Full Name: Lawrence Arthur Campbell Nickname: Law Age: 23 Role:Lance Corporal of the British Army Height: 6’1” Weight: 175 lbs Personality: Friendly, Sweet, and gentle, Lawrence is a kind hearted young man who really has no place in a war zone. When he’s around the other men of his platoon he tries to be another one of the guys, gross and crazy like the rest of them, but at the end of the day he always enjoys the quiet of a night curled up with a book or writing a letter home. Most of the time he just fumbles about awkwardly, trying not to get in the way.
Bio: Lawrence was born as the first son to Jane and David Campbell, their third and last child together. Before he was born, without even knowing the man, Lawrence lost his father to the First World War, as it was soon to be remembered. As such, he was born into a fatherless household surrounded by women from sunup to sunset, and while a picture of his father always watched from the fireplace mantel it wasn’t like having a real dad around all the time.
Their home was a small and humble one, both of Lawrence’s sisters shared a bedroom on the top floor of their little apartment in the heart of London. His mother occupied the smaller bedroom across the hall from the girls, while Law took the middle floor bedroom beside the kitchen. It wasn’t much, but that was a home every bit worth growing up in. Jane worked full time at the garment factory down the road, and his older sisters Sandra and Carolyn took turns looking after their little brother when their mother wasn’t around. Sure he was tortured, he was the younger brother to two big sisters, but the makeovers with their mom’s makeup and hair supplies weren’t all that bad in the scheme of things. Even in high school, when Sandra was off worrying about marriage and Carolyn was three years ahead of him in school, even then it was never bad.
And then the war started. Jane must have cried for weeks when they got the letter, and Lawrence wasn’t in much better shape. He was 21, the perfect age to be drafted, and that’s just what they’d done, drafted the man out of the house to die like his father. Six months of training was somber and hollow, and even with writing home every day he couldn’t stand being away from them. When training was over they only made it worse, sending him away to some odd outpost in France, a place where he didn’t speak their language, didn’t know the people, and on a battlefield no less. But he paid his dues, did his time there, and they transferred him again, this time further west where he’d hoped to be farther from the front. One can only hope that at 23 he lives to see his family again.((So... umm... I can totally add to this, we just didn't really agree to how much we wanted on our profiles, and I couldn't wait to get things started so I just kept it kind of small. Can't wait to get started!))

Name. Éléonore (Elenor) Beaumont Age. 21
Weight. 138 lbs Height. 5' 7"
Personality. Elenor is probably the most balanced person she knows. She understands what she wants and what she needs and is excellent at keeping/maintaining her boundaries and limitations. She's brilliant, and she knows it. Very intelligent, Elenor is one to be overcritical of herself and only sometimes others. Also very capable, she is wonderfully skillful at multitasking. Firm with whom she works with, she can sometimes be intolerant of others and their situations. Prefers to work alone, but can put up a friendly front if need be.
Bio. From a very young age, Elenor's parents knew she was very emotionally different than other children. She always preferred to work alone, play alone, read alone. She was still perfectly fine with interacting with others, but was still seen as odd by the other children she was usually around. She grew up the oldest of four kids in the rural suburbs outside of Paris, and she was constantly relied on to help support her ever growing family.
At the age of 12, her parents divorced, and that made a deep mark on Elenor, mentally and emotionally. She became even more closed off, and as she grew, her demeanor continued as she finished high school and continued to college. She chose to go into medicine and nursing not because she would need to interact with people, but because the work fit her. Clean cut lines, everything has its place, objective outcomes, etc. She would be able to space herself from others while helping others, and that seemed to appeal to her greatly.
She graduated college with honors and soon found a job at a hospital in downtown Paris. When the war began, she signed up to volunteer out at military bases for the Allies, seeing it as another opportunity to go somewhere new, get even more space from the home she never seemed to enjoy.
