 gaia_angelleft Avery gaia_angelright Under the cold, yet warm lit sky, A. looks around his surroundings then at his clothes which have been torn ever since his arrival into this new yet mysterious world. Laying down beneath an old tree he gazes up into the sky remembering his arrival as he uses one of his tails to cover himself. "I really need to find a different way of traveling." he said to himself as he continues to wrap himself with the paper tail, then after finishing up he sat back up though the thought of him being the only person in the world seems to linger as he stood up and walked into the direction he faced. Looking back at the arrival site, he could see that it only look like a bon fire minus the wood and ash as he turns away and continue walking. Clenching his fist and looking up at the horizon and a strong will, he nods his head, "Alright starting from now, let's get some bearings of this land and see if there's any sign of civilization, hopefully it's a bit friendlier than the last one I met." he said though sounding a little worried on the last part of his sentence as he shrugged the feeling off and continued on his journey.

The air was cold and the forest was quite. The sound of running footsteps echo through the trees. Her breathing was heavy as she ran through the woods. "Don't let her get away!" Voices of guards echoed. -I can't... Need to hide...- A girl with short brown hair runs deeper into the forest. "I think she went this way!" The voices were drifting away, meaning she was farther then before. She kept running for a little longer, until she thought she was far enough. Stopping by the river, the current was fast but she had a way to get some from it. She laid her sword down, which was wrapped around her back when she was running. With her hands she scoped some water quickly and splashed it on her face, cleaning off the sweat. "That was close..." She said quietly to herself as she took some bandages out of her bag, putting them on some of her cuts she had on her hand.
Then a small crack of a branch alerted her behind her. Quickly reaching for her sword, she turn around with silence. There was nothing but darkness in the forest, but the sound kept coming closer. -Dang it those guards! They awoken the monsters.- A bear like figure walked out the darkness. It's eyes were red as blood, and fur pitch black. She stood up holding her sword by her side. Her hands her trembling as she was about to pull out her sword, and taking a step back. But the step she took made her slip into the water and drifted down the river. She kept hold of her sword, but was struggling to swim against the current. Before she knew it she came closer to a water fall. She tired to get a hold of something to stop her from falling but it failed and was drifted down the fall. The girl was out cold, and the water drifted her out on land.

Activity: Recently rescued unconscious individual
((OOC: It's alright, remember to check in once in a while if you've got the time.)) Finding a road along a river, A. continued and then stopped by the edge as the rushing river slowly flows into a steady stream, kneeling down to wash off the scorch marks on his sleeves he hangs his jacket onto the branch of a small tree. Later he heads back to the river to find a body drifting on the surface of the water and was taken back from the shock, but moved fast and jumped into the river to rescue the person. After a successful rescue and a short swim to the river's edge he looked at what he'd saved, a girl out cold and unresponsive. Pulling her out of the river, A. brings her to the tree he's taken shelter and after folding his jacket into a pillow, he rests the girls head upon it. " Well I finally found someone, except their out cold, *shivering* I should get a fire going before it gets cold out here." he said shiveringly with his arms wrapped around him. Gaining his composure he climbed up the tree and breaking a few branches, he gathered some rocks to make a fire pit and after piling a few branches together he lights a fire and placing the unconscious girl close to the pit to keep her warm. After removing some of her clothes, A. used one of his tails to create a large sheet and covered the girl with it as he lay her clothes out to dry. "Well it's best I can come up with but at least it'll keep you warm, least you're not dead as well, it'll be sad to make an unmarked grave for you out here in the wilderness." he sighed as he sat down warming himself by the fire pit as night slowly rises, " A different world isn't it, though I'm not sure it's an era I grew up in." He said to his third tail as though it was like a pet as he looks at the girl wondering what era it is. Feeding the fire every time it slowly burns out, exhaustion slowly lingers but keeping his focus he remained conscious as he survey his surroundings.

The noise of sparks and the wave of heat woke the girl. Her eyes slowly opened. "Where am... I" She said it quietly. As she sat up, she noticed she wasn't fully dressed and had some sheet thing around her. Her face completely filled red, and pulled the sheet up to cover, Then saw a boy by the fire and assumed he was the one to take it. "W-Where my clothes!!" She yelled as one hand reached down to find her sword she was holding. But her sword wasn't near her which was a shock. She looked around and then saw it near the boy. -Dang it.- The girl looked at the strange boy, seeing he looked different.

Activity: CautiousQuickly getting up after hearing her yell, he raised his hands a bit trying to calm her down. " Whoa whoa whoa! this isn't what it looks like, I only saved you from drowning in the river." He said franticly as he pointed to where her clothes are, " if you're looking for your clothes they're hanging on the branches drying, I had to remove them to prevent you from getting cold." He said calmingly, he then handed the girl's sword back but backed away. He sat down across from the fire pit showing that he mean no harm to the girl.
Pointing at his jacket which he let the girl use as a pillow, he gestured that she can use it for the mean time as her clothes hasn't fully dried as he sat quietly for a while, catching his breathe. "My name is Avery, I'm a traveler of sort." he stated taking his glasses off though he wasn't sure he'd get a response from a girl as he can see that she's in shock. And the feeling of giving a bad impression came to mind with a little bit of hope, Avery could only show a harmless smile, "I'm not gonna hurt you, though I'm not sure if you can understand me." he implied while lowering his head.

Nina was startled when the boy spoke, and kept her eyes on him. He then pointed behind her, saying where her clothes were but she didn't look away. The boy then handed her sword to her and sat across the fire pit. Nina kept her blade close as she watched the strange boy point at the jacket near her and listen to what he had to say. Putting on the jacket, she was surprised when hearing he was a traveler. -Avery? A traveler huh? Can't be...- She look down at the jacket she was wearing. -This is different clothing... Just like...- She then realized she lost focused of the boy and looked up. He smiled and stated he wasn't going to hurt her. She stood quite for a moment, her thoughts scrabbled up. -What should I say! If he really is a traveler then shouldn't he be at the castle.- She took a deep breath and kept her eyes on Avery. "M-Mine name is Nina... I'm a servant for the castle near by but... They had me go travel out to the other kingdoms" Nina kept a straight face, lying to him. "You say your a traveler. May I ask why you came here? Why are you in the middle of the forest?" She wondered about him, not yet trusting him. The wind blew against the trees, Nina kept her guard up, looking around the at the trees.

Activity: Calm((occ: No worries and well I haven't come up with a name, but you can give a suggestion if you have one.)) "Nina huh? Pleased to meet you." he said and kept his cool as he takes a deep breath standing up and looking up at the clouds then looking back at Nina he gathered his words as he try to answer her question in a simple way, " Well to answer one of your questions, all I can say is that I have a goal, it's like any others, but, I am determined to see it through, I simply wish to change "A" world." he said as he then lean against a tree folding his arms though seeing that Nina was holding her blade close he kept his distance. Avery thought to himself as he wonders if Nina really was a servant and as to why they would send a servant out to other kingdoms. "Sorry to ask, but, I'm wondering if your masters treat you well, yet I have doubt, since you have bandages on your hands." he stated as one of his tails began to scratch his head though most of the time he seemed to be counting his tails and gets the same number of tails. Nodding his head *Three tails only, seems like I'll have to make use of what I have for now. Having only one tail that isn't in use he didn't do much with it since one is used to cover the holes in his clothes and the other being used as a sheet cover which is used by Nina to keep herself warm, though thinking about the cold he used his remaining tail as a sheet and covered himself from the cold night and sitting down by the tree and facing the fire pit.
