He would have preferred to work out earlier in the morning, when there were fewer people about, but work came first, and he'd had things to attend to. But now he was finished, and sort of waiting for the next assignment, so he hit the gym. Mau had 2 punching bags set up. Even though he'd hated it as a kid, Mau continued to practice Kuta. It had probably saved his life more then once and at this stage in his life, it was still really good exercise and kept him sharp.
The punches were loud, sharp, and quick. He was attacking the two hanging punching bags, almost as if he were being ganged up on. Kuta was all about reflex. Take your natural reflex actions and turn them into an attack. He was sort of lost in his own little world of training. Working out always got his blood pumping and he loved it. He didn't love wearing a sweaty shirt until he got to the locker room, so he just discarded it completely. His wrists and ankles were taped up for stability, and the white wrappings matched his white shorts.

KO shrugged. "Oh you know, this and that." Being dead. The red-haired man's smile tensed a little and he pushed the thought to the back of his mind, or tried to anyway. "I've been working on a few things with Agent Tambery, tailoring beautiful clothes, and pondering a project or two of my own. Of course as a grunt I don't have access to the best of materials and I have to work on ideas in my own time but overall I suppose I can't complain." Except that he could, and he would - at length - if it were anything else but this... this he didn't want to think or talk about.
"Oh, but you must come into Sandalwood with me soon," KO continued, shifting his weight to his other hip and slowly starting to relax again as he moved away from the unpleasant thoughts. "There's a new club that's opened up just last month, not... what did I call it? Oh yes, 'specialised' but it has a good atmosphere and zero tolerance on bad behaviour. Their cocktails are excellent and the music selection is always good, so if you get an evening off let me know."
