Gemi walks down a beaten path silently as he heads towards the Johto region. With him was his Typhlosion 'Ruby', his most trusted partner and friend that was with him since the beginning of their adventure so many weeks ago. Together they had gather a team, overcame enormous challenges, fought unbelievable battles, and became one of the top trainers in the 5 out 9 regions. The other 4 regions didn't catch his interest so he never went to challenge them. He was in the Kalos region when he had heard of a new region opening up. He had decided to take a break instead of following the rest of the trainers, so he head back home. Ruby trots behind in silent as well. He watches his master back as he happily remembers all the battles he had fought to gain his current strength. He was the big brother figure to all his master fellow Pokemon. Of course he wasn't the strongest, the fastest, nor the smartest, but he had been with his master the longest and as such. He had the deepest bond with his master between the group. In his battle record so far he had only lost 9 times to different trainers and their Pokemon. Surprisingly his master had also lost and fainted 9 different times and he had earned the unofficial title 'last boss' among his master Pokemon. Then there is a rustle in the bushes...

Autumn, a shiny chikorita, was in the bushes, running from yet another trainer who wanted to catch her. She was already hurt, so she had a limp as she ran away. Her leg was badly bruised from hitting a tree, after getting tackled by the trainer's Pidgey. She was abandoned by her trainer a few months ago, so she didn't trust humans all that much anymore, since mostly they only wanted her so they could get a shiny pokemon on their team. As she was running, she ran into Gemi's leg, and let out a small yelp. She rubbed her head with her leaf, before she looked at Gemi, and started glaring at him in a distrusting fashion. She had a razor leaf attack ready to go, just in case he tried to attack her. "Chika Chika!" (Stay Away!) She shouted as she glared at him trying to circle around him to get away.

Gemi didn't have too much time to get ready when he saw a shiny Pokemon rushing towards him and bumping into him. "Woah! A shiny Chikorita... Huh?" He notices right away the hostility and steps back a bit cautiously. His Typhlosion 'Ruby' growls warnings toward the wild Pokemon and his back plumes starts to rise. Before he could issue a command to Ruby to attack, Ruby pulls on his shirt and points to the wild Chikoritas leg. "What is it Ruby? Oh?! I see now, It's injured. I wish I can help it Ruby, but it looks like it won't allow me to help it." Ruby continues to speak while still being vigilant. "Typh typh Typhlosion Typhlosion." (You are too injured. Let my master help you recover. He is a nice master and he won't harm you." Before they could continue to talk, another trainer comes out of the bushes. "Hey! That is my Pokemon. I saw it first, so it is mine." Gemi simply moves his body to cover the injured Pokemon from the trainers gaze. "You haven't caught it yet, so it isn't yours. If you want it, then you are going to have to battle me to get it. Ruby, cover the Chikorita! Lets go Lily." A shiny Gardevoir came out of its Poke ball majestically and prepare for combat. Ruby looks back at the injured Chikorita "typhlosion typh typhlosion." (See. My master is kind. There is nothing to worry.) After the 2 minuet battle against several Pidgeys, Gemi recovers the shiny Gardevoir and turns his attention to the injured Pokemon. He kneels down away from the Pokemon pulls out a Sitrus Berry, a potion and lays it down in order to not alarm the injured Pokemon. "All I am trying to do is help you."

Autumn still wasn't convinced but was really exhausted from all her running earlier. She cautiously approached Gemi, keeping a watchful eye on him and Ruby as she was approaching the sitrus berry. Poor thing was starving. She was raised by a trainer who abandoned her a few weeks later because she wasn't growing like he wanted her to. As she took the berry, she took it to a bush and started to eat it hungrily. Autumn wasn't too trusting of humans because every human she came across chased her and set traps for her. She'd already moved far away from her trainer's hometown, and where he abandoned her. Once she finished with the berry, she was still hungry, she looked at Gemi, before she limped over to the potion, not too sure about Ruby as she did. She nudged the potion over to Gemi with her leaf, and nodded. He had saved her from a trainer after all. Plus there was something about him that she liked. Something that told her that he wasn't like the others.

"Ruby. Keep watch over our surroundings. Who knows if another trainer or another wild Pokemon will appear." Gemi didn't simile as he wonders what caused the Chikorita to be so injured and hungry. He pulls out four more berries and put it in front of the Pokemon as he took the potion back. "I am going to spray it while you are eating. This will sting a bit. Please bear with it." He waits until the Chikorita was eating before spraying the potion onto her wounds. If the Pokemon was startled enough, it would run away. So before it would become even more afraid of him, he got up and starts to walk away with Ruby. "I hope you find peace." Ruby looks at the Chikorita and similes. "Typhlosion typh typh Typhlosion." (Be careful out there.)

Autumn was amazed at the power of Gemi's team. She followed without them knowing, staying silent as she did. She didn't want to give herself away just yet. She kept watch carefully whenever they were around trainers. Something told Autumn that Gemi was nicer than he lead on. After a while, she'd followed him pretty far. They were in a city now, called Lumiose. She had lost tack of them in a crowd, but used her instincts to head to the Pokemon Center. She wasn't sure if they'd be there, but she hoped they would be. Though on the way there, she was crossing the street, when a car honked it's horn at her with her dodging cars left and right. Then a large truck was speeding through the streets, she jumped out of the way just in time, but sprained her ankle before limping into some bushes next to Lumiose Tower. She was too scared to come out, even for officer Jenny's pokemon. She shivered in back of the bush, using vine whip to slap away anyone's hand that came near her.

Gemi felt the Chikorita was following them, but wasn't sure where it was excatly. He had confirmed it with Ruby but kept silent about it. He couldn't capture it since his team was full and that he didn't have enough Pokeballs for a sure capture. So he went on his way until he reached Lumiose. He went straight to the Pokemon center thinking the Chikorita would follow him, but to his surprise it didn't. "Hmm I guess it didn't want to be with me then..." While he was lost in his thoughts, Typhlosion pulled his shirt. He then heard a horn in the distance and immediately thought of the Chikorita. "Sorry Nurse Joy. I leave the rest of my Pokemon here to heal, Typhlosion you are with me and I hope my bad feeling doesn't come true. It took them awhile until with the help of Officer Jenny, they located the Chikorita. He squatted down and pulled out the last of his berries and place them before the bush. "I don't think you remember me, but this location is no place for a wild Pokemon to be. I can bring you to a safe place if you want. No one should bother you there."
