My first thought is Hirunaka no Ryuusei. Like the love triangle is serious business because both guys are amazing characters and both get a lot of development along with the girl. And personally I couldn't choose a ship because the heroine has such good compatibility with both guys and I honestly could not forsee who she would choose in the end aha...
Like most mangas I've read or animes I've watched, it's pretty easy to tell which is the main canon ship, and the love rival is too weak to sink it.
I'd also recommend Vampire Knight (manga, I'm not sure how far the anime is or if it stayed true to the author's agenda). The ending really got me!!
