Alexis Campbell Alexis exhaled, running his hands through his wild, very messy hair. He had recently gotten together with one of the most popular girls in the school, and though she'd insisted he cut his hair and interact with her friends, most of the time, he didn't, primarily because in many ways, he liked his hair and wasn't that fond of her friends, many of whom picked on others for amusement, often at the victim's expense. "Hey, Lenore," he said with an energetic grin. He smirked slightly as he saw one of his closest friends, although his 'new' girlfriend liked to tease Lenore by calling her 'Raven' after the Edgar Allen Poe poem.

♤Lenore Rose♤  ♤ Lenore ran her fingers through her brown hair, brushing her bangs away from her face. She ignored the teasing jeers and the snickering as she walked by. She was used to it by now; ever since Alexis started dating his girlfriend, people always snickered every time she walked by. It didn't bother her any, however. She opened her locker, to put the books she was carrying in there, hearing Alexis's voice behind her. Her heart raced a little bit, and she turned to face him, a small smirk on her face. "Hey.. Your girlfriend's not gonna throw a hissy fit if she sees you talking to me?"

Alexis Campbell Alexis shrugged as he exhaled softly. "If I'm honest, while she is pretty... honestly, she's really... well... between you and me... a b***h," he said softly, blushing a bit; he wasn't exactly known as being popular, more popular-by-association, not that he minded much. He was fairly sure his 'new' girlfriend would throw a fit that he was "still interacting with his" friends rather than her friends and hers alone.

♤Lenore Rose♤ ♤ Lenore nodded a little bit, shrugging one of her thin shoulders. "Well, she's yours, so.." She said to him in a small voice, almost sounding a little rude. Although she didn't mean to. She bit her lower lip. Lenore really liked Alexis. A lot. And she was kind of annoyed that he couldn't see that, but another girl caught his attention so easily. "I didn't mean that to be rude.. I just.." Once again, she shrugged her shoulder, looking up at him timidly. "If she's so bad, I don't understand why you are still dating her.. "

Alexis Campbell Alexis exhaled softly, glancing away. He wasn't sure how to explain what they'd found over the winter break. "She... thinks I owe her... since... um... my grandmother was diagnosed with... Stage 3 Chondrosarcoma," he said hesitantly.
