Saw the world premiere today. Pretty excited for it. The new setting is victorian england during the industrial revolution. Story revolves around bringing the templar ran upper class to heel and allowing the poor lower class to rise up from the dirt. It involves street gangs and all the other fun bits of typical assassin's creed, but it has plenty of new features and improved gameplay and graphics.....inspires rp ideas, it does. 3nodding

They already stated they wouldn't do a game set in WWII, so they're getting close to the cut off imo.

There is pre-history and future history to run around in, but they are no where near out of current world history places and events.

Novama There is pre-history and future history to run around in, but they are no where near out of current world history places and events. I doubt they'd jump into pre-history since we know so little about civilizations in that time, plus the templars came about during the crusades (unless it's different in AC...) Future history I'm also not sure of. No real reason, just am.

but regardless of the future of the series, I'm looking forward to this victorian game. However, looking at all black and white pictures of the place and time, I wonder which one better captures the atmosphere of the period.
