What does a boil do when he can't remember. . . who knows what he last remembered. Well, apparently a boil spends his time wandering around the school grounds and venturing into town at random intervals, mostly in the evening. At least that's what the boil Hayes was doing. Since he woke up a couple nights ago his memory had been foggy and while he wasn't overly concerned--the boil never really experienced that emotion--he was vaguely interested in figuring out if it was a random occurrence or whether it would stick forever.
Hayes shrugged his shoulders as he approached one of the ponds located not far from the undead dorm. Admittedly, the boil hadn't made it far but that wasn't unusual for him. Hayes went at his own speed and generally just walked until he stopped. He never had a destination or a timeframe in which he felt he needed to be there. The boil huffed before he crouched down to look a little closer into the murky depths of the pond, looking to see if anything was still in there. The pond was so dirty that he couldn't even see the encroaching stars beginning to dot the sky reflected onto the surface. Seems like someone in maintenance had decided to quit. Months ago.

"There's nothing there." Came a cool voice, and sitting nearby was a frost demon with horns curving forward and up towards the sky, his gaze and posture making him look a bit dejected.
"Unless you were wanting to take a bath in that muck?" He continued. The demon didn't seem to care either way, just sitting and minding his own business -- well, until Hayes came along, that was.
Shifting back, his blue eyes stared at Hayes with mild interest, tilting his head and making his long braid shift along his shoulder.
