Ashton sighed softly to himself as he laid back on the roof of the school watching the clouds drift by as the bell signalling the start of class but he made no effort to move as he continued to watch the clouds drift by before taking out a cigarette and lighting it as he laid back once more humming a little song to himself

It was about midday. Lunch was ending and class was starting. Akira made her rounds through the school to make sure no one was ditching. While she often left this duty to other members they informed her earlier that they had a test to take in the following hour, thus missing the start of class was not an option. Akira on the other hand was a top student who could afford to miss a few minutes of class to make sure everything was in line with how it should be. She rounded corners and floors smiling at frantic fellow students as they rushed to class. Some nodded in acknowledgement to her presence while others just simply made their way to class. Whatever the case she didn't need to really exchange words with anyone. "Akira!" A female student came rushing up to her, half panicked and half relieved to see the president. "Have you seen Ashton? The english teacher is getting irritated that he's missing another period."

That was irritating. Ashton seemed to be the only thing the teachers and students complained about sometimes. He was a student who took up so much of the student councils time. It was time wasted trying to track him down or to get him to stay in one place. Akira sighed and shook her head before dejectedly replying. "I haven't seen him. Tell the teacher I'll go looking for him..." This was perfect. Just wonderfully perfect. She was most likely going to spending the next ten minutes looking for the male just to spend another ten minutes trying to get him to class let alone put in all of her energy trying to keep up with him if he decided to make a break for it. Why was the council even handling this problem? Wasn't it at the point the principal should be taking care of it? Or was it that the council was more responsible at handling such things. Whatever the case Akira made her way up to the roof. Hopefully he'd make her job easy today.

"Get to class Ash." She stood at the entrance to the roof looking at Ashton. "Also no smoking on school grounds!"

Ashton looked up at her before blowing out a cloud of smoke away from her and sat up "Akria really I need to go to that English class? I know the material so even if i go it's pointless I'd rather relax up here to be honest and it's not like i'm hurting anyone" he said calmly as he turned to her with a shrug of his shoulders

He was normally like this now, the past few years of school he had become lazy and stopped attending most classes as he quickly found he was ahead of the class in a lot of them... He recently had found he would rather be out downtown in the casinos or bars gambling and enjoying himself but he shrugged again and stood "So Even with all of what I said you're going to make me go anyway aren't you?" he asked her with a tilt of his head

Akira rolled her eyes as he continued to smoke, this idiot was taking who knows how many years from his life! He even had the audacity to ask her if he honestly had to go. Of course he had to! He was a student just like the rest of them and if he was able to slack off just because she was tired of telling him to go to class then others would follow. The last thing she needed was to deal with the dropping numbers of students attending. Akira got closer to the male and took the cigarette from his hand. "You know what I'll say and I'm sure your tired of hearing it more than I'm tired of saying it." She dropped the cigarette onto the ground and crushed it under her foot. "Yes, you do. If you want to relax than go home or something. School wasn't made so you could just relax here and deter the rest of us from doing or own work." If school was a joke couldn't he just go home? What was the point in even staying here if he wasn't going to do anything. "You're hurting plenty of us so just get to class."

She coughed slightly at the smell of the smoke. She was never a fan of smokers of the scent of cigarettes and honestly couldn't understand why people would smoke such things. "Of course I'm going to make you go back to class." She sighed and pointed to the door. "Lets go. The sooner the better." She was fairly confident she'd be able to get the boy to go, or well was until the familiar sound of the announcement system chimed. "Excuse this interruption. This is your principal speaking here. Student council President Akira Ito and Vice President Kazuo Fujita please come to my office please." The announcements ended there and Akira turned away from Ashton. She looked from him to the door. This must have been important for her to be summoned along with the vp. "Get to class. I'll let you slip this time." With that Akira was off to the Principal's office. She ran down the hallways and met up with Kazuo. "You know what this is a about?" "Nope." The exchange was quick. He didn't know and neither did she. The two made their way to the first floor where the principal awaited them.

Ashton watched her walk off after the announcement before he followed along planning to split off along the way and head to the library to do some reading of more interesting topics but he spoke up "He sounds a little worried about something, maybe it's got something to do with the rumors going around at the moment" he said calmly as he tucked his hands into his pockets compleatly nonchalant as he blatantly ignored his English class as they walked past it

"Oh before you say anything about me walking past class I'm going to the library to study something other than Of Mice and Men, read that book years ago so going to work on a history paper I've been working on for a week or two now" he said still at ease before they got to the Principals offices
"Well here is where we part for now see you around Akira" he said with a waves as he walked off and turned into the library at the end of the corridor.
