In this life and the next, our sins are what weighs us down at the noose. Centuries ago, our planet prospered, maintaining steady trade routes with our colonies on the fringes of our galaxy but the sins of our forefathers brought it crashing in on us. Greed and spite caused the war but negligence doomed us. It was the jump drives that flooded the planet with low level radiation but no one ever thought it would destroy our jump routes. Our planet died, destroying all but the hardiest of life. New creatures developed in time to survive or even thrive in the radiation. Even humanity, in all its so called wisdom and power, regressed to the point of near extinction. Having nothing left they looked far into the past, to a time in which they could survive in harsh deserted wastelands. And now this is our world, cut off from the stars by our own sins.

Not much is known of his early life but one thing is known throughout the wastelands is his recent history as a mass murderer. Through underground sources he and a band of bandits acquired an ancient anti ship missile warhead and used it to hold a water mining town hostage. After three days it was reported that the town had been destroyed in a massive explosion. Jesse was later found miles from the site, nearly dead. Escaping and evading the law he became a bounty hunter to slowly pay off his own bounty.
