Quote: Substitute Teacher X can be found in the Weeping Woods. He requires you to wear a tie. However, at the edge of the woods, a giant basket full of them is available. Handy! Minigame: X wants you to fetch him something from the woods. A piece of a shadow. He gives you and bottle and says well? Go on then. Roll 2d4 until you make the numbers match. Otherwise, match the results. Odd: You go in circles, again and again, finding the same signs pointing left and right, until you finally give up and turn back. Even: A giant snarl can be felt almost behind you, but upon looking, no one is there. But you heart footsteps, getting closer, getting closer still. Run. Match: At the crossroads, you finally wait for the beast to come, and it emerges from the darkness, hopeful. As it turns out, it just wanted some pets. You scoop part of its shadowy tail into your jar, and bring it back to X, who awards you 3 candies. NOTE: If you are related to shadows in any way, or are dressed in formal wear, you get +1 additional candy. She began to notice a strange trail of students meandering about the weeping forest, from where she was perched up in a tree taking a nap. Today was some sort of special day for them in Halloween, apparently, which had them all dressed up in sorts. Bored with nothing to do, Gzifa hopped off her perch and followed one of them around, picking up a tie and putting it on as he had done. A piece of shadow? Gzifa stared back at the faceless man, not quite comprehending what he meant. Nevertheless she set off into the woods, relying on her sense of smell to sniff out...whatever it is she might find. Probably her lunch, she thought. The horsewoman stood at the crossroads in anticipation, sensing that something was about to come by. Dagger summoned and ready to fight, Gzifa was mildly disappointed to find the beast snuggled up to her and begging for pets. As it left her sopping wet from overly affectionate licks, the horsewoman would notice its wispy tail and scoop up a piece of shadow into the bottle. Heh. That went well. As soon as the candies were handed over, the horsewoman tore off the tie and headed towards the school. Perhaps there was something for her to do today after all.

Quote: Etiquette Teacher - Office Link The office door is decorated with cobwebs. There are two little jack-o-lanterns on either side of it and a couple fake, mechanically flickering torches temporarily mounted on the walls. After you knock on the door and announce the proper Trick-or-Treat! plea, Professor Winter answers the door, dressed as Hit Girl. Your character must be in costume - Otherwise, she will turn you away! Minigame: Professor Winter seems to want you to work for your candy. Give her your best ROAR! Roll a 1d4: 1: Your roar is awful. She grudgingly gives you 1 candy for trying. 2: You manage to make a sufficient amount of noise. You get 2 candies from her! 3: Your roar echoes off the walls, and startles a few students down the way. 3 candies! 4: It was so loud that it actually knocked one of the fake torches off the wall! Winter is impressed. Have 4 candies. Once you've gotten your candies from Winter, you may move on! Any attempts to linger near her office will be taken as an invitation for surprise homework. Best get moving! Walking down the hallways, the horsewoman spotted a door that was almost too suspiciously covered in cobwebs. Barging in after a few knocks, the horsewoman entered with her hair tangled with the wispy material, staring at the teacher inside with much puzzlement. Her outfit could have passed her off as an amazonian warrior, which must have been the case as she was asked to give a mighty roar. Gzifa smirked, wondering if the people of Halloween were truly so curious about the mighty war clan. The battle cry echoed through the walls, startling a few who would pass by the open door. Easy, she thought, claiming her candy and setting off.

Quote: Substitute Teacher - Office Link The small, closet-like space is positively claustrophobic at the moment. Whether by design or simply a happy accident, the room is filled with the bones of giant creatures. Massive rib bones, still fresh with tattered connective tissue adhered here and there, tower overhead. The traditional lantern resting on the cluttered desk illuminates a series of talon-tipped phalanges laid out in precise order. The chair and stool are bracketed by enormous pelvic bones, the cot is sagging under the weight of several massive vertebrae. The skull next to the desk is large enough to swallow a student whole, and a strange dark liquid puddles out from between it's grinning teeth. The pale professor sits amongst the dimly-lit remains as though it were a day like any other. No costume necessary, this professor would not recognize the difference. Minigame: Professor Walker is paying more attention to the bones around him, replying to your candy request with a rather cryptic "Hmm, yes... Help yourself." Roll a 1d4: 1: You can see some shiny candy wrappers being jealously hoarded by a pair of Treasure Treats. Moving slowly and carefully, you claim one out from under their intense gaze. (1 candy) 2: You spot a bowl of candy nestled within the giant skull's eye socket. As you reach into it, a weird sound echoes from inside the cranium, startling you. (2 candies) 3: There is an ironically skull-shaped bowl next to a leaning stack of leg bones. You successfully grab some candy, but feel a warm and sinister breath on the back of your hand as you pull back. (3 candies) 4: There is a convenient bowl on the desk, and you pick out some candy from amidst the small bones contained within. "Safest choice, yes," the professor comments, glancing at something unknown in the darkest corner of the office. (+4 candies) Once you've gotten your candies from Professor Walker, you may move on! Something about his office makes you uncomfortable, best not linger. The next room she wandered into had her nodding in approval at the choice of décor. She was glad that some of the Halloween denizens had the same tastes as them from the war clan. As she was told to help herself to the candy, the horsewoman made her way to the pile that was being hoarded by the tiny treats, deliberately taking one from the pile with a smirk on her face. Yes, for me.

