Tørstår; City of the Light, Home of the Chimeras, is ironically situated deep within the Great Rift. Tørstår is named after the large crystal in the center of the City, which is merely referred to as the, "Tør-står."
Tørstår's highest council; the Council of Chiefs, is a special council where only the most loyal can join. The High Chiefs ultimately command the entire faction by simple democratic vote. When there is a tie they elect the strongest from the two sides to duel. The winner's side breaks the tie. This tradition is called "Tartózkodó," and is the most respected tradition in the entire nation. In order to join this council you must be, or have been, a Warchief. Below is a list of all Chiefs that are part of the council:

Tørstår's military, or rather The Warclans, is comprised of several combat units (i.e. The Warclans). Each Warclan is led by a Warchief. In order to become a High Council Chief, you must first be a Warchief. Not all Warchiefs are part of the High Council though. A Warclan is comprised of at least 3 members. The Chief, and at least two subordinates. Each Warclan has a special name, and usually some specialty. There is no limit to the number of Warclans. Members of a Warclan are simply called "Warriors," you cannot become a Warchief without having first attaining a lower rank in the faction. Whether that is a Warrior, or a Scout.
Rank Hierarchy: (+ One time award for attainment)
Warchief: (750 F&R), must have been a Warrior, or Black Scout in order to be promoted to this rank. Warrior: (100 F&R)
Technically not part of the Warclans, but working closely with them. The Assassin's Guild not only employs assassins, but also any sort of covert operatives that you can think of. Spies, saboteurs, etc. There are two main rank hierarchies; Scouts, and Assassins. You must first achieve the rank of Scout before you can be promoted to a Spy, then a Saboteur, and finally an Assassin.
Rank Hierarchy: (+ One time award for attainment)
Guild Master: "Master of Assassin," (750 F&R),
Assassin: (200 F&R), Requires the rank below. Saboteur: (150 F&R), Requires the rank below. Spy: (50 F&R), Must attain Black Scout rank first, or complete a special Quest granted directly from a High Council Chief to attain this rank.
Black Scout: (150 F&R), must have recruited at least 3 Scouts to attain. Scout: (50 F&R)
In order to accept a quest you must post in this topic quoting Narx (and feel free to include quotes of all current mods for fastest results) with the name of the quest you wish to do, and name you wish to take up (your RPC is considered to be in the city if you do this). The requirements for the quest requested should already be fulfilled when you do this (i.e. If you need to change your allegiance, or need a certain rank or title for the quest, this should already be done). General Quests are open for anyone, though if you are Naiørian you better watch your back as you are not welcome here. Quest series are usually a way to integrate yourself into the faction. You can usually complete the first quest of a series without having to change allegiance, or join the faction, but you won't likely be able to continue further. TRAVEL RULE:Whenever you must travel through a region, your posts must be 6 hours apart at minimum, unless said otherwise (this allows time for people to ambush, or interact with you in some way). If the quest does not say how much time, and you travel with at least one companion (real people in the role play), then you may make your posts and be on your way immediately (yes, you pesky loners are being punished).
AFTER the Quest: After you have finished the quest you do not need to post in every place you traveled through to get there (unless specified otherwise). You may "fast travel," back to where you picked the quest up and post that you have completed the quest. You should quote your Capt'n Narx again, or the mod you quoted before who gave you permission. You may then add to your profile the due amount of F&R.
General Quests:
Quest 1"Fear of the unknown" Quest Description: Tørstår has issued a bounty on: [narxfang or Narx]. You are to capture him and bring him back to Tørstår as soon as possible. You are allowed to higher one other person, and pay them 10 F&R (you still get your full 25 F&R). You can bring him peacefully if he wishes, or you can challenge him to combat, if you win you can subdue him and bring him in. If he fights you, you gain an extra 5 F&R. Fame & Riches: 25 F&R.
Quest 2"Resource Collection" Quest Description: Tørstår is not the most wealthy nation in terms of resources. They may have excess metals and gems, but they lack lumber, and other forest based products. You are to travel to the Nyfødthjem Wildlands. In the Southland you can harvest lumber (post at least twice, one entry and one exit post). Then you can return with the lumber in a cart that is provided upon acceptance of this quest. You will need to hire someone to help you haul the lumber. You are allowed to pay them 10 F&R for the quest (You still get your full 15 F&R). Fame & Riches: (15 F&R)
Quest 3"Rough em up!" Quest Description: We all know that Naiørians are despicable creatures, worthy of nothing but spittle and pain. Find a Naiørian and let them know how much you don't like them. Spit on three Naiørians. Fame & Riches: 15 F&R
Counter Espionage Quest Series:
Quest 1"Counter Espionage: The Draft" Quest Description: It has come to the attention of the Tørstårian government that Naiøria has initiated a new wave of espionage. In order to counter this we must find and recruit loyal Tørstårians to become Scouts. Scouts are the lowest rank within the Assassin Guild of Tørstår. If you accept this quest you accept the title of Scout, and must change your profile's allegiance to Tørstår. You are charged with finding 3 Tørstårians to join up as a Scout (who must also change their profile's allegiance to Tørstår). If you complete this mission you get promoted to the rank of Black Scout. You will be in charge of the 3 scouts you recruit. Fame & Riches: (30 F&R) 10 for each recruit. Scout Rank upon acceptance. Black Scout Rank upon completion. You retain this rank even if all your scouts disbanded. Also each recruit will gain the standard F&R for that rank.
(Titles can and should be added to your profile. They allow you to move up in a faction, and are also likely to make you a core player in Ark Verse. Special opportunities will be granted to those who hold positions within the major factions, and player made factions).

