a fly, or rather a spider on the wall-- curiously prying into other's businesses. Getting mixed up, in their businesses, which has no relationship to him whatsoever. Often he goes out of his way to find out information about anything that in no way pertains to anything he cares about.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? He is the youngest of 1400. He has 1399 sisters and he's considered the spiderling of the colony. His mother wished him to harden his heart and mature for once and for all, she thinks he will not be able to survive on his own and fears he might become a yellow-belly, good for nothing ne'er-do-well. Not to mention, she constantly pressures him to act according to his species, hoping he will change his habits before he reaches adulthood.