Quote: Modern Scaring Teacher Too new to have set up a proper office, Dr. Mil has commandeered a classroom and filled it with phony rows of corn, each plant nearly reaching the ceiling. If you care to meander your way through the room, you will eventually find the reaper's desk, the reaper herself sitting behind it. She is wearing a simple pantsuit and a shoulder-length auburn wig. On the desk in front of her rests a badge of some unknown human world authority with the name Dana Scully written under Mil's picture. The Kid, her vulture familiar, sits on the table as well. His badge reads Fox Mulder, but he is not otherwise in costume. Million would prefer it if you were in costume, but she appreciates your natural scariness even if you are not. Minigame: There are overturned five cups in front of Mil. All you have to do is choose the one with the ghost under it. If you ask her why the ghost, her only response is "Hollywood loves ghosts." Generate a random number between 1 and 5: 1: You chose the demon! You get one candy for trying. 2: You chose the reaper! You get one candy for trying. 3: You chose the ghost! You get four candies! 4: You chose the monster! You get one candy for trying. 5: You chose the demon! You get one candy for trying. Once you've gotten your candies from Dr. Mil, you may move on! Gzifa let out a grunt as she eyed the tall corn at filled the office. She had been done with the maize maze just a while back, and she really did not like being towered over by plants. Weaving her way through, she found herself greeting the professor at the desk nonetheless. The horsewoman stared at the five cups, unsure of what to think. They were all identical, and she couldn't quite sniff out the candy from one of them specifically. Shrugging, she made a grab from the nearest one, finding a candy under it for her troubles.

Quote: Human Relations Teacher - Office Link Selene's Office is completely covered in spiderwebs, from top to bottom. In the spiderwebs are spiders (of course) but also a lot of plastic snakes. The walls are covered in glittery Halloween decorations, all of which smile happily as you enter. Smiling pumpkins, smiling bats, smiling skeletons, smiling witches - everyone is happy to see you! Selene is sitting on the edge of her desk carefully, wearing a flapper dress from the human era called the 1920's and trying desperately to pull her skirt down. Should you ask her about it, she will begin a very long and extensive history lesson, so! - maybe don't ask her about it. A dark blue sparkling skinned vampire is sitting in a chair with his feet resting up on the desk, wearing a 1920's mafia suit, and looking rather dangerous. You can hardly see Argyle's eyes from under the rim of the fedora, but rest assured he sees you, and he is judging. Still, it looks like Selene gave him the good candy - if you're looking for some Strickers* and Meeses Pieces*, you'll have to go to him. *May contain nuts and/or beetles. You must be in costume to enter Selene's Office! No exceptions! Minigame: Selene and Argyle want to know how your Human Studies has been progressing! Impress them with your knowledge by sharing a random human fact! (MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY WRITE A FACT - it can be wrong though just make sure it's written out!) Roll a 1d6: 1: Selene is impressed! She thinks that your information would make a great essay.. better take your candy and book it. (3 pieces) 2: Selene nods politely, and offers you a Baby Ruth**, and asks you if you thought they were made from real babies? How atrocious! (2 pieces) 3: Selene is absolutely enchanted by how well you've been learning. She practically showers candy at you. Bravo! Bravo! (5 pieces) 4: Argyle seems to be very attentive. When you finish, you realize that he's just been judgmentally staring right through you. (4 pieces) 5: Argyle scoffs before you can even finish, and begins to pedantically correct most of your fact. (3 pieces) 6: Argyle is clutching his face in response to your words. It would be a good idea to leave before you're lectured for being so offensive. (1 piece) Once you've gotten your candies from Selene or Argyle, you may quote Nio Love if you want a random (probably incorrect) fact about the 1920's, or you may move on! *may contain traces of peanuts, eggs, soy, and Ruth Oh, it was the snake lady again. And there was someone with her too. That didn't matter to her, and the horsewoman simply strode into the office with the same nonchalance as she had when she crashed one of Selene's open classes before. When asked to produce a human fact, the horsewoman furrowed her brows, trying to think of something to say other than “cattle” and “weak”. “ They beg for candy.” she stated simply, after much thought. That was enough to impress the snake lady apparently, as she was handed 3 candies for her thoughtful piece of insight.

