As the heavens send down their wrath against the creatures of
this world, I could only hear the sound of panic and fear among these animals
as they try to flee from what would be their end and yet no matter how far
and wide away they are the great tide followed once the asteroid fell and it's
shockwave killing any that was within it's reach, but, for a moment when I
looked up into the sky, I could visibly see the star's night sky and from that
moment I was being called back up and so I start up my ship's rusty engines
and flew off, though I did brought company and my little velociraptor friend
was at first scared to come aboard but I used a little something to help him
come aboard and now he's sleeping in the common area close to my bed
room in case the cold floor is uncomfortable to him.
We're now far away from Earth's atmosphere and as I look back the
devastation caused by the asteroid was way more destructive than what I
could've predicted even after the shockwave had stopped, even after the
great tide ceased, the fires would flood among the planes and shall burn a
path to a new era. And I just watched and waited and watched over my
scaly friend as his own species was wiped out, well when you've got a pet
that can think as I do, he seems much more calm after a month has passed
and as for cleaning up after his emotional breakout and informing him why
I brought him only and not his entire pack, he's quite understanding.
Seeing Earth like this is heartbreaking and painful to me at best, as for my
friend, he only seem different on a level that he's both sad and not, but at
least there aren't any more asteroids falling. Though as the ashes fall and the
fires still burning on Earth, a much more beautiful scene blooms out of the
ground and rotting corpses, so now I know that this planet isn't entirely lost
because she too wants to live and so maybe sooner or later we'll pay her
a visit and see what else came out of the ashes.