Quest 2"Counter Espionage: Creating a Network" Quest Description:Only Black Scouts can accept this quest. The Assassin Guild sends you orders to gather your scouts and discuss a counter espionage network. Each member should have a place to monitor. Fame & Riches: Each member of the meeting gains 5 F&R for each other member present (including themselves).

Quest 3"Counter Espionage: Capture" Quest Description: You have likely found a Naiørian spy by now. If you have you need to group up and capture them. If you have not identified a spy, fight and capture the first Naiørian you can. Interrogate them about other Naiørians and try to get a lead on the Naiørian spies. You may release them once you are done. Fame & Riches: Each member of your party will gain: 10 for the fight 10 for the Capture and interrogation.
The Black Scout will gain an additional 5 F&R on top of this.
Path of Blood Quest Series:
Quest 1"Crimson Stains" Quest Description: In order to enlist as a Warrior in Tørstår's Warclans you must first accomplish this quest (after this quest you are not required to join up as a Warrior though). Once completed, you can join a specific Warclan, or merely join up as a general recruit (not under any specific Warchief). Travel to the Nyfødthjem Wildlands and go deep into the Forest of Wytrhjem. There you will find a crimson flower. This flower is called Vérfoltos, and when consumed it sends you into a state of nearly unbearable pain. You will struggle to even breath, as every breath will rack your body and mind with intense pain (Lasts 2 posts, and educes your RPC level by 100 posts). Post at least twice. While you are there hopefully no creature, nor enemy stumbles upon you in this time. If you make it back to Tørstår in one piece you may attain the rank of Warrior. Fame & Riches: (20 F&R)

Quest 2"Blood of Tørstår" Quest Description:You must be a Warrior in order to take up this quest. Tørstår's Warriors are renowned far and wide for their prowess in battle. You have proved that you are capable of taking great pain on yourself, now you must prove that you are able to truly contribute to your nation. Your quest is to invoke the "Blood of Tørstår." This is a Warclan ritual where you slice your hand with a blade and scatter blood upon whomever you wish to challenge [They may not refuse this challenge, if they do contact a moderator]. You then must duel this person (3 posts each minimum). You are not to kill this person, and there isn't necessarily a winner nor a loser to this duel. The purpose of the Blood of Tørstår is to prove that you are brave enough to fight. Fame & Riches: 20 F&R

Quest 3"Naiørian Scum" Quest Description:You must complete the "Blood of Tørstår" quest in order to take up this quest. You are now a Warrior who has proved that they are strong, and capable of the tasks you will be given. As a sort of unofficial ritual you are whisked away from the barracks at night by your fellow Warriors. They tell you that in order to remain a warrior you will have to find and fight some Naiørian scum. You must find a someone who has allegiance to Naiøria and assault them (they may accept, or reject this combat). Fame & Riches: 10 F&R
Beads of sweat covered her fur and her face until the sun was low enough upon the horizon to allow for a break. Finally, the heat of the wildlands had settled for the night, allowing her to barter her way for lumber in peace.
Entering the shadowy yet glowing city of Torstar once again, Skygra quickly pulled her hood up to hide her face. She huffed and could not hide her exhaustion, though.
She shimmied and squirmed in between the cracks of streets that pervaded the darker side of the city until she could reach the black market. Her bag was weighing on her--and she needed help, something she hated to ask for.

She knew that lumber was hard to come by, and hid her hand by the hilt of a dagger while brushing her pack farther behind her. She was too tired to engage in combat with this...this...she couldn't pin him down...his species...she sniffed the smokey air for his scent.
"Could he be a...dragon warrior?" she thought to herself. She shook herself out of it--doesn't matter what he is. This is mine. And though she was wary of him, she also admired his locks of hair and muscular build. Impressive...

"The name's Skygra, but everyone calls me Sky. Don't spread it around. I appreciate the help, though." She realized she may have sounded too harsh, but didn't want this Errvin fellow getting the best of her...and her quest.
"Know anyone on the market looking for the lumber? I need to get to the black market. I'll give you a portion of the money we earn, but not half...I chopped the wood myself--sound good?" On the outside, she was rough, but a rumble in her stomach gave away her slight youth. She was hungry. And now he knew she was a scrap hunter. Climbing her way up the social ladder like a pawn in a chess match... "Oh, yea...don't cross me, though I do love a good fight...I miss it since..." She stopped herself before she revealed too much. And nodded to Errvin to lead her.
"Think you could handle the sack for a bit?" She asked. "But don't steal it. You don't want to cross me. Cause when someone does--I never forget it. But anyway...thanks."
Sky was conflicted around this dragon warrior. She didn't know what to make of him yet, and she was much better in silence than holding a conversation, especially one that sounded more like a threat than gratitude...

He paused with the mile threat that was said by this woman he acquainted"Just to let you know threats don't work on me. " he walked to the direction of the job center where she can finish the job she completed.

She smiled sadly. And silently took the bag from Errvin and walked into the job center to claim her reward.
Returning to him after collecting the bounty, she gave him his share. "Thanks again. You give off a trusting aura..." She said pensively. "What exactly do you want with me? I'm nothing. Nobody. Just a killer and a monster."