Quote: Theater Teacher - Office Link As you knock and the demon opens the door you're greeted by an odd sight. For one thing, the professor, aside from his skin color and horns, looks like a particular reaper from a very popular human world book series. The small office is quite decorated yet it's obviously not done by him. There are Witches on broomsticks, bats, pumpkins, ghosts, and ALL are smiling. Snakes are all over the place, (also smiling) and the cobwebs are so thick and encompassing it's hard to imagine that one could add anymore. You notice that cobwebs are very much tangled in his horns as well. Not only must you be in costume, but as he is the theater teacher, Rengath wants you to ALSO act the part. REAL COSTUMES REQUIRE COMMITMENT! Minigame: As you're in costume, Rengath expects you to act the part, give him your best impression. Roll 1d4: 1: Your accent was a bit off, but otherwise it was a good show. 2 candies. 2: Superb! Rengath is notably impressed and awards you 3 candies. 3: You fumble a bit but manage a small monologue. He says to practice in front of a mirror before handing you a full sized candy bar and some gum. Two candies aw yeah! 4: You go full out but... It was so over the top Rengath tried very hard not to grimace. You get one candy. Once you've gotten your candies from Rengath, you may move on! She had been told to exit and re-enter, giving him the best battlecry she could as if she were at war. Gzifa would happily oblige, sweeping her way through the office and knocking over a good number of things along the way. “ Die!” she shouted, having forgotten the rest of her lines. The professor seemed a little unimpressed with the dialogue, but seemed to appreciate her knack for the action scenes.

Quote: Care of magical Creatures Teacher Pyres room is cold and a bit damp, lit by lanterns and candles here and there along the walls and even on the floor in some places. The walls are entirely made of stone of varying sizes and colors, and there seemed to be nothing decorated. In fact, the room seemed almost the exact same as usual.... difference being? A very, VERY tiny little cauldron of candy sat on Pyres wooden desk. Sitting on the desk close to the cauldron a cat-like creature looms over it, almost greedily. Its beady eyes watch you closely, sneezing once to reveal a small trail of smoke from its mouth. A pair of wings and a long scorpion like tail curls behind it, flicking with agitation. "To get to the candy you have to get past its guardian." The professor mutters, leaning back in her chair wearing her usual steam-punk like clothing as she watched you with narrowed eyes. Leave it to Pyre to come up with a game that could be dangerous too. Pyre doesn't care if you're in a costume. Roll 1d6 and match your response below. 1: You try your luck at just quickly grabbing some candy, but find yourself bitten instead. Pyre makes quick hints you should run to the infirmary, the creature was venomous. (no Candy) 2: You roll a ball of yarn, the cat chases it away. (+3 Candy) 3: You stop and stare, petrified or curious, at the creature... it takes pity on you and tosses some candy at you to go away. (+1 Candy) 4: You reach out and pet it, only to cut your hand on its sharp back spines. Luckily you find a candy on your way out. ( +1 Candy) 5: It didn't seem interested in you, it doesn't like what you're wearing so it turns its nose away. ( No Candy) 6: Finding a feather on the ground you try and tickle its nose - it sneezes fire and the feather burns in your hand. It gives you a candy for amusing it. (+1 candy) Once you've gotten your candies from Pyre, you may move on! NOTE: The venom from the cat (if rolled a 1) just gives mild stomachaches - Pyre was just being Dramatic. Stealing candy from others probably made her happier than getting the candy itself. Gzifa strode towards the cauldron, reaching her hand out towards the creature to nudge it away. Alas, it was a poor choice, and the horsewoman found herself nursing a cut hand. Petty as she was, she would still sneak a candy away as payback for drawing her blood.
