Mooching along the school's corridors, Kwasi had one goal in mind. A snack from the creepateria. He shuffled out of the way of some other students, dressed up and clutching pails of candy without really noticing - there was always something weird going on at the school. In fact, with there being no real dress code and students wearing pretty much anything they wanted, he had gotten into the habit of wearing his pyjamas all day every day. There hadn't been a conscious slide, but no one had called him out on it, and so he'd slid comfortably into the habit. ((The full transformation - taken from later posts
After getting a few questions as to what he was dressed up as - and some frantic thinking as Kwasi had no idea that he was supposed to be anything - the boil pulled his shirt up over his head and got a student to draw a spooky ghost face on it. Instant sleepy bedtime ghost. Feeling reasonably proud, he arrived at the next teacher.
Searching around for candies, Kwasi also surreptitiously swiped one of the plastic pumpkins and emptied his pockets into it. That would do for a candy pail, and matched with his home-made last minute costume.))

Arriving inside the Creepateria however, Kwasi was forced to pay attention to what was going on. Hanging back and watching students decorate cupcakes for candies .... oh. It was some kind of school pride thing - celebrating something. Perking up, Kwasi remembered the fright night festival he had visited some time back. Games were fun, rewards were fun, and it was all just for laughs. Wandering over cheerfully, he set to work making a few cupcakes.

While the boil purposefully tried to make them as horrible looking as possible, he quickly destroyed the second one. It hadn't come out right at all - and he fought down a flash of embarrassment at how ghouly it looked. Assuming it was supposed to be 4-8 9-12 13-15

However, the other two creations were appropriately horrible enough, and he shoved the received candy into his baggy pyjama pockets as he wandered out of the Creepateria, licking icing from his fingers. He wasn't sure what to think of the extra candy he had been slipped, or the slight shudder the teacher had gave him. Was that ... was that speciesist? He wasn't ugly, was he? Stopping in the hall, he noticed the rest of the students leaving were all heading in the same direction down the hall. He guessed that was the way to the next stop? After getting a few questions as to what he was dressed up as - and some frantic thinking as Kwasi had no idea that he was supposed to be anything - the boil pulled his shirt up over his head and got a student to draw a spooky ghost face on it. Standing in the doorway with his arms dangling out of his shirt, Kwasi considered walking through the room to get the candy, then watched a few other students nearly break their necks in the dark room, he reconsidered. With a small puff of inrushing air, the boil disappeared and a small firefly buzzed in the air where he had been. Fluttering over to the target bowl, he popped to full size again, scooping up three before bugging back out of the room. A few students pointed out that as he glowed naturally, he could have just walked in - being his own flashlight. Oh, right. The next room was a lot easier. Searching around for candies, Kwasi also surreptitiously swiped one of the plastic pumpkins and emptied his pockets into it. That would do for a candy pail, and matched with his home-made last minute costume. Tossing his newly found dust-flavored candy into it, he slid on out of the room before the teacher noticed his missing decoration.

At the next room, Kwasi felt a slight hint of unease. Wasn't this supposed to be fun games? Why were all the teachers in this school so weird. He watched another student limp out and fought down a frown. As his turn came up, he spotted a ball of yarn on the floor - mysteriously overlooked by the other students? Cats liked yarn, didn't they? Picking the ball up and tossing it stiffly, he shrugged as the cat bounded away. Guess they did. (600 words lmao)

Kwasi hadn't actually stepped inside the school's gym before. He had thought about it plenty, but well - the time had never come up. Heck, Kwasi hadn't raised a hand to another person since arriving at the school. Fighting in games was fun - but in real life you might get hurt. Due to his hesitation, he didn't actually recognize the teacher who's office he stepped into. If he did, he would have still stepped through the door, but with a little more trepidation in his heart. Gaping around at what he stepped into, Kwasi was pretty much blindsided by the most pathetic looking (candy) ghost of all times. He also failed to notice that he himself was also a rather sad looking misty ghost. Quote: Kwasi Battle?? Stats??Candy Doppleganger Hp: 7/10 Candy Doppleganger Dice: -5 auto Hp: 30/40 Dice: 2d8-6

Trying to push it away, he realized to his horror, that his flailing arms just passed through the candy creature. Thankfully its did the same, but each time it swung at him, he felt a little more sleepy. Quote: Kwasi Battle?? It was harder to stay awake after each candy ghost hit, and Kwasi tried not to think what would happen to him if he fell asleep in this place. Bad things, probably. Very bad things? Most likely. Finally with one last swing the candy spectre wobbled, then fell over and began to snore loudly. One sleepy shitty bedtime ghost had vanquished the other. Taking a few breaths and regaining his composition, Kwasi hastily stepped back out the door. Exiting the teacher's room in a rush, he firmly avoided eye contact with them. Quote: Kwasi Battle?? Arriving at the next office, Kwasi flinched inside his costume. Acting?? Could he go back and fight the candy ghost again? The teacher prompted him and gestured for his line, and so, glad his face was covered, Kwasi fumbled out a few words. "Uh ... iii ... a...h....I'm the ... ghost of ... sleeping. Boo...ooo..." He gave his hands an awkward wiggle, and shuffled on the spot. "I'll uh ... pp .. put you to sleep aand ... then sit on your faace.... oooo" Glowing (literally) with embarrassment, he received the two pity candy and shuffled out again. Yeah, he'd take getting punched in the face to that any day.

Feeling a bit harassed by the last two rooms, Kwasi took some time to himself outside the next room. Once he was feeling back on his feet, he stepped through and was promptly prompted by a professor. Schoolwork questions? Kwasi's groan was heartfelt, but he kept it inside him. This wasn't going to go on his grades, was it? He fumbled around for anything he could remember. Wait! He knew this! The fieldtrip! "Humans all communicate by shrieking! Also they balance their babies on windows to uh - make sure their children weight the same on both sides?" He looked down in confusion at the one candy dropped into his pail. It was true - he'd seen it! Teachers can be so unfair at times.
